  • Marcus Foligno LW | MIN

Wild's Marcus Foligno: Good to play Thursday

Foligno (illness) is expected to play against Colorado on Thursday, per Joe Smith of The Athletic.

Foligno missed Minnesota's final two games before the Olympic break due to his illness. He has six goals, 11 points, 54 PIM and 145 hits across 46 appearances in 2025-26. Foligno is expected to serve on the fourth line Thursday alongside Nico Sturm and Vinnie Hinostroza.

  • Avalanche's Victor Olofsson: Puts away goal in win

Olofsson scored a goal on two shots and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Mammoth.

Olofsson ended his six-game point drought with the tally. The Avalanche are about as healthy as they've been all season, so expect Olofsson to fill a third-line role with power-play time going forward. He has 11 goals, 25 points, 105 shots on net and a plus-4 rating over 56 appearances this season, a little behind his 29-point effort from the same number of outings with Vegas in the 2024-25 regular season.

  • Brock Nelson C | COL

Avalanche's Brock Nelson: Reaches 30-goal mark

Nelson scored a goal on four shots in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Mammoth.

Nelson had 18 points over 14 contests in January, and the American Olympian has added two goals in three NHL outings in February. The 34-year-old reached the 30-goal mark Wednesday, doing so for the fourth time in the last five years -- all since his age-29 campaign after falling short of the milestone in his first eight NHL seasons. He's at 50 points, 129 shots on net, 43 blocked shots, 28 hits and a plus-8 rating across 56 appearances in his first full campaign with the Avalanche.

  • Logan Cooley C | UTA

Mammoth's Logan Cooley: Draws assist in return

Cooley logged an assist in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Avalanche.

Cooley missed 28 games due to a lower-body injury. The 21-year-old center will resume a top-six role and should have significant upside in fantasy for the rest of the campaign if he can stay healthy. He's at 24 points, 60 shots on net, 34 hits, 22 PIM and a plus-7 rating across 30 appearances this season.

  • Ryker Evans D | SEA

Kraken's Ryker Evans: Buries goal Wednesday

Evans scored a goal in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to the Stars.

Evans could be poised for a larger role on the blue line if Ryan Lindgren (undisclosed) misses time after his early exit Wednesday. The 24-year-old Evans has three goals over his last seven contests, giving him 13 points, 30 shots on net, 44 blocked shots, 26 hits, 24 PIM and a plus-6 rating through 42 appearances. Lindgren's injury won't open up power-play minutes, but Evans could get a boost at even strength, which should still help his offense.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Earns pair of assists

Harley logged two assists, two shots on goal, two PIM and a plus-3 rating in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Kraken.

Harley carried some momentum prior to the Olympic break, earning three goals and four assists over eight games before his stint with Team Canada. He's poised for a strong finish to what's been a challenging campaign. The 24-year-old defenseman is at 25 points, 76 shots on net, 102 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over 46 NHL outings, but he has plenty of upside based on his level of production over the previous two campaigns.

  • Sam Steel C | DAL

Stars' Sam Steel: Finds twine Wednesday

Steel scored a goal and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Kraken.

Steel stretched the Stars' lead to 3-0 with the middle tally of a three-goal burst in a span of 4:31 early in the second period. The 28-year-old went 13 games without a goal prior to the Olympic break, earning seven assists during that stretch. For the season, he has eight goals, 24 points, 65 shots on net, 59 hits and an even plus-minus rating over 58 appearances. That's in line with his usual full-season production, so it's possible this will be the first year he hits the 30-point mark.

  • Timo Meier RW | NJ

Devils' Timo Meier: Breaks up shutout bid

Meier scored a goal on six shots and added four hits in Wednesday's 2-1 loss to the Sabres.

Meier has two goals over his last four NHL games. The 29-year-old winger has earned just five points while posting a minus-12 rating over his last 18 contests for the Devils, despite taking 68 shots in that span. He's now at 15 goals, 14 assists, 182 shots, 95 hits, 32 blocked shots and a minus-19 rating over 53 appearances. Meier has a lot of fantasy potential as a power forward, but he'll need to build some momentum on offense.

  • Noah Cates LW | PHI

Flyers' Noah Cates: Nets lone goal in loss

Cates scored a goal on two shots and added three hits in Wednesday's 3-1 loss to the Capitals.

Cates went into the Olympic break on an 18-game goal drought, adding just four assists in that span. The 27-year-old may have benefited from the break, using it as a reset to get his campaign back on track. He's been fine in a middle-six role in 2025-26, earning 11 goals, 27 points, 90 shots on net, 67 hits, 38 blocked shots, 33 PIM and a plus-16 rating over 57 appearances, production largely in line with where he was at last year.

  • Red Wings' Simon Edvinsson: Removed from IR

Edvinsson (lower body) was taken off injured reserve ahead of Thursday's matchup with Ottawa, per the NHL media site.

Edvinsson looks set to return following a seven-game stint on injured reserve due to his lower-body injury. In 48 games this year, the 23-year-old blueliner notched six goals and 11 helpers and may be hard-pressed to get back over the 30-point threshold like last year.
