    The Steelers re-signed Otomewo to a one-year contract Monday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Otomewo appeared in 12 regular-season games with Pittsburgh last season, logging nine tackles (five solo) across 173 defensive snaps and another 24 on special teams. He'll compete for a roster spot this offseason.

    Otomewo (calf) is not listed on Wednesday's injury report. Otomewo was inactive for Jacksonville's narrow loss to Green Bay in Week 8, but it looks like he's now returned to full health. He'll look to resume handling a depth role on the road versus Philadelphia on Sunday.

    Otomewo was waived by the Vikings on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Otomewo appeared in five games with Minnesota last season after the team selected him in the fifth round of the 2022 Draft. The 24-year-old missed part of camp while in concussion protocols which could have hampered his effort toward staying on board in 2023.
