Canadiens' Kirby Dach: Notches helper in win

Dach posted an assist and two blocked shots in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Islanders.

This was Dach's fourth game back after he missed nearly three weeks due to an upper-body injury. The 25-year-old forward has been in a middle-six role since his return, so his scoring contributions are likely to remain limited. He's at eight goals, seven assists, 47 shots on net, 53 hits and a minus-2 rating over 36 appearances this season.

Canadiens' Lane Hutson: Adds pair of helpers

Hutson notched two assists and went plus-2 in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Islanders.

Hutson has a goal and four assists over his last six outings. Canadiens' Ivan Demidov: Buries power-play goal

Demidov scored a power-play goal in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Islanders.

Demidov had the middle tally of a three-goal burst in 55 seconds for the Canadiens late in the second period. His goal stood as the game-winner. The 20-year-old rookie has five goals, 10 points and 22 shots on net over his last 22 outings as he continues to be a big contributor to the offense. He's at 19 goals, 62 points (20 on the power play), 126 shots on net and a plus-4 rating over 81 contests overall.

  • Alex Newhook C | MON

Newhook scored a goal and added an assist in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Islanders.

Newhook stretched the Canadiens' lead to 3-0 in the second period and set up a Zachary Bolduc tally late in the third. The 25-year-old Newhook has earned five points and 18 shots on net over his last 10 contests. For the season, the forward has 13 goals, 25 points, 60 shots on net, 46 hits and a plus-10 rating over 41 appearances, mainly in a middle-six role.

  • Dante Fabbro D | CLB

Blue Jackets' Dante Fabbro: Posts helper in Sunday's loss

Fabbro recorded an assist in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Bruins.

Fabbro ended a 16-game point drought with the helper. He's moved around the lineup a bit in that span, though he's mostly been in a top-four role since Damon Severson (shoulder) exited the lineup. Fabbro has just 11 points with 67 shots on net, 64 hits, 118 blocked shots and a minus-16 rating over 73 appearances this season.

Marchment scored a goal on two shots in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Bruins.

Marchment has two goals and six assists over his last seven outings. He led the Blue Jackets' forwards with 22:36 of ice time Sunday despite being listed on the third line. The veteran winger is up to 19 goals, 44 points, 116 shots on net, 84 hits and a plus-16 rating over 67 appearances between the Blue Jackets and the Kraken this season.

  • Bruins' Jordan Harris: Snags assist in Sunday's win

Harris produced an assist and two blocked shots in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Blue Jackets.

Harris has played twice over the last five games. The 25-year-old may also be in the lineup Tuesday versus the Devils if the Bruins opt to continue resting Charlie McAvoy or Hampus Lindholm, or if another player rotates out of the lineup. The helper was Harris' third point in eight appearances this season, as he's mainly been confined to a depth role and also missed over three months due to an ankle injury.

  • James Hagens C | BOS

Bruins' James Hagens: Draws assist in debut

Hagens logged an assist and two PIM in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Blue Jackets.

Hagens signed his entry-level deal Wednesday and had to wait a game for his debut. He helped out on Henri Jokiharju's go-ahead goal in the second period. Hagens will likely get one more chance to play in the regular season in Tuesday's game against the Devils, but it's unclear if he'll play a major role during the postseason.

  • Wild's Viking Gustafsson-Nyberg: Game-time decision

Gustafsson-Nyberg (not injury related) will be a game-time decision against St. Louis on Monday, according to Michael Russo of The Athletic.

Gustafsson-Nyberg signed a two-year, entry-level contract with the Minnesota on Thursday. He had one assist in two games for AHL Iowa after finishing his second season with UConn in 2025-26. If his paperwork clears in time for Monday's matchup against the Blues, then he will make his NHL debut.

  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Not playing Monday

Verhaeghe (lower body) won't play against the Rangers on Monday, George Richards of Florida Hockey Now reports.

Verhaeghe will sit out his second straight outing. He has produced 25 goals, 55 points, 187 shots on net and 68 hits across 77 appearances this campaign. It's unclear if he will be available to play in Florida's regular-season finale against the Red Wings on Wednesday.
