Henry rushed 18 times for 84 yards and a touchdown and secured his only target for 12 yards in the Ravens' 26-23 loss to the Raiders on Sunday.
Henry's afternoon was highlighted by a 29-yard run, and he grinded out 55 yards on his other 17 totes. One of those was a three-yard touchdown run early in the fourth quarter, his second score in as many games in a Ravens uniform. Henry has yet to hit the 20-carry mark with his new squad, but he'll hope to take advantage of a Cowboys defense that surrendered four total touchdowns to the Saints' Alvin Kamara when he faces them in a Week 3 road matchup.

Henry rushed 13 times for 46 yards and a touchdown and failed to catch either of his two targets in the Ravens' 27-20 loss to the Chiefs on Thursday.
Henry was featured on his first regular-season drive as a Raven, taking the first touch of the night from scrimmage for a two-yard run and eventually capping off the opening possession with a five-yard touchdown rush for the first points of the new season. The veteran offseason addition was sparsely utilized after that point, however, logging only eight more carries the rest of the way, in part due to game script. Henry did resemble the explosive power back he established himself as over the last several seasons in Tennessee, but a much better picture of where he fits within Baltimore's offense will become clearer in games in which he can handle a much more conventional workload.

Ravens' Derrick Henry: Set for lead role in team debut

Henry is set to lead Baltimore's backfield Thursday against the Chiefs, despite not playing in the preseason, Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site reports.
Henry will be making his Ravens debut Thursday, and Baltimore understandably didn't want to add any unnecessary tread to the 30-year-old running back's tires during the preseason after he handled 1,529 regular-season carries over the past five years with the Titans, leading the NFL in rushing attempts four times in that span. Justice Hill should fill a change-of-pace role behind Henry on Thursday in a Baltimore backfield that may not have any other options with Keaton Mitchell (knee) on the PUP list and Rasheen Ali (neck) listed as doubtful.

The Ravens have nothing to gain by exposing their lead back to injury during exhibition play, so he won't be back on the field for a game until Week 1 against the Chiefs. In the meantime, Rasheen Ali, Owen Wright and Chris Collier should have opportunities to make cases for depth slotting behind Henry and Justice Hill.

Henry is signing a two-year contract with the Ravens, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
It's a match that's been rumored all offseason, after the Ravens infamously attempted just six RB carries in an AFC Championship Game loss to Kansas City. For Henry, it'll be the first change of scenery in his pro career, following an eight-year stint with the Titans that featured five 1,000-yard rushing seasons, including three over 1,500 and one over 2,000. He led the league with 280 carries in 2023 and hit pay dirt 12 times, though he averaged a career-low 4.17 yards per attempt while ceding nearly half of Tennessee's backfield snaps to rookie Tyjae Spears. There's reason to believe the 30-year-old's YPC mark will rebound with the move to Baltimore, where he'll have superior QB play and likely a better offensive line. Henry's contract reportedly has a base value of $16 million over two years, with $9 million guaranteed and then another $4 million available via incentives.

Titans' Derrick Henry: Likely to leave Titans

Henry doesn't seem likely to stay with the Titans, though GM Ran Carthon suggested Tuesday that the team will at least have conversations about re-signing the running back, ESPN's Turron Davenport reports.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Monday that none of the big-name RBs eligible for free agency in March are expected to receive franchise tags, including Henry. New Titans coach Brian Callahan has expressed interest in re-signing the back, but Henry's stated emphasis on winning a Super Bowl could cause him to look elsewhere than Tennessee.

New Titans coach Brian Callahan suggested Friday that he'd like to work with Henry, who is scheduled for unrestricted free agency this offseason, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports. "A player like [Henry' fits into any offense," Callahan said. "If he's open to a return, that fits for us. I'm never going to reject good players. "
The hiring of a head coach that previously served as offensive coordinator for the pass-first Bengals has been taken by some as a(nother) sign Henry is likely to leave Tennessee. Callahan does have a point, however, in part because Henry is probably a better receiver and blocker than he gets credit for. The two other big factors here are: A) money, and B) the possibility Henry wants to play for a team with better Super Bowl odds in 2024. He turned 30 at the beginning of January, three days before running for 153 yards and a touchdown in a 28-20 win over Jacksonville. It was Henry's fourth 100-yard game of the season, boosting his per-carry average to 4.2 yards and allowing him to finish second in the league in rushing yardage (1,167).

In what is likely to be his final game as a Titan, Henry delivered a vintage performance to help the team to an upset win. His longest gain of the day went for 69 yards on a run up the middle, which set up a touchdown to DeAndre Hopkins two plays later. Henry also took a trip to the end zone himself earlier in the contest, ripping off an 18-yard run off the left end for his 12th touchdown of the year. The Texans haven't allowed a running back to rush for more than 56 yards in their past five games, including meetings with Travis Etienne, Javonte Williams, Breece Hall, Henry and Jerome Ford. And only Ford and Kareem Hunt scored touchdowns over that span. It's tough to bench Henry, but if he doesn't score this week then his stat line will be minimal. And Henry is averaging just 10.1 PPR points per game in seven road outings this year.

Henry had 19 carries for 88 yards with a touchdown and one reception for 11 yards against Seattle on Sunday. He also completed his only pass attempt for a 12-yard touchdown in the 20-17 loss.
Henry rebounded quickly from his worst game of the season against Houston last week by scoring both of Tennessee's touchdowns in Sunday's narrow loss to Seattle. The 29-year-old got a stagnant Titans offense going in the first quarter when he lined up out of the gun and threw his second passing touchdown of the season. Henry has provided fantasy managers with at least two touchdowns in four out of his last five contests. The star tailback will seek vengeance in a rematch against next Sunday against the Texans, who held Henry to 10 yards on 20 combined touches in Week 15.

Henry's workload has definitely been in line with predicted game scripts but circumstances and a poor O-line have really altered his statistical results. Henry remains a big part of Tennessee's offense and is their plow horse at the goal line (most of the time). But the line in front of him has been terrible in his past two games, and their inability to create space has made Henry slower to read and react before defenders tee off on him. I don't think there's much doubt that Henry will see a good amount of work again this week in what should be a fairly close game. The Seahawks have allowed 4.8 yards per carry in their past five, though three of those games were against the Eagles and two against the Niners -- teams with good O-lines. I'd still veer toward Henry as a No. 2 RB for his touchdown upside, but not with the same upside as he had even three weeks ago. I'd start him over Chuba Hubbard, D'Andre Swift and Aaron Jones, but I'd rather start James Conner and David Montgomery.

I started the week not liking Henry after his terrible performance against the Texans in Week 15 when he had 16 carries for 9 yards and four catches for 1 yard on four targets. But this should be a bounce-back spot for him against Seattle at home. Henry is 116 rushing yards away from the fifth 1,000-yard season in his career, and I'm sure Mike Vrabel will want to get Henry that milestone at home. He also has just two home games left this year with Jacksonville in Week 18, and Henry might be done in Tennessee after this season since he'll be a free agent. The Seahawks are also playing on the road after a Monday night game, so we could see a tired defense, and a running back has scored at least 12.9 PPR points against Seattle in seven of the past eight games, with nine running backs hitting that mark over that span. I still like Henry as a No. 2 running back in all leagues with this matchup.

Henry saw plenty of opportunity -- he earned at least 20 touches for the fourth time in his last eight games -- but that was the end of the good news. Henry should have a chance to bounce back in Week 16 against a Seahawks defense that has been susceptible to opposing rushing attacks this season.

In three games this year when the Titans have lost by two-plus scores, Henry has averaged 10.7 attempts and 27.3 rushing yards per game and a miserable 3.5 PPR points per game. It's the only game script that might/should tank Henry's numbers -- in Titans wins and one-score losses Henry has averaged really good Fantasy numbers, though much of them are because he scores. The Dolphins run defense is giving up 4.1 yards per carry, but 3.9 in its past four. It has allowed six rushing touchdowns all year, none in its past five games. If the game isn't as close as the oddsmakers have made it out to be (13.5-point spread), then Henry's going to have a tough game. I would rather start upside plays in Keaton Mitchell, Chuba Hubbard and Jerome Ford.

The Dolphins are No. 6 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs, and Miami has recently held D'Andre Swift (10.5 PPR points), Rhamondre Stevenson (7.0 PPR points), Isiah Pacheco (6.6 PPR points), Josh Jacobs (6.1 PPR points) and Breece Hall (11.9 PPR points) to minimal stat lines. The Dolphins also haven't allowed a rushing touchdown to a running back since Week 7. The game script for Henry could be bad this week with the Dolphins favored at home by nearly two touchdowns. In games where the Titans have lost by more than eight points, which has happened three times, Henry has scored 5.4 PPR points or less in each outing. This could be a bad week to trust Henry in the majority of leagues.

Henry didn't return to Sunday's 31-28 overtime loss to the Colts after exiting in the fourth quarter to be checked for a concussion, and Adam Schefter of ESPN reported after the game concluded that the running back was following the protocol. A day later, however, Vrabel said that Henry won't be subject to the protocol ahead of the Titans' Week 14 game against the Dolphins in Miami, with the coach noting that the three-time Pro Bowler felt fine after going through a workout Monday and hasn't been exhibiting any symptoms of a concussion. Assuming Henry doesn't experience any setbacks within the next few days, he should be ready to return to the field as a full participant when the Titans resume practicing Thursday. Before departing the loss to Indianapolis, Henry turned in a quality outing for fantasy managers, carrying 21 times for 102 yards and two touchdowns while adding an 18-yard reception on two targets.

It wasn't quite a vintage performance from Henry, but he nonetheless powered the Titans' offense. He tallied long gains of 18 and 15 yards and also found the end zone from one and 10 yards away. It was a needed bounce-back effort for Henry, as he entered Sunday's contest with only 238 rushing yards across his last four games combined. It was also his first multi-touchdown performance of the season, bringing his total to six on the campaign.
