Flyers' Travis Konecny: Supplies two helpers
Konecny notched two assists in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Capitals.
This was Konecny's fourth straight multi-point effort. He has five goals and four assists in that span, and he's earned a power-play helper in each of the last two games. For the season, the 28-year-old winger has been steady with 22 goals, 32 assists, 10 power-play points, 122 shots on net, 71 hits, 45 PIM and a plus-9 rating over 54 appearances. Spencer Knight G | CHI
Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Starting against Columbus
Knight will defend the road crease against Columbus on Wednesday, Jack Bushman of Chicago Hockey Now reports.
Knight returned to the win column Monday against the Sharks, and he'll draw a third consecutive start during the Blackhawks' final game before the Olympic break. Over 11 starts since the beginning of January, he's gone 6-4-1 with a 2.59 GAA and .906 save percentage. He made a home start against the Blue Jackets on Friday and turned aside 22 of 25 shots (.880 save percentage) in a 4-2 loss.

Jack Hughes C | NJ
Devils' Jack Hughes: Remains unavailable against Isles
Hughes (lower body) will not be an option versus the Islanders on Thursday, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports.
Hughes will miss his third straight game, as the medical staff doesn't feel comfortable giving him the green light yet. His availability for the 2026 Winter Olympics is unclear, but he remains day-to-day. Before getting hurt, the 24-year-old center was rolling offensively with 12 points in his last 11 games, including one goal and five helpers with the man advantage.

Carl Grundstrom RW | PHI
Flyers' Carl Grundstrom: Nets goal in win
Grundstrom scored a goal on two shots and added three hits in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Capitals.
Grundstrom had been a healthy scratch for the previous two games, but he bumped Garnet Hathaway out of the lineup Tuesday. The 28-year-old Grundstrom has had some good stretches this season, but he has just two points, 12 shots and 43 hits over 13 outings since the start of January. Overall, the winger is at eight goals, two helpers, 31 shots on net, 79 hits, 15 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating through 26 contests.

Tim Washe C | ANA
Ducks' Tim Washe: Reassigned to AHL
Washe was reassigned to AHL San Diego on Wednesday.
Washe has a goal and two points in 13 outings with Anaheim in 2025-26. The Ducks don't have any remaining games before the Olympic break, so this will give Washe a chance to continue to play while the NHL team is off. The 24-year-old also has 13 goals and 25 points in 30 outings with San Diego this campaign.

Jamie Drysdale D | PHI
Flyers' Jamie Drysdale: Strikes on power play in win
Drysdale scored a power-play goal on two shots and blocked four shots in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Capitals.
Drysdale ended a 20-game goal drought with his third-period tally, which stood as the game-winner. The defenseman had seven assists and a minus-10 rating during that span. Drysdale is up to four goals, 22 points (five on the power play), 61 shots on net, 59 blocked shots and a minus-7 rating over 52 appearances. He has a chance to take a run at the 30-point mark for just the second time in his career.

Trevor van Riemsdyk D | WAS
Capitals' Trevor van Riemsdyk: Gathers helper Tuesday
Van Riemsdyk logged an assist and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Flyers.
Van Riemsdyk has played in eight straight games, largely a product of the Capitals having dealt with some injuries on the blue line. He snapped an 11-game point drought with his helper on an Anthony Beauvillier goal in the third period. Van Riemsdyk is up to seven points, 24 shots on net, 62 blocked shots, 16 PIM and a minus-5 rating across 44 outings this season, mainly in a third-pairing role.

Nikolas Matinpalo D | OTT
Senators' Nikolas Matinpalo: Seeing little playing time
Matinpalo was scratched for the 16th time in 18 games in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Hurricanes.
That span is from the start of January. Matinpalo sat just once during December, but Jordan Spence has claimed a larger share of playing time since the calendar flipped to 2026. Matinpalo has earned four assists, 19 shots on net, 27 hits, 33 blocked shots and 10 PIM over 30 NHL outings this season. The 27-year-old defenseman could get an uptick in usage while representing Finland at the Olympics, though the national team has six other NHL-level blueliners on the roster as well.

Devin Cooley G | CGY
Flames' Devin Cooley: Guarding crease against Oilers
Cooley will be in goal at home versus Edmonton on Wednesday, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports
Cooley has a three-game losing streak despite posting a decent 2.34 GAA over that stretch. While the backstop's ratios have been solid this season -- a 2.22 GAA and .921 save percentage in 18 outings -- he's not getting enough work to make him a strong fantasy candidate outside of some spot starts.

Stephen Halliday C | OTT
Senators' Stephen Halliday: Tallies in loss
Halliday scored a goal, doled out three hits and added two PIM in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Hurricanes.
Halliday opened the scoring at 2:46 of the first period. The 23-year-old is carving out a regular spot on the fourth line with four goals and an assist over his last six outings during his most recent call-up from the AHL. Overall, he's earned 11 points, 26 shots on net, 28 hits and a plus-1 rating in 24 appearances despite averaging 8:10 of ice time.
