    James re-signed with the Raiders on Sunday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. James' new contract is for three years and worth $24 million with $16 million guaranteed, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. The 26-year-old has spent the last five seasons with the Franchise and is now set to add a sixth to his resume. James has been the team's starter at center in each of the last three seasons and should have the inside track for the role again in 2024.

He was unable to participate in walkthroughs this week and he's set to miss his first game of the year. Dylan Parham moved from left guard to center for James in Sunday's loss and could reprise that role for Thursday's game.
