Pavol Regenda LW | SJ
Sharks' Pavol Regenda: Three points in Olympic win
Regenda produced two goals and an assist in Slovakia's 6-2 win over Germany in the Olympic men's hockey quarterfinals Wednesday.
The Sharks winger was quiet during the preliminary round, but Regenda was locked in as Slovakia advanced to the semifinals, potting goals in the first and third periods while setting up Milos Kelemen for a tally in the second. Regenda has two goals and four points through four games in the tournament, matching his point total from the 2022 Olympics in Beijing when Slovakia won bronze.

Samuel Hlavaj G | MIN
Wild's Samuel Hlavaj: Headed to semifinals
Hlavaj stopped 25 shots in Slovakia's 6-2 win over Germany during the quarterfinals of the Olympic men's hockey tournament Wednesday.
The Wild prospect got plenty of help from his offense, as Slovakia built a 4-0 lead before Hlavaj finally saw a puck get past him late in the second period. The 24-year-old netminder has been as impressive as his team in the tournament, allowing eight goals on 118 shots (.932 save percentage) as Slovakia looks to medal for a second straight Olympics after winning bronze at Beijing in 2022, a year when NHL players weren't involved.

Lukas Reichel LW | BOS
Canucks' Lukas Reichel: Two-point effort in loss
Reichel scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist in Germany's 6-2 loss to Slovakia in the quarterfinals of the Olympic men's hockey tournament Wednesday.
The 23-year-old Canucks winger couldn't prevent Germany from getting eliminated, but Reichel came up with his best performance of the tournament when it mattered most. Reichel recorded two goals and three points in five games during his first Olympics, and he'll head back to AHL Abbotsford to resume his season.

Philipp Grubauer G | SEA
Kraken's Philipp Grubauer: Tough loss in quarterfinals
Grubauer made 29 saves in Germany's 6-2 loss to Slovakia in the quarterfinals of the men's Olympic hockey tournament Wednesday.
Germany was simply outplayed, falling into a 4-0 hole before finally getting on the board late in the second period, and there wasn't much Grubauer could do to stem the tide. The Kraken netminder will head back to the NHL having gone 2-2 with a .912 save percentage while representing his country.

Pheonix Copley G | LA
Kings' Pheonix Copley: Sent back to AHL
Copley was loaned to AHL Ontario on Wednesday.
Copley was recalled by the Kings earlier in the day and had an opportunity to practice with the NHL club, but his move back to the minors will allow him to continue appearing in games for the Reign. Over 24 appearances with Ontario this year, Copley has gone 13-11-0 with a 2.95 GAA and .890 save percentage.

Filip Chytil C | VAN
Canucks' Filip Chytil: Being evaluated
Chytil, who missed Feb. 4's 5-2 loss to Vegas because of migraines, exited Wednesday's practice after being struck in the head by a snap shot, per Jeff Paterson of CanucksArmy.com.
Chytil will undergo X-rays. It's not clear if he has recovered from his migraine issue, so this head injury might be in addition to his existing problem. Chytil has three goals in 12 outings with Vancouver in 2025-26.

Victor Hedman D | TB
Lightning's Victor Hedman: Sustains lower-body injury
Hedman isn't getting ice time for Sweden against Team USA in Wednesday's quarterfinals game because of a lower-body injury, per Pierre LeBrun of TSN.
Hedman sustained the injury during the pregame warmups. He still dressed for the game as the seventh defenseman, but it seems he won't get any shifts. Hedman went into Wednesday's action with a goal and an assist in four appearances with Sweden in the 2026 Olympics. He also has 13 assists across 21 outings with Tampa Bay in 2025-26. If Sweden wins against the United States, then the Swedish team will play Friday in the semifinals.

Tyler Toffoli RW | SJ
Sharks' Tyler Toffoli: Suffers lower-body injury
Toffoli sustained a lower-body injury and is day-to-day, per Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now on Wednesday.
Toffoli has 15 goals and 36 points in 55 outings with the Sharks in 2025-26. If he can't play when the Sharks' schedule resumes against Calgary on Feb. 26, then Collin Graf might shift into the top six.

Mikey Anderson D | LA
Kings' Mikey Anderson: Slated to play after Olympic break
Anderson (upper body) should be available once the Olympic break is over, Anthony Collazo of MayorsManor.com reports Wednesday.
The Kings will resume their schedule next Wednesday against Vegas. While it looks like Anderson will draw back into the lineup for that game, he needs to be activated off injured reserve before that can happen. The 26-year-old has two goals, nine points, 14 PIM, 59 hits and 77 blocks in 54 appearances this season. Jacob Moverare will probably be a healthy scratch versus the Golden Knights if Anderson is back in the lineup.

Ryan Reaves RW | SJ
Sharks' Ryan Reaves: Should be available after break
Reaves (upper body) should be ready to return when the Sharks resume play against the Flames on Feb. 26, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.
Reaves was placed on injured reserve ahead of the Sharks' final game before the Olympic break, but he seems to be back to full health with just over a week before the team resumes play. The 39-year-old hasn't been officially activated from injured reserve, but he'll have just over a week to regain his conditioning at practice with the Sharks.
