  • Bears' D'Andre Swift: RBs to Start

The offensive line has let down everyone in Chicago due to injuries, and Swift suffered in Week 10 against New England with 16 carries for 59 yards and one catch for 6 yards on one target. It was his worst game since Week 3, but I expect him to rebound in Week 11 against the Packers. Shane Waldron was fired Tuesday as the offensive coordinator, and he was replaced by passing game coordinator Thomas Brown. Based on Brown's track record, Swift should become the focal point of the offense, and I hope he's more involved in the passing game. The Packers have allowed four of the past six opposing running backs to score at least 14.6 PPR points, and I like Swift as a No. 2 running back in all leagues in Week 11.

  • Bears' D'Andre Swift: Tough sledding in Week 10

Swift carried the ball 16 times for 59 yards and caught his only target for six yards in Sunday's 19-3 loss to the Patriots. The Bears came into the game missing both starting tackles on the offensive line and then saw left guard Teven Jenkins go down to an ankle injury in the first half, and the offense simply couldn't get anything going without consistent blocking. Rookie QB Caleb Williams took the worst of it, getting sacked nine times, but Swift also failed to average 4.0 yards a carry or get into the end zone for the third straight game. Unless the offensive line gets healthier, it will be tough to rely on any part of the Chicago offense heading into a Week 11 rivalry game against Green Bay.

  • Bears' D'Andre Swift: Totals 82 yards in loss

Swift rushed the ball 16 times for 51 yards in Sunday's 29-9 loss to the Cardinals. He added six receptions on six targets for 31 yards. Swift was bottled up as a runner throughout the game, as his longest gain went for just 13 yards and his 3.2 yards per carry were his lowest mark since Week 3. He did supplement that with six receptions to lead the team, though he worked exclusively in short areas of the field and had no explosive gains. Ultimately, Swift managed a fine performance based on volume, particularly given that the entire Chicago offense performed poorly.

  • Bears' D'Andre Swift: RBs to Start

Swift has scored at least 18.9 PPR points in four games in a row, and I'm shocked he's not started in 100 percent of leagues on CBS Sports. What more does he need to prove? He has a rushing touchdown in four games in a row, and he has 13 receptions on 13 targets over that span. The Cardinals are No. 6 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs, and seven running backs have scored at least 15.2 PPR points against Arizona this season, including De'Von Achane and Raheem Mostert in Week 8.

  • Bears' D'Andre Swift: Excellent performance in loss

Swift rushed the ball 18 times for 129 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 18-15 loss to the Commanders. Chicago's offense was sluggish coming out of its bye, and Swift was no exception as he managed only 10 carries for 31 yards at halftime. He got things rolling in the final two quarters, however, highlighted by a 56-yard touchdown late in the third quarter as well as a 22-yard scamper early in the fourth quarter. With the performance, Swift topped 100 yards on the ground for the first time this season and now has taken a trip to the end zone in four straight contests.

  • Bears' D'Andre Swift: RBs to Start

I'm hopeful that Swift stays hot coming off his bye in Week 7, and he's worth starting as a No. 2 running back in all leagues. Prior to his bye, Swift had scored at least 20 PPR points in three games in a row against the Rams, Panthers and Jaguars. He had at least 21 total touches in each outing, and he scored a touchdown in each game, with a combined 13 catches on 13 targets. The Commanders have allowed five running backs to score at least 16.5 PPR points this season, and Washington has allowed three rushing touchdowns to Derrick Henry (two) and Chuba Hubbard in the past two weeks.

  • Bears' D'Andre Swift: Another productive effort in win

Swift rushed 17 times for 91 yards and a touchdown and brought in all four targets for 28 yards in the Bears' 35-16 win over the Jaguars on Sunday in London. He also committed a fumble recovered by Chicago. Swift continued to put the poor start to his Bears tenure firmly behind him Sunday with his second-highest rushing yardage total of the season. He also recorded a rushing touchdown for the third straight game when he went into the end zone from one yard out early in the fourth quarter. The veteran back extended his streak of games with multiple catches to five as well, sending him into a Week 7 bye with plenty of momentum. Swift will next take aim at a suspect Commanders defense on the road in a Week 8 matchup in Sunday, Oct. 27.

  • Bears' D'Andre Swift: RBs to Start

After three miserable games, Swift has been a star in the past two outings against the Rams and Panthers with at least 20 PPR points in each contest. He has 23 total touches in each game, and he's totaled at least 120 total yards and a touchdown both times. We'll see how long this lasts, but he has another favorable matchup in Week 6 against the Jaguars, who are No. 4 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs. Five running backs have scored at least 13.6 PPR points against Jacksonville, including Dare Ogunbowale and Trey Sermon in the past two games. Swift has top-10 upside in this game in London.

  • Bears' D'Andre Swift: Has 285 yards in last two games

Swift rushed 21 times for 73 yards and a touchdown while catching both of his targets for 47 yards in Sunday's 36-10 win over the Panthers. Swift had a one-yard touchdown run nullified by an illegal shift penalty in the second quarter and watched Roschon Johnson score from one yard out two plays later. Swift had another near-miss later in the first half when he was brought down on the 2-yard line at the end of a 42-yard catch, but this time he finished the drive off himself with a one-yard touchdown run two plays later. After posting 42 or fewer scrimmage yards in each of his first three games with the Bears, Swift has heated up with 285 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns over the last two games heading into a Week 6 matchup against the generous Jaguars defense in London.

  • Bears' D'Andre Swift: RBs to Start

I was wrong about Swift in Week 4 against the Rams, and he was dominant with his best game of the season by far. He had 16 carries for 93 yards and a touchdown and seven catches for 72 yards on seven targets for 29.5 PPR points. To put that in perspective, Swift had 19.4 PPR points combined in his first three games. I'm hopeful this is the caliber of play we'll get from Swift moving forward, and he has a great matchup in Week 5 against Carolina for an encore performance. The Panthers are No. 3 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs, and six running backs have scored at least 12.1 PPR points against Carolina this year. Swift is worth trusting as a No. 2 running back in all leagues.

  • Bears' D'Andre Swift: Best game of season Sunday

Swift rushed 16 times for 93 yards and a touchdown and brought in all seven targets for 72 yards in the Bears' 24-18 win over the Rams on Sunday. Mired in a forgettable three-game funk to open his Bears tenure, Swift consistently found more daylight right from the start of the game than he had during his first three contests. The versatile back eventually broke loose for his longest run of the season, a 36-yard touchdown scamper early in the fourth quarter. Swift added season highs in receptions and receiving yards for good measure, making it a fruitful afternoon by both real-life and fantasy football standards. With the lead-back role still clearly in his grasp, he next takes aim at the Panthers defense in a Week 5 home matchup.

  • Bears' D'Andre Swift: RBs to Sit

In three games this season, Swift has combined for 37 carries for 68 yards and six catches for 46 yards on 10 targets and no touchdowns. The Bears should start giving Roschon Johnson more work, and Swift can't be trusted even in favorable matchups. Until Swift looks like a capable running back in Chicago, he is no better than a flex option in the majority of leagues.

  • Bears' D'Andre Swift: RBs to Start

Swift has been a disaster so far through two games with the Bears. He's combined for 24 carries for 48 yards and four catches for 24 yards on six targets. He's had tough matchups against the Titans and Texans, but things should get better in Week 3 against the Colts. Indianapolis is without its best run-stopper in defensive tackle DeForest Buckner (ankle), who was placed on injured reserve. And the Colts have been absolutely abused through two games against Joe Mixon and Josh Jacobs, who have both rushed for at least 151 yards. Swift won't do that, and we'll see if Khalil Herbert gets more work moving forward, but I would gamble on Swift in this matchup as a No. 2 running back in all leagues.

  • Bears' D'Andre Swift: Two duds so far in CHI

Swift ran the ball 14 times for 18 yards and caught four of five targets for 24 yards in Sunday's primetime loss to the Texans. Swift has dominated the backfield touches in Chicago since signing with the team this past offseason. Unfortunately for his fantasy managers, the electric back has been grounded through two starts this season (2.0 YPC). In positive news, no other Chicago running back saw more than two carries or receptions in Sunday's lackluster offensive showing. Swift's next opportunity to prove his worth to his new club will come in the form of a road tilt against the Colts on Sunday.

  • Bears' D'Andre Swift: RBs to Sit

Swift was awful in Week 1 against the Titans with 10 carries for 30 yards, and half of his 10 attempts went for one or fewer yards. He also had no catches on one target. Things will hopefully improve in Week 2 at Houston, but the Texans just held Jonathan Taylor to 16 carries for just 48 yards and a touchdown and no catches. I need to see Swift to do something positive before trusting him, and he's a flex at best in most leagues for Week 2.

  • Bears' D'Andre Swift: Inefficient showing in CHI debut

Swift rushed the ball 10 times for 30 yards in Sunday's 24-17 win over the Titans. The game script didn't align for Swift to have a good game, as the Bears fell behind 17-3 by halftime and possessed the ball for only 25:07. He also wasn't impressive with the opportunity he received, as half of his 10 attempts went for one or fewer yards. Positively, Swift led the backfield as no other back on the roster saw more than two carries.

  • Bears' D'Andre Swift: RBs to Sit

I'm curious to see how the Bears use Swift in tandem with Khalil Herbert and potentially Roschon Johnson, but I would only consider Swift a flex at best in this matchup. The Titans finished last season No. 5 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs, and Tennessee should be tough up front against the run again. I'm hopeful Swift will be involved in the passing game, but Caleb Williams will also take some rushing opportunities to potentially limit Swift's upside.

  • Bears' D'Andre Swift: On track to play this weekend

Coach Matt Eberflus indicated Thursday that healthy starters (a group that would include Swift) are slated to play in Saturday's preseason contest against the Bills, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports. Swift was among the team's key players who didn't see action in last week's Hall of Fame Game, but the 25-year-old, who spent last season with Philadelphia, is poised to make his game debut in a Chicago uniform Saturday. In his lone campaign with the Eagles, Swift logged a team (and career) high 1,049 yards to go along with five TDs on 229 carries, while adding a career-low 39 catches (on 49 targets) for 214 yards and another score in 16 regular-season contests. Per Kevin Fishbainof The Athletic, Swift has demonstrated his ability as a receiver over the past few weeks in practice, and it's plausible that the 2020 second-rounder could see an uptick in catches this coming season, while leading a backfield that also includes Khalil Herbert, Roschon Johnson and Travis Homer.

  • Bears' D'Andre Swift: Preseason debut on hold

With the Bears slated to rest key starters in Thursday's Hall of Fame Game against the Texans, Swift is among the players not in line to see action in Chicago's preseason opener, wgntv.com reports. With the theme of starters resting, QB Caleb Williams, as well as WRs DJ Moore, Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze, are also players who aren't expected to see action Thursday. The Bears' second exhibition game will take place Aug. 10 against the Bills.

  • Bears' D'Andre Swift: Heading to Chicago

Swift and the Bears agreed to terms Monday on a three-year, $24 million contract, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports. It's the first major deal reported during the free-agent negotiating period and can't be made official until Wednesday afternoon. Swift figures to step in as the lead back for an offense with a new coordinator (Shane Waldron) and likely a new quarterback (Caleb Williams?), though he probably won't be a workhorse given that the Bears also have Khalil Herbert and 2023 fourth-round pick Roschon Johnson under contract. Herbert, in particular, is a threat to take a good chunk of the carries, as he's averaged 4.9 yards on 364 totes through three pro seasons. Herbert hasn't done much in the passing game -- 43 catches, 4.9 YPT -- and doesn't figure to get many chances there now that Swift is on the team.
