Lions' Emmanuel Moseley: Out indefinitely with torn pec
Rotowire
Moseley (pectoral) suffered a torn pec during Tuesday's practice and is out indefinitely, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Moseley continues to deal with brutal injury luck, after having suffered torn ACLs in each of the last two seasons. The Lions re-signed him on a one-year prove-it contract this offseason, but Moseley's status is now up in the air for the 2024 season. Last year, C.J. Gardner-Johnson (shoulder) suffered a torn pectoral in September while a member of the Lions, and he wasn't able to retake the field until January. Moseley hasn't been given a recovery timetable but doesn't seem likely to be available Week 1 versus the Rams.

Lions' Emmanuel Moseley: Could return Week 5
Rotowire
Moseley (knee) practiced in full Friday and is questionable for Sunday's Week 5 contest at home against the Panthers.
Moseley logged a trio of limited practices Week 4 but didn't play in a Thursday contest against the Packers. He began this week with another pair of limited sessions before he was able to progress to full practice participation Friday. Moseley thus seems to have a good chance to play Sunday against Carolina, which would be his first game action since he tore the ACL and MCL in his left knee in Week 5 last year.

Lions' Emmanuel Moseley: Could miss start of season
Rotowire
Moseley (knee) is still without a timetable to return this season, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Moseley reported to camp late after undergoing a clean-up procedure on his knee and remains on the team's active/PUP list. He was originally expected to be ready Week 1 and took part in walkthrough drills during minicamp. However, the 27-year-old doesn't want to comment on what caused his setback, stating, "I don't want to go deeper into kind of what happened or whatever, but just know right now I'm feeling pretty good." When asked if he might be ready by the season opener, he added, "I'm not going to throw no numbers out there or a timeline, but if you see me out, just know I'll be very excited." Moseley is expected to play a key role in the Lions secondary this season, but he'll need to get healthy first, and it still remains unclear when that will be.
