Nick Bjugstad C | NJ
Devils' Nick Bjugstad: Involved in trade
Bjugstad was acquired by New Jersey from St. Louis on Wednesday in exchange for Thomas Bordeleau and a conditional 2026 fourth-round draft pick.
Bjugstad had six goals, seven points, 25 PIM and 73 hits in 35 outings with St. Louis in 2025-26 before the trade. He'll probably be limited to a bottom-six role with the Devils, but that might still result in him getting more ice time than the 11:38 he averaged with the Blues this season.

Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Expected starter for Thursday
Hill is expected to start at home against Los Angeles on Thursday, per Jesse Granger of The Athletic.
Akira Schmid is set to play between the pipes in Wednesday's home game against Vancouver before Hill gets the nod Thursday. The 29-year-old Hill will attempt to get back into the win column after going 0-2-1 while allowing 14 goals on 81 shots (.827 save percentage) across his past three outings. He has a 3-3-3 record, 3.51 GAA and .856 save percentage in 11 appearances in 2025-26. The Kings have struggled over their past 25 games, going 9-9-7 while averaging just 2.40 goals per game. Golden Knights' Akira Schmid: Leaves ice first
Schmid was the first goalie off the ice Wednesday, SinBin.vegas reports, indicating he'll guard the cage at home versus Vancouver.

Kraken's Berkly Catton: On injured reserve
Catton (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday.
Oscar Fisker Molgaard was recalled from the minors in a corresponding move. Catton has five goals and 11 points in 40 appearances in 2025-26. The 20-year-old Catton was already expected to be out until after the Olympic break, so moving him to IR doesn't impact his timetable.

Nicolas Deslauriers LW | CAR
Flyers' Nicolas Deslauriers: Earns first point of season
Deslauriers recorded an assist, three hits and two PIM in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Capitals.
Deslauriers' helper came on a Carl Grundstrom goal in the second period. Deslauriers earned his first point to go with 12 shots on net, 76 hits and 26 PIM, over 21 appearances this season. His struggles on offense have often left him out of the lineup, and one assist is unlikely to change his status as a rotational depth player.
