  • Bears' Cole Kmet: TEs to Sit

I started the week encouraged by Kmet since he played a season-high 97 percent of the snaps in the first game under new offensive coordinator Thomas Brown in Week 11 against Green Bay. But he only had three catches for 42 yards on three targets against the Packers, and the matchup against the Vikings isn't ideal. Minnesota has only allowed two touchdowns to tight ends all season and none since Week 4, and only one tight end has scored more than 4.5 PPR points against the Vikings in their past five games.

  • Bears' Cole Kmet: Week 12 Waiver Priority List

Kmet had another quiet game in Week 11 against Green Bay with three catches for 42 yards on three targets, but he did play a season-high 97 percent of the snaps in the first game under new offensive coordinator Thomas Brown. If that continues then more production should follow, and I don't mind taking a chance on Kmet in deeper leagues for 1 percent of your remaining FAB heading into Week 12 against Minnesota.

  • Bears' Cole Kmet: Tallies three catches Sunday

Kmet hauled in all three targets for 42 yards during Sunday's 20-19 loss to the Packers. QB Caleb Williams experienced a bounceback Week 11 against a Green Bay defense that often put up little resistance, and the Bears' top three wide receivers all earned at least seven targets. Meanwhile, Kmet again remained mostly quiet as he has since the Bears' Week 7 bye, putting together a cumulative 6-69-0 line on eight targets over the last four games. This may be the status quo moving forward for the fifth-year pro, and his next chance to produce will arrive next Sunday versus the Vikings.

  • Bears' Cole Kmet: TEs to Sit

Kmet has combined for 7.7 PPR points in his past three games against Washington, Arizona and New England heading into Week 11 against the Packers, and he has five targets, three catches and 27 yards with no touchdowns over that span. Green Bay is actually a favorable matchup at No. 10 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends, and hopefully new offensive coordinator Thomas Brown will be good for Kmet. But until he proves himself to Fantasy managers again, Kmet should only be started in deeper leagues.

  • Bears' Cole Kmet: Another poor perfromance

Kmet caught two passes for 13 yards in the Bears' 19-3 loss to the Patriots on Sunday. After the Week 6 game, Kmet was one of the highest-scoring tight ends in fantasy. Since the Bears' Week 7 bye, the tight end has accounted for three catches and 27 yards over three games. Despite the early season success, Kmet will be a risky weekly fantasy option unless the Chicago offense gets back on track.

  • Bears' Cole Kmet: Sleeper TEs

Kmet is tough to trust, given his lack of production in the past two games. He has one catch for 14 yards on one target in his past two outings against Washington and Arizona, but this is a good matchup against the Patriots. New England has allowed a tight end to score a touchdown in each of the past two games against the Jets and Titans with Tyler Conklin and Nick Vannett, and both scored at least 11.3 PPR points. I would only consider using Kmet in deeper leagues, but he could have a bounce-back performance, given the matchup with the Patriots.

  • Bears' Cole Kmet: Not targeted in defeat

Kmet posted no stats in the Bears' 29-9 loss to the Cardinals on Sunday. During Weeks 3 through 6, Kmet was one of the highest scoring tight ends in the league. Since Chicago's Week 7 bye, the offense has been terrible. In the last two games, Kmet has one catch for 14 yards. Unless the Bears figure out their woes on offense, Kmet should be considered a boom-or-bust fantasy option.

  • Bears' Cole Kmet: TEs to Sit

Kmet has two games this season with at least 24 PPR points and four games with 6.7 PPR points or less. It's tough to trust him, especially when the Bears have a loaded receiving corps with D.J. Moore, Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze. The Cardinals have allowed one touchdown to a tight end all season, and only George Kittle in Week 5 and Will Dissly in Week 7 have scored more than 7.4 PPR points against Arizona this year.

  • Bears' Cole Kmet: Hot streak ends

Kmet caught a 14-yard pass on his only target in the Bears' 18-15 loss to the Commanders on Sunday. With Caleb Williams completing just 10 passes for 131 yards, there was not much production to go around for the Chicago pass catchers. The one target Kmet saw was the first time since Week 1 that the tight end had fewer than three targets. Aside from one game with 10 targets, Kmet is averaging three targets over his other six games. Due to the lack of consistent passes thrown to Kmet, the potential for a poor performance is always present.

  • Bears' Cole Kmet: TEs to Sit

Kmet scored 25.7 PPR points in Week 3 at Indianapolis, but he's been at 8.7 PPR points or less in every other game this season. It will be tough to trust him when all the receivers in Chicago are healthy, which is the case for D.J. Moore, Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze heading into Week 6 against Jacksonville in London. The Jaguars have allowed two touchdowns to tight ends this season, but Kmet isn't likely to get enough targets to warrant trusting him in Week 6.

  • Bears' Cole Kmet: Four targets in victory

Kmet caught three passes on four targets for 57 yards in the Bears' 36-10 win over the Panthers on Sunday. After doing little during the first two games of the season, Kmet has come alive over the past three contests. During that time, the tight end is averaging five catches and 63 yards. However, Kmet has just one big game on the season, so he should be viewed primarily as a solid-floor fantasy option.

  • Bears' Cole Kmet: Logs full practice Thursday

Kmet (knee) practiced fully Thursday. Kmet showed up on the Bears' first Week 5 practice report Wednesday as limited due to a knee injury, but he was able to handle a full allotment of reps one day later, effectively clearing him ahead of Sunday's game against the Panthers. Aside from a 10-97-1 showing on 11 targets Week 3 at Indianapolis, he's combined for eight catches (on nine targets) for 65 yards and no touchdowns in his other three outings this season.

  • Bears' Cole Kmet: Limited by knee injury

Kmet was a limited practice participant Wednesday due to a knee injury. Kmet handled a full workload in Sunday's 24-18 win over the Rams, playing 93 percent of snaps and catching all three of his targets for 34 yards. He's back to a near-every-down role after opening the season in a timeshare with Gerald Everett, and while a knee injury may limit Kmet's practice participation this week, his ability to do some work Wednesday suggests he's on track to play this Sunday against the Panthers.

  • Bears' Cole Kmet: Three catches in Week 4 win

Kmet caught three passes on three targets for 34 yards in the Bears' 24-18 win over the Rams on Sunday. After a 10-catch outburst against the Colts in Week 3, Kmet saw his workload reduce considerably with the return of Keenan Allen from a two-game absence due to a heel injury. Kmet did finish tied for second in receptions and as the runner-up in receiving yards on the afternoon for Chicago, but his production Sunday is likely to be much closer to the norm than what he was able to do in the aforementioned loss to Indianapolis.

  • Bears' Cole Kmet: TEs to Start

Even with Keenan Allen (heel) likely returning in Week 4, I would still take the chance on Kmet as a low-end starter in all leagues. He had a breakout performance in Week 3 against the Colts with 10 catches for 97 yards and a touchdown on 11 targets, and it would be a surprise if he just disappeared from the offense in Week 4 against the Rams. The Rams have also allowed three tight ends to score at least 8.5 PPR points this season.

  • Bears' Cole Kmet: Week 4 Waiver Priority List

We'll see what happens when Keenan Allen (heel) returns for the Bears, but Kmet looked great in Week 3 against the Colts with 10 catches for 97 yards and a touchdown on 11 targets. I hope he'll remain heavily involved in the offense even when Allen returns, but there will be a lot of mouths to feed for Chicago. For Week 4, I plan to start Kmet in all leagues against the Rams, and he's worth adding for 10-15 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Bears' Cole Kmet: Breaks out in Week 3

Kmet caught 10 of 11 targets for 97 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 21-16 loss to the Colts. After two quiet games to begin the season, Kmet started to click with rookie quarterback Caleb Williams in this one, capping his huge day with a six-yard score late in the fourth quarter as the Bears tried to mount a comeback. The tight end may have benefitted from the absence of Keenan Allen (heel) to monopolize intermediate routes, but if Williams is going to attempt 50-plus passes a game -- he went 33-for-52 for 363 yards Sunday -- there should be plenty of volume to go around even when all of Chicago's top targets are healthy. Kmet will look to keep rolling in Week 4 against the Rams.

  • Bears' Cole Kmet: TEs to Sit

Kmet could benefit if one or both of Rome Odunze (knee) or Keenan Allen (heel) are out, but I still can't trust Kmet as a starter in most Fantasy leagues in Week 2 at Houston. In Week 1 against Tennessee, Kmet only had one catch for 4 yards on one target, and Caleb Williams also struggled, passing for fewer than 100 yards. It would be great if Kmet saw a spike in targets if anyone is missing for Chicago's receivers, but I need to see him produce at a high level first before trusting him in most leagues.

  • Bears' Cole Kmet: TEs to Sit

If the preseason was any indication then Kmet's Fantasy value this season could be in trouble. He was sharing playing time with new addition Gerald Everett, which could continue all season in Shane Waldron's offense, and the Bears loaded up their receiving corps with Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze coming to Chicago. The Titans also upgraded their secondary this offseason, and Kmet isn't worth starting in most leagues in Week 1.

  • Bears' Cole Kmet: Rotates with Everett

Kmet caught his lone target for nine yards in Saturday's 27-3 preseason win over Cincinnati. Kmet and Gerald Everett rotated on the first-team offense for a second straight week, with the latter catching two of four targets for 10 yards in Saturday's win. Everett's involvement -- after signing a two-year, $12 million contract -- creates reasonable concerns about Kmet not matching his robust snap shares from the past three seasons, but Kmet could still take the lion's share of playing time once the games actually matter.
