  • Troy Terry RW | ANA

Ducks' Troy Terry: Posts three points in return

Terry recorded a goal, two assists, three shots on goal and a plus-3 rating in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Canadiens.

Terry returned to the lineup Sunday after a nine-game absence due to an upper-body injury, and after suiting up in just three of the Ducks' previous 23 contests. The 28-year-old forward couldn't have asked for a better return to the ice, as he got involved in three of the team's four goals and scored a key equalizer late in the second period. Terry is up to 14 goals and 34 assists on the season, and he should remain a productive top-six forward for a rising Ducks team as long as he stays healthy.

  • Lukas Dostal G | ANA

Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Earns win over Canadiens

Dostal stopped 27 of 30 shots in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Canadiens.

Dostal allowed three goals over the opening 13 minutes of the second period, but he closed the door effectively the rest of the way, allowing the Ducks to mount a comeback. Dostal has been playing at a high level since before the Olympic break, although his numbers are a bit underwhelming when you look past the win-loss record. Even though Dostal has won eight of his previous 10 starts (8-2-0), he owns a 3.44 GAA and a subpar .874 save percentage over that span.

  • Penguins' Evgeni Malkin: Eligible to play Monday

Malkin has served his five-game suspension and will be available to face Colorado on Monday.

Malkin is currently mired in a 10-game goal drought dating back to Jan. 25 versus the Canucks. The veteran forward has still been shooting the puck during his slump, generating 31 shots along with seven helpers. With Malkin back in the lineup, he figures to move back into a top-six role and rejoin the No. 1 power-play unit.

  • Panthers' Vinnie Hinostroza: Buries goal in loss

Hinostroza scored a goal on two shots in Sunday's 6-2 loss to the Kraken.

Hinostroza provided a quick response to Berkly Catton's goal in the middle of the first period, but the Panthers weren't able to keep pace after that. With three points over three games since joining the Panthers, Hinostroza is making a good case for keeping his fourth-line spot. He's at five goals, 13 points, 49 shots on net, 32 hits and a minus-7 rating over 51 appearances between Florida and Minnesota this season.

  • Panthers' Eetu Luostarinen: Tallies late in loss

Luostarinen scored a goal on four shots in Sunday's 6-2 loss to the Kraken.

Luostarinen's goal was far too late to matter, coming at 19:58 of the third period. The 27-year-old snapped a nine-game point drought with the tally. He had just eight shots on net, 10 hits and seven blocked shots in that span despite playing in at least a middle-six role most of the time. Luostarinen has eight goals, 25 points, 87 shots on net, 108 hits, 45 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over 58 appearances, surpassing his total of 24 points from 80 regular-season outings last year.

  • Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: No match for Kraken

Tarasov stopped 19 of 25 shots in Sunday's 6-2 loss to the Kraken.

Tarasov took his fifth loss in his last six outings, and this was not a pretty performance. The Kraken got goals from all over the lineup, including four from the bottom six and one from a defenseman. Tarasov is down to 9-11-2 with a 2.96 GAA and an .896 save percentage over 23 appearances this season. He's alternated starts with Sergei Bobrovsky for most of March, and if the Panthers keep that pattern going, it would essentially be a white flag on their title defense. The Panthers' next game is an easy one Tuesday in Vancouver.

  • Kraken's Frederick Gaudreau: Nabs helper in win

Gaudreau notched an assist, three hits and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Panthers.

This was Gaudreau's first point in four games since he returned from missing a contest due to an illness. The 32-year-old has been playing on the fourth line recently, allowing Shane Wright to get work as the third-line center. Gaudreau is up to 19 points, 51 shots on net, 42 blocked shots, 24 hits and a plus-4 rating over 52 appearances in a defense-first role in the Kraken's bottom six.

  • Kraken's Jamie Oleksiak: Goals in consecutive games

Oleksiak scored a goal, added an assist, blocked four shots and went plus-3 in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Panthers.

Oleksiak helped out on a Berkly Catton goal in the first period. In the third, Oleksiak crashed the net and cashed in on a Bobby McMann pass for the Kraken's last goal. With three points (two goals and one assist) over his last two games, it's been a productive burst for Oleksiak. The 33-year-old defenseman doesn't have many of those -- he's at five goals, 13 points, 60 shots on net, 95 hits, 95 blocked shots and a plus-8 rating across 64 appearances this season.

  • Kraken's Ryan Winterton: Picks up two points in win

Winterton scored a goal on two shots and added an assist in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Panthers.

Winterton has three points over his last five games after spending three contests in the press box. The 22-year-old forward is doing well in a fourth-line role when he gets to play, though he's had to share the spot with Jacob Melanson lately. Winterton is up to four goals, 18 points, 72 shots on net, 57 hits, 27 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over 61 appearances. His goal Sunday was his first career game-winner.

  • Ben Meyers C | SEA

Kraken's Ben Meyers: One of each Sunday

Meyers scored a goal and added an assist in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Panthers.

Meyers opened the scoring at 5:28 of the first period, deflecting in a Ryan Winterton shot. The two reversed roles on the third goal of the frame as Meyers set up Winterton for what would be the game-winner. With four points over seven outings in March, Meyers has done well from a fourth-line role. The 27-year-old is now at seven goals, eight assists, 54 shots on net, 50 hits and a minus-2 rating over 41 appearances this season.
