  • Chargers' Del'Shawn Phillips: Could play Sunday

Phillips (hamstring) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's wild-card matchup against the Patriots, Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site reports. The 29-year-old upgraded from a DNP on Wednesday to limited practice Friday, suggesting he's trending in the right direction ahead of Sunday's playoff contest. Phillips is a key special-teamer for the Chargers (352 special-teams snaps), recording 37 total tackles, including 1.0 sacks, over 17 appearances this season. If active for the wild-card matchup, he's expected to play a depth role in Los Angeles' linebacker corps while contributing on special teams.

  • Chargers' Del'Shawn Phillips: Cleared to play Week 18

Phillips (hamstring) is active for Sunday's game against the Broncos. Phillips was a late addition to Saturday's injury report due to a hamstring injury, but he has been cleared to play in Sunday's regular-season finale. He's mostly served on special teams this season, but given that the Chargers are locked into a wild-card spot for the AFC playoffs, he may see more defensive snaps in Week 18 if Daiyan Henley operates on a snap count.

  • Chargers' Del'Shawn Phillips: Pops up late on injury report

Phillips (hamstring) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Broncos, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports. Phillips has been healthy all season but must have picked up the injury late in the week during practice. He's primarily played on special teams this season, but the Chargers are projected to rest many of their starters. If Phillips, can suit up, he could be in line for a larger role as a result.

  • Chargers' Del'Shawn Phillips: Back at practice

Phillips (undisclosed) was activated off the active/PUP list by the Chargers on Monday. The linebacker was placed on the list in July around the start of training camp. Phillips signed with the Chargers in March after playing 363 special-teams snaps and 25 defensive snaps with the Texans during the 2024 regular season, making 16 total tackles (eight solo). The former Bill, Jet and Raven has predominantly played on special teams throughout his five-year NFL career.

Phillips (undisclosed) was placed on the active/PUP list Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Phillips joined the Chargers this offseason after spending 2024 in Houston. Assuming he's able to get back on the field, he'll serve almost exclusively in a special teams role.

  • Ravens' Del'Shawn Phillips: Officially out Sunday

Phillips (shoulder) has been ruled inactive ahead of Sunday's AFC Championship Game versus Kansas City. Phillips is dealing with a shoulder issue, and he was deemed doubtful to play on Friday's final injury report. The reserve linebacker now will miss his second playoff game in a row while tending to this injury. Phillips' absence will leave Baltimore without one of its core special teamers, as the 27-year-old logged 24 tackles while playing primarily on special teams across 17 appearances this season.

  • Ravens' Del'Shawn Phillips: Doubtful for Sunday

Phillips (shoulder) is listed as doubtful ahead of Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Chiefs. Despite a week of limited practice sessions, the 27-year-old is not expected to suit up in the AFC Championship Game due to a shoulder issue. Phillips has appeared in 17 games for Baltimore this season, recording 24 total tackles and primarily contributing on special teams.

  • Ravens' Del'Shawn Phillips: Inactive Saturday

Phillips (shoulder) will not play in Saturday's tilt against the Texans. Phillips injured his shoulder in the Ravens' regular-season finale versus the Steelers. It is severe enough to keep him sidelined two weeks later in the divisional-round game versus Houston. His absence is not expected to have an impact on the Ravens' defense, as he was primarily a depth option at linebacker.

  • Ravens' Del'Shawn Phillips: Could miss Week 17

Phillips (shoulder) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Dolphins. Phillips popped up on the Ravens' injury report as a non-participant in Thursday's practice, and his chances to play Sunday seem to be getting slimmer after recording another DNP on Friday. The 27-year-old linebacker has played almost strictly on special teams this season (335 of 364 total snaps), recording nine total tackles.

  • Ravens' Del'Shawn Phillips: Playing Sunday

Phillips (quadriceps) is active for Sunday's game against the Steelers. He'll likely slot back into his usual role as a special-teams contributor.

  • Ravens' Del'Shawn Phillips: Inactive this weekend

Phillips (quadriceps) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Broncos. Phillips failed to practice all week leading up to Sunday's contest versus Denver due to an apparent quadriceps issue, and he'll now miss his first game of the 2022-23 campaign as a result. His absence shouldn't alter Baltimore's defensive game plan given that the 26-year-old has strictly operated as a special-teams contributor this season.

  • Del'Shawn Phillips: Heads back to practice squad

Phillips reverted to the practice squad after Sunday's Week 1 loss to the Raiders, Mike Clay of ESPN.com reports. Phillips led the Jets with 12 tackles in the game, but he was required to be returned to the practice squad unless the team elected to add him to the 53-man roster. Even so, he's likely to be back with the team for Sunday's Week 2 matchup against New England, with Jamien Sherwood (ankle), Jarrad Davis (ankle) and Blake Cashman (hamstring) all sidelined among the team's linebacker corps.

The Bills activated Phillips (quadriceps) from injured reserve Saturday. Phillips logged two weeks of practice and will return to the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Seahawks.
