  • Rams' Roger McCreary: Activated Monday

McCreary (hip) was activated from the injured reserve list Monday, Nate Atkins of The Athletic reports. The fourth-year pro from Auburn has missed the Rams' last four games due to a hip injury, but following a full practice Friday, he's set to return for Monday night's matchup against the Falcons. Since being dealt from the Titans to the Rams in late October, McCreary has appeared in four games and played just one defensive snap. Now fully healthy, he's expected to operate as one of the Rams' top slot corners in the Week 17 matchup.

  • Rams' Roger McCreary: Logs full practice Friday

McCreary (hip) was a full participant at practice Friday. McCreary has spent the last four games on the Rams' injured reserve list because of a hip injury he suffered in Week 12 versus the Buccaneers, but his activity at practice suggests he's nearing a return to game action. He'll still need to be officially activated from IR before that's technically possible, though.

McCreary (hip) was listed as a full participant on the Rams' estimated injury report Thursday, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports. McCreary is tracking towards making his return to practice after being designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday. The cornerback has been sidelined since suffering a hip injury in Week 12, and he appears to be on track to practice whenever Los Angeles holds an official session this week.

The Rams designated McCreary (hip) to return from injured reserve Wednesday. McCreary managed to practice for the first time Wednesday since sustaining a hip injury during the Week 12 win over the Buccaneers. The Rams will now have 21 days to officially activate the 25-year-old, and he should resume his role as a special teamer and reserve defender once fully healthy.

  • Rams' Roger McCreary: Dealt to Rams

The Rams acquired McCreary and a 2026 sixth-round pick from the Titans on Monday in exchange for a 2026 fifth-round pick, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. The fourth-year pro from Auburn made eight appearances (three starts) for the Titans in 2025 prior to being traded, recording 33 total tackles, including 1.0 sacks, and two passes defended, with one interception. McCreary is expected to help fortify a Rams secondary that's been solid through eight weeks, allowing just 208.3 passing yards per game. Once fully integrated into the defense, he's projected to start at slot corner, moving Quentin Lake into a reserve role.

  • Titans' Roger McCreary: Decreased production in 2024

McCreary registered 50 tackles (43 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and one pass defense over 15 regular-season games in 2024. The 2022 second-round pick logged at least 80 combined tackles and six pass defenses in each of his first two NFL regular seasons, but McCreary wasn't able to match that production in 2024. He started in 26 regular-season games over the first two years, but he was a starter in just six games in 2024 while serving as the Titans' nickel corner while L'Jarius Sneed (quadriceps), Jarvis Brownlee and Chidobe Awuzie served as the outside corners. McCreary will likely have a similar role in 2025 unless Tennessee make major changes to its personnel in the secondary.

  • Titans' Roger McCreary: Past shoulder injury

McCreary (shoulder) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports. McCreary has been sidelined for the Titans' last two games due to a shoulder injury he suffered against the Commanders in Week 13. His ability to practice in full Wednesday indicates that the third-year corner is on track to play against the Colts on Sunday. McCreary has accumulated 42 tackles (35 solo), including 1.0 sacks and one pass defense across 12 regular-season games.

McCreary (shoulder) is inactive for Sunday's game against Cincinnati. McCreary began the week with a pair of full practices, but he was limited Friday and isn't going to suit up Sunday. • Titans' Roger McCreary: Appears set to return Week 15

McCreary (shoulder) was a full participant in practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. McCreary suffered a shoulder injury Week 13 against Washington and didn't play this past Sunday against Jacksonville. However, his ability to participate without limitations to begin the practice week bodes well for his likelihood of returning to action Sunday against Cincinnati. If he does suit up for that contest, Jarvis Brownlee could see fewer snaps on defense.

  • Titans' Roger McCreary: Could return this week

Head coach Brian Callahan stated Monday that he is hopeful to have McCreary (shoulder) back this week, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports. McCreary missed the team's loss to the Jaguars on Sunday, but it looks like it could be just a one-game absence for the Auburn product. Whether he can suit up for Week 15 against the Bengals likely won't be determined until the end of the practice week.

  • Titans' Roger McCreary: Questionable for Week 12

McCreary (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Texans, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. The Titans are already again going to be without top CB L'Jarius Sneed (quadriceps), so losing McCreary would be another tough blow headed into a date with Nico Collins and Tank Dell. Jarvis Brownlee and Darrell Baker are expected to see heavy snaps in coverage.

  • Titans' Roger McCreary: Logs full practice Thursday

McCreary (knee) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. McCreary didn't practice Wednesday due to a knee issue, but that appears to have been a maintenance day as he was able to practice in full Thursday and should be good to go against the Vikings on Sunday. In the five games since Tennessee's Week 5 bye, McCreary has logged 13 tackles (11 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and one pass defense.

  • Titans' Roger McCreary: Team-high 10 tackles in win

McCreary recorded 10 tackles (nine solo) and one pass defense during Sunday's 24-22 win over the Raiders. McCreary led the team in tackles for a second straight game and has totaled 23 stops through the first three games of the season. The rookie second-round pick has played nearly every defensive snap for the Titans thus far, so he figures to continue putting up big numbers early in his career as long as he can stay healthy.
