  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Hauls in TD in Sunday's loss

Flowers caught two of six targets for 39 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 18-16 loss to the Steelers. The second-year wideout was headed for an awful performance until he hooked up with Lamar Jackson for a 16-yard score with just over one minute left in the fourth quarter. The Ravens were unable to add a two-point conversion however, as their comeback effort fell short. Flowers is still prone to occasional quiet games, but over the last seven games he's posted an impressive 35-569-3 line on 52 targets. He'll look to make an impact again in Week 12 against the Chargers.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Limited to four catches Thursday

Flowers secured four of six targets for 34 yards in the Ravens' 35-34 win over the Bengals on Thursday night. Flowers finished with the second-most receptions and third-most targets for the Ravens on the night, but he was much quieter than in his previous two games when he'd recorded a combined 242 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Flowers' catch total was also his second lowest of the last six contests, but he could well bounce back in what should be a highly competitive Week 11 divisional road showdown against the Steelers on Sunday, Nov. 17.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Torches Denver in Sunday's win

Flowers caught five of six targets for 127 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 41-10 rout of the Broncos. Both scores came in the second quarter as Flowers was on the other end of seven-yard and 53-yard strikes from Lamar Jackson. The Ravens' acquisition of Diontae Johnson doesn't seem likely to threaten Flowers' spot as Jackson's top downfield option -- the second-year wideout has erupted for four 100-yard performances in the last five games, although Sunday's TDs were his first since Week 2. Flowers could be poised for big numbers again in Week 10 against a Bengals secondary he posted a 7-111-0 line against on 12 targets in their first meeting.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Bust Alert

We'll see if newly acquired receiver Diontae Johnson will play in Week 9 against Denver, and that could be a factor in limiting the production for Flowers. But really this is about the Broncos defense and a potential matchup with Patrick Surtain II. I'm still going to start Flowers in three-receiver leagues, but No. 1 receiver have been awful against Denver because of Surtain, including DK Metcalf (5.9 PPR points), George Pickens (4.9 PPR points), Mike Evans (3.7 PPR points) and Garrett Wilson (9.1 PPR points). Flowers is tough to sit, even against Surtain and with the addition of Johnson, but this could be a down game for the sophomore star in Week 9.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Active versus Cleveland

Flowers (ankle) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Browns. After not practicing Wednesday or Thursday due to an ankle issue that he sustained early in this past Monday night's win over the Buccaneers, Flowers returned to a limited session Friday, during which the wideout was moving around well, according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN. In the absence of any limitations or in-game setbacks, Flowers -- who approached Sunday's contest listed as questionable -- should have an opportunity to maintain his key role in the Ravens' passing game, a context that has led to him recording a 34/412/1 receiving line on 49 targets through seven games to date. Prior to his one-catch effort against Tampa Bay (while recording a 71 percent snap share), the 2023 first-rounder had combined for 16 catches on 21 targets for 243 yards in his two previous outings.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Set to suit up Sunday

Flowers (ankle), who is questionable for Sunday's game against the Browns, is expected to play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Flowers is officially questionable for Sunday and had been considered a game-time decision, but he looks like he'll be officially cleared when the Ravens release their inactive list 90 minutes prior to the 1 p.m. ET kickoff. The second-year receiver has been Baltimore's top pass catcher this season, tallying 49 catches for 412 yards and a touchdown over seven games. Flowers had only one catch for 11 yards and one carry for 19 yards last Sunday against Tampa Bay while playing through the ankle injury, so it's possible that the issue will affect his production to some extent against the Browns.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Considered game-time decision

Flowers (ankle), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup with the Browns, is being viewed as a game-time decision, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports. Flowers hurt his ankle last Monday against Tampa Bay and managed just one limited practice during the week while sitting out two sessions entirely. Given his minimal practice reps this week, it's no surprise that his status for Sunday's contest likely won't be clarified until 90 minutes prior to the 1 p.m. ET kickoff, when the Ravens release their inactive list. If Flowers can't suit up Sunday, Rashod Bateman will likely take over as Baltimore's No. 1 receiver.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Questionable after limited practice

Flowers (ankle) officially is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Browns after logging a limited practice Friday. Flowers played through a first-half ankle injury Monday against the Buccaneers, but he failed to practice Wednesday or Thursday before Friday's capped session. His status may not be confirmed until 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff in Cleveland. Rashod Bateman could be the primary beneficiary if Flowers winds up inhibited or sidelined.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Back at practice

Flowers (ankle) returned to practice Friday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports. Flowers didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday, but the wideout's return to the field Friday is a good sign regarding his availability for Sunday's game against the Browns. The Ravens' upcoming injury report will clarify whether Flowers heads into the weekend with an injury designation or fully cleared for Week 8 action.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Sidelined for another practice

Flowers (ankle) isn't participating in Thursday's practice, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports. He'll go down as a non-participant for the second practice in a row, clouding his status for Sunday's game in Cleveland. The Ravens will wait and see what, if anything, Flowers can do during Friday's practice before determining whether he'll be cleared to play against the Browns, carry a designation into the weekend or be ruled out for the contest. A potential Flowers absence Sunday would likely free up more targets for receivers Rashod Bateman and Nelson Agholor and tight ends Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: WRs to Start

Flowers has three games this season with double digits in targets, and he scored at least 19 PPR points in two of them, including Week 5 at Cincinnati when he had seven catches for 111 yards on 12 targets. I'm hopeful Lamar Jackson will give Flowers double digits in targets again in Week 6 against Washington since the Commanders are No. 7 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers. Six receivers have scored at least 15.5 PPR points against Washington this season, and I expect Flowers to make it seven in Week 6.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Just one catch on SNF

Flowers brought in one of two targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 35-10 win over the Bills. Flowers turned in another dud following last week's 3-20-0 receiving line against the Cowboys. The 2023 first-round pick racked up 13 receptions for 128 yards and a touchdown in his first two games, so there is hope for the sophomore to break out of his brief slump. Flowers could be in line for more work in a road matchup against the Bengals' high-powered offense Sunday.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: WRs to Start

Flowers didn't have to do much in Week 3 at Dallas, with Derrick Henry doing the heavy lifting, and Flowers finished with three catches for 20 yards on four targets, which was his first game this season with single digits in targets. He had 10 targets for six catches and 37 yards in Week 1 at Kansas City and 11 targets for seven catches, 91 yards, and a touchdown in Week 2 against Las Vegas. This week, Flowers should be heavily targeted again, and I would trust him as a No. 2 receiver in a potential shootout with Buffalo.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Held quiet by Cowboys

Flowers recorded three catches on four targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 28-25 win over the Cowboys. He added one rush for three yards. Flowers had seen strong target volume in the first two weeks of the season, though game script dictated otherwise Sunday. The Ravens attempted only 15 passes as opposed to 45 rushes, leaving all of the team's pass catchers with limited volume. Positively, Flowers still tied for the team lead in targets, and a Week 4 matchup against Buffalo is likely to dictate that Baltimore takes to the air more often.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: WRs to Start

Flowers is off to a solid start this season with 21 targets in two games against Kansas City and Las Vegas, and he has 13 catches for 128 yards and a touchdown over that span while averaging 16.6 PPR points per game. This game has the potential to be a shootout with a projected score of 48.5, and Flowers would be in a great spot if the Ravens are chasing points and struggling to run the ball. I like Flowers as a No. 2 Fantasy receiver in all leagues.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Paces pass catchers in loss

Flowers brought in seven of 11 targets for 91 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens' 26-23 loss to the Raiders on Sunday. Flowers' line looked like that of a No. 1 receiver in a victory, as the second-year wideout continued to look the part while recording team highs in receptions, receiving yards and targets. However, the Ravens went on to blow a 10-point lead in the second half, which had been established with Flowers' eight-yard touchdown grab early in the fourth quarter. Despite the disappointing outcome, Flowers' fantasy stock is strong heading into a Week 3 road showdown against the Cowboys next Sunday.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Sleeper WRs

It was great to see Flowers get 10 targets in Week 1 at Kansas City, and he had six catches for 37 yards. I'm hoping for a similar amount of targets in Week 2 against the Raiders but with a better stat line, especially the yards. In his past five home games going back to last year, including the playoffs, Flowers has scored at least 18 PPR points in three of them, so hopefully, he stays hot at home in Week 2. I like Flowers as a high-end No. 3 receiver in all leagues.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Stays busy in Week 1 loss

Flowers secured six of 10 targets for 37 yards and rushed twice for 14 yards in the Ravens' 27-20 loss to the Chiefs on Thursday night. Flowers was the runner-up in both receptions and targets on the night for the Ravens, although the overwhelming majority of his catches were very close to the line of scrimmage. The second-year wideout did look explosive with the ball in his hands and ready to resume or even expand the robust role he enjoyed as a rookie in 2023, when he logged 85 touches across 16 regular-season games and another 11 in two playoff contests. Flowers will aim to up his efficiency at the expense of the Raiders in a Week 2 home battle on Sunday, Sept. 15.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Not likely to play Saturday

Head coach John Harbaugh suggested Wednesday that Flowers and other key starters aren't likely to play in Saturday's preseason game against the Falcons, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports. Flowers was among the team's starters not to see action in this past Friday's exhibition opener against the Eagles, and he doesn't look on track to play any snaps this weekend, either. As the coming season approaches, Flowers is slated to start alongside fellow wideout Rashod Bateman, a role that should allow the second-year pro to see steady targets from quarterback Lamar Jackson. As a rookie, Flowers compiled a 77-858-5 receiving line across 16 games, numbers that he'll have a good chance to eclipse provided he can stay healthy in 2024.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Sitting out Saturday

Flowers (calf) is listed as inactive Saturday against the Steelers. Flowers played through a calf injury during the Ravens' Week 17 win against the Dolphins en route to three catches (on three targets) for 106 yards and one touchdown on a 66 percent share of snaps. Having said that, he wasn't able to practice during Week 18 prep due to the same issue, and with the team having locked up the No. 1 seed in the AFC, he'll be afforded two weeks off to get healthy for a divisional-round matchup Saturday, Jan. 20 or Sunday, Jan. 21.
