Kone was a sixth-round selection of the Ravens in the 2025 NFL Draft, but he spent his entire rookie season on injured reserve after tearing his MCL and ACL in a preseason game in early August. Kone got tangled up in coverage late in the first quarter of Thursday's game and appeared to suffer a serious knee injury. That suspicion was quickly confirmed, and Kone will now be sidelined for his entire rookie season.
Kone was ruled out of Thursday's preseason game with the Colts due to a knee injury.
There has been no official diagnosis of the injury, but Kone immediately fell to the ground in significant pain after making a play in coverage late in the first quarter. He was put in an air cast and carted off the field, so he appears likely to miss a significant period of time.

Kone was drafted by the Ravens in the sixth round of this year's draft. In his final season at Western Michigan, the 23-year-old recorded 66 tackles and one interception. The rookie cornerback will face an uphill battle to make a lasting impression, as it's unknown when he will make his return.
