  • Chargers' Will Dissly: Scores touchdown in win

Dissly caught four of his six targets for 80 yards and a touchdown in the 27-17 win over the Bengals on Sunday. It's officially time to take notice. Sunday marked the fifth time in the past six weeks Dissly has tallied six or more targets, and during that stretch he's led the team in targets on three separate occasions. The extra attention hasn't helped the seventh-year veteran tally a ton of additional production, but by pushing out Hayden Hurst as the team's pass-catching tight end, Dissly is playing enough consistently to warrant fantasy attention. A month-long stretch against porous defenses versus the pass, starting first with the Ravens in Week 12, also adds value to his burgeoning fantasy profile.

  • Chargers' Will Dissly: Sleeper TEs

Dissly has scored at least 8.0 PPR points in three of his past four games, and he has at least six targets in three games over that span. In Week 10 against Tennessee, Justin Herbert attempted only 18 passes, but six of them went to Dissly, who finished with five catches for 30 yards. This week, Dissly is facing a Bengals defense that is No. 4 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends. He has top-10 upside if Herbert continues to lean on Dissly in Week 11.

  • Chargers' Will Dissly: Sleepers (Start/Sit)

Dissly has scored at least 8.0 PPR points in three of his past four games, and he has at least six targets in three games over that span. In Week 10 against Tennessee, Justin Herbert attempted only 18 passes, but six of them went to Dissly, who finished with five catches for 30 yards. • Chargers' Will Dissly: Week 11 Waiver Priority List

Dissly has scored at least 8.0 PPR points in three of his past four games, and he just had six targets in Week 10 against Tennessee in a game where Justin Herbert threw the ball 18 times. Dissly also has a great matchup in Week 11 against the Bengals, who are No. 3 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends. He's worth adding in all leagues for up to 5 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Chargers' Will Dissly: Leads team in targets, receptions

Dissly caught five of his six targets for 30 yards in the 27-17 win over the Titans on Sunday. Dissly led the team in targets and receptions, but he was effectively just a checkdown option in a game in which the Chargers attempted just 18 passes total. The seventh-year veteran does seem to have pushed Hayden Hurst out of the pass-catching tight end platoon role, as Hurst played just eight snaps for a second consecutive week. The lack of volume in the Los Angeles pass attacking will limit Dissly's fantasy production most weeks.

  • Chargers' Will Dissly: Targeted three times in win

Dissly caught two of his three targets for nine yards in Sunday's 27-10 win over the Browns. Dissly led all Chargers tight ends in playing time Sunday, logging 39 of 57 offensive snaps in the contest. Fellow tight ends Eric Tomlinson and Hayden Hurst played 16 and eight snaps, respectively. Dissly's nine yards accounted for his lowest mark of the season, and was especially disappointing after he had produced a 13-122-0 receiving line on 18 targets across the previous two contests. Hurst missed both of those games with a groin injury, and though Hurst isn't expected to handle a major role moving forward, his return to action in Week 9 looks as though it could suppress Dissly's snap and target counts moving forward.

  • Chargers' Will Dissly: Good to go against Browns

Dissly (shoulder) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Browns after practicing without limitations Friday. The same applies to fellow tight end Hayden Hurst (groin) -- who has missed two straight games -- so Dissly could lose some volume in Week 9 after racking up 18 targets in Weeks 7 and 8. In that context, he profiles as a hit-or-miss fantasy option, especially with wideouts Ladd McConkey, Quentin Johnston (who had missed back-to-back contests) and Joshua Palmer slated to play Sunday.

  • Chargers' Will Dissly: Back at practice

Dissly (shoulder) returned to a limited practice Thursday, Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site reports. After missing practice Wednesday, Dissly is trending in the right direction ahead of Sunday's game against the Browns. The same goes for fellow tight end Hayden Hurst (groin) -- who has missed two straight games -- but practiced fully Thursday. Friday's injury report will reveal whether Dissly carries an injury designation into the weekend, but the looming return of Hurst could cost Dissly (who has logged 18 targets over his last two games) some volume in Week 9.

  • Chargers' Will Dissly: Week 9 Waiver Priority List

Dissly has become a viable weapon for the Chargers in the past two games with 18 targets, and he scored at least 9.1 PPR points over that span against the Cardinals and Saints. We'll see if this continues, but Dissly is worth adding in deeper leagues for 1 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Chargers' Will Dissly: Active versus New Orleans

Dissly (shoulder) is listed as active for Sunday's game versus the Saints. After returning to a limited practice Friday, Dissly approached the contest listed as questionable. With his Sunday availability confirmed and fellow TE Hayden Hurst (groin) inactive, Dissly -- who caught eight of his 11 targets for 81 yards in the Chargers' 17-15 loss to the Cardinals this past Monday -- offers a lineup option for those in need of tight-end help in Week 8.

  • Chargers' Will Dissly: Misses second straight practice

Dissly (shoulder) didn't take part in Thursday's practice, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports. Dissly appeared on the Chargers' Week 7 injury report due to the same shoulder issue, but after logging a limited practice Thursday he put in full practices Friday and Saturday to clear the way for him to suit up Monday against the Cardinals. He proceeded to turn in a season-best line (eight catches for 81 yards on 11 targets) in the 17-15 win, but his shoulder injury may have worsened at some point along the way. Dissly has now been a spectator for both of the Chargers' first Week 8 practices, so he may need to participate in some capacity Friday to have a chance at playing Sunday versus the Saints.

  • Chargers' Will Dissly: Sidelined to begin Week 8 prep

Dissly (shoulder) did not participate in Wednesday's practice session, Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site reports. Dissly is coming off a breakout performance against the Cardinals on Monday, when he recorded a career-high eight receptions (on 11 targets) for 81 yards. He was Justin Herbert's favorite target in the absence of wideout Quentin Johnston (ankle), but Dissly is still working through a shoulder injury that limited him in practice leading up to Monday's contest. Dissly will have two more chances to increase his practice activity ahead of the Chargers' Week 8 matchup with the Saints on Sunday.

  • Chargers' Will Dissly: Week 8 Waiver Priority List

Dissly took advantage of Hayden Hurst (groin) and Quentin Johnston (ankle) being out for the Chargers in Week 7 at Arizona with eight catches for 81 yards on 11 targets. He now has 16 targets in his past two games, and Fantasy managers in deeper leagues might want to add Dissly to see what happens moving forward, especially in a favorable matchup with the Saints. He's worth 1 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Chargers' Will Dissly: Breakout performance in loss

Dissly secured eight of 11 targets for 81 yards in the Chargers' 17-15 loss to the Cardinals on Monday. Dissly led the Chargers in receptions, receiving yards and targets in what may have been his best all-around career performance. He had memorably recorded a 3-105-1 line in his NFL debut back in Week 1 of the 2018 season with the Seahawks, but the veteran was much more productive with respect to catches Monday night and was a key target for Justin Herbert throughout the game. Dissly had topped out at four catches and 29 yards in terms of single-game highs this season, however, and Monday night's volume was aided by the absences of WR Quentin Johnston (ankle) and, to a lesser extent, TE Hayden Hurst (groin). Dissly's first opportunity to build on Monday night's breakout comes in a Week 8 home matchup against the Saints.

  • Chargers' Will Dissly: Logs limited practice

Dissly (shoulder) was listed as limited on Thursday's practice estimate. Dissly now has two more chances to upgrade his practice participation ahead of Monday night's contest against the Cardinals. Meanwhile, fellow TE Hayden Hurst (groin) didn't practice Thursday, and if Hurst is unavailable versus Arizona, Dissly, assuming he plays, would be in line to see added Week 7 opportunities.

  • Chargers' Will Dissly: Snares four receptions

Dissly caught four of his five targets for 26 yards in the 23-17 win over the Broncos on Sunday. Tight end platoon mate Hayden Hurst left the game in the first half due to a groin injury, allowing Dissly to tally season highs in route share and targets. Eric Tomlinson and Stone Smartt also played in the absence of Hurst, so it's not as if Dissly will get complete command of the tight end room if Hurst does miss time, but Los Angeles' limited passing tree could involve the Seattle transplant a bit more in the event Hurst misses more time.

  • Chargers' Will Dissly: Secures two catches in loss

Dissly caught two of his three targets for 24 yards in the 17-10 loss to Kansas City on Sunday. Hayden Hurst saw the bigger side of the tight end platoon this week, tallying 35 snaps compared to Dissly's 20, but it was the latter who had the marginally better fantasy day. Neither tight end is in a viable fantasy situation given the Chargers' preference to run the ball and rely on their defense to keep games close.

  • Chargers' Will Dissly: Three grabs against Panthers

Dissly caught all three of his targets for 29 yards in Sunday's 26-3 win over the Panthers. Dissly led all Chargers tight ends in catches Sunday while playing three fewer offensive snaps than teammate Hayden Hurst. The veteran did not produce much with his opportunities, and he'll likely continue to struggle to produce for fantasy purposes on a run-first team with several tight ends. Dissly and the Chargers are set to square off against the Steelers in Week 3.

  • Chargers' Will Dissly: One catch in win

Dissly caught his lone target for 13 yards in Sunday's 22-10 win over the Raiders. Dissly operated as the Chargers' second tight end in the contest, playing 25 of 57 offensive snaps Sunday. Teammate Hayden Hurst, however, was more involved in the game plan, as he played 35 snaps and saw three targets from quarterback Justin Herbert. If this type of usage were to continue, it would be difficult to trust Dissly to produce consistently for fantasy purposes. The veteran will have his next opportunity to be more involved in a Week 2 matchup against the Panthers.

  • Chargers' Will Dissly: Set to sign with Bolts

Dissly is slated to sign a three-year deal with the Chargers, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Pelissero relays that Dissly's pending contract is for $14 million, including $10 million guaranteed. With Gerald Everett in line to become a free agent, Dissly will bolster the Chargers' tight end corps in 2024, while providing the team with a reliable run-blocking option at the position. During the 2023 regular season, the 27-year-old recorded 17 catches (on 22 targets) for 172 yards and a touchdown over 16 games with the Seahawks, who he joined as a fourth-round draft pick in 2018.
