Green Bay waived Keeney-James on Monday.
Keeney-James was originally signed by Detroit as an undrafted free agent last April. He ended up being waived, and Green Bay scooped him up in late September. Keeney-James saw action in one game for the Packers, catching both of his targets for 15 yards in Week 18 versus Minnesota. He'll now be exposed to waivers, and Green Bay signed tight end Luke Lachey in a corresponding move.
