Loveland caught a crucial seven-yard pass from Caleb Williams on a fourth-down play late in the third quarter, which extended the Bears' drive and led to a four-yard touchdown run from Kyle Monangai five plays later. Loveland finished tied with Luther Burden and Rome Odunze for the team lead in targets Friday, and Loveland has seen at least five targets from Williams in four of the Bears' last six games. Loveland's role in head coach Ben Johnson's offense has increased since the Bears' Week 5 bye, and the rookie tight end will look to stay productive Week 14 against the Packers on Sunday, Dec. 7.

But this is a tough matchup for him in Week 13 at Philadelphia, and the Eagles are No. 2 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends. Only two tight ends have scored touchdowns against the Eagles this season, and Loveland is not worth starting in the majority of leagues in this game.

The upcoming schedule for Chicago is tough with Philadelphia, Green Bay, Cleveland and Green Bay in the next four games, but Loveland is becoming a bigger option in the passing game for the Bears, which is ideal. He should be considered a low-end starter in all leagues, and he's worth adding for 5 percent of your remaining FAB.
Loveland is probably more of a stash than a start, but he has been so good with the ball in his hands, we have to keep hoping the team will make him more of a full-time player. His 64.6% snap share was slightly disappointing last week, but he is awesome whenever they use him.

He's worth using as a low-end starter in all leagues in Week 10 against the Giants, who have allowed four games of at least 11.6 PPR points to opposing tight ends this season, including two in the past four weeks. Keep an eye on Cole Kmet (concussion), and if he's out then that's even better for Loveland. But Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson will hopefully continue to feature Loveland and allow him to build on his performance from Week 9.

The rookie put a thrilling cap on the wildest fourth quarter of the season, recording a 58-yard catch-and-run touchdown during which he bounced off a would-be tackler in the middle of the field and sprinted into the end zone with 17 seconds remaining. Loveland preceded that memorable play with a five-yard scoring grab in the first half of the third quarter, and the two catches served as the 2025 first-round pick's first pair of NFL touchdowns. Loveland's career-high reception, yardage and target totals were partly the result of Cole Kmet exiting the game with a concussion in the second quarter, but the former is clearly earning the right to more playing time by the week.

Following the Bears' Week 5 bye, Loveland had already noticed an uptick in snaps, handling a 51 percent share in a Week 6 win over the Commanders and a 41 percent share in the Week 7 win over the Saints.
