Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Impressive primetime performance
Rotowire
St. Brown (ankle) brought in six of nine targets for 92 yards in the Lions' 44-30 win over the Cowboys on Thursday night.
The standout receiver's availability was in question leading up to game day due to the low-ankle sprain he'd suffered on Thanksgiving against the Packers, but St. Brown looked to be free of any limitations while making several noteworthy catches. St. Brown finished second in receptions and receiving yards on the night, while also tying Jameson Williams for the team lead in targets. The fifth-year pro also helped seal Detroit's win via his game-long 37-yard grab with under three minutes remaining, setting up Jahmyr Gibbs' 13-yard touchdown run on the next play. St. Brown has now exceeded 90 receiving yards on five occasions heading into a Week 15 road showdown against the Rams on Sunday, Dec. 14.

Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Status in question for Week 14
Rotowire
St. Brown (ankle) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Cowboys.
St. Brown departed in the first quarter of last Thursday's loss to the Packers and wasn't able to return due to an ankle injury. He was diagnosed with a low left-ankle sprain in the wake of the contest, and he proceeded to miss all three sessions of Week 14 prep. Despite the lack of activity this week, St. Brown still has a chance to play Thursday, with coach Dan Campbell telling Eric Woodyard of ESPN.com on Tuesday that "if he can play, he'll play." St. Brown added that his ankle "hurts, but it's getting better. So, that's the good news. Just day by day." If St. Brown isn't able to suit up, Jameson Williams will be the clear-cut top WR for the Lions, with Isaac TeSlaa, Tom Kennedy and Dominic Lovett also on hand for targets, as Kalif Raymond (ankle) has been ruled out.

Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Misses practice, iffy for Thursday
Rotowire
Lions head coach Dan Campbell said that St. Brown (ankle) won't practice Tuesday, but the wideout could still be available for Thursday's game against the Cowboys, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
St. Brown has yet to practice in any fashion since exiting early in the Lions' Thanksgiving Day loss to the Packers due to a left low-ankle sprain. Campbell acknowledged that the receiver's condition has improved since then and the Lions are leaving the door open for St. Brown to play Thursday, even though he would likely be operating at less than 100 percent. For his part, St. Brown told Birkett that he wants to go through a pregame workout to see how the injury affects his ability to cut and change directions before making a decision on whether he can play. If St. Brown is forced to miss his first game of the season, Tom Kennedy would likely step in as the primary replacement at slot receiver after he recorded four catches for 36 yards on four targets following St. Brown's departure in the loss to Green Bay.

Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Sits out practice Monday
Rotowire
St. Brown (ankle) didn't practice Monday.
As expected, St. Brown was idle to begin the practice week ahead of Thursday's game against the Cowboys. St. Brown was injured early in the first quarter of last Thursday's loss to the Packers and was diagnosed with a low-ankle sprain. If St. Brown is unable to play Week 14, Tom Kennedy would likely be the next man up as the slot receiver, but Jameson Williams should again be the biggest beneficiary in terms of target volume.

Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: May miss time due to ankle injury
Rotowire
Coach Dan Campbell said after Thursday's loss to the Packers that he doesn't believe St. Brown's ankle injury is a long-term concern, but he may miss only 1-to-2 games "if we're lucky," Colton Pouncy of The Athletic reports.
St. Brown wasn't able to return after he had his legs rolled up on by two Lions offensive linemen in the first quarter. Rotowire
St. Brown recorded nine receptions on 10 targets for 45 yards in Sunday's 30-17 loss to the Chiefs.
St. Brown maintained his role as Jared Goff's favorite target, but it was otherwise a tough showing for him. His longest catch of the day went for only 12 yards, and he also uncharacteristically dropped a pass on a key fourth-down attempt midway through the second quarter, which shifted the momentum of the game. This marked the first time since Week 1 that St. Brown has failed to reach 70 receiving yards, and he should bounce back in Week 7 in a matchup of high-powered offenses against Tampa Bay.

The 25-year-old shook his assignment with a double move in the third quarter to hit pay dirt for the fourth time this season. The star wideout also chipped in an assist that will not show up in the box score when he pitched the ball to Jahmyr Gibbs on a fourth-down option play that resulted in a touchdown for his teammate. St. Brown comfortably led the Lions in receptions and targets while edging Jameson Williams for the top spot in receiving yards as well. While his speedy teammate got that runner-up spot largely via a 64-yard chunk play, St. Brown chipped away at the Bears secondary throughout the afternoon with short and medium gains, including touchdown grabs of four, eight and four yards. The two-time All-Pro's breakout performance was a welcome departure from his modest 4-45-0 receiving line Week 1 against Green Bay, and St. Brown's contributions figure to be critical again when the Lions tackle the unenviable task of a road trip to Baltimore for a Week 3 Monday night showdown with the Ravens on Sept. 22.
