  • Jaheim Bell: Let go by Pittsburgh

The Steelers waived Bell on Friday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports. Bell signed with the Steelers in early May. The tight end was set to be a casualty of Sunday's cutdown day and will now be placed on waivers through Monday. If the 25-year-old goes unclaimed, he will become a free agent able to sign with any franchise's 53-man roster or practice squad.

  • Steelers' Jaheim Bell: Lands in Pittsburgh

Bell signed with the Steelers on Monday. The tight end spent time on the practice squads of Pittsburgh and Philadelphia in 2025, though he never appeared in a regular-season game. Bell was a seventh-round pick of the Patriots in 2024, catching two passes (on three targets) for 20 yards as a rookie.

  • Eagles' Jaheim Bell: Signed to future deal

The Eagles signed Bell to a reserve/future contract Wednesday. Bell was cut from the Eagles' practice squad in October, and the tight end spent the rest of his season as a member of the Steelers' practice squad. The 24-year-old was not elevated to the active roster for any games this season. With a contract in place, Bell will have a chance to make the 2026 Eagles' roster once training camp commences.

  • Jaheim Bell: Signs with Pittsburgh

Bell signed with the Steelers' practice squad Wednesday. With Darnell Washington (forearm) sent to injured reserve, Bell gives the Steelers another tight end in the organization. Bell has spent time with the Patriots and Eagles this calendar year but hasn't appeared in a regular-season game in 2025.

  • Jaheim Bell: Waived by Patriots

New England waived Bell on Friday, Evan Lazar of the team's official site reports. The Patriots knew Bell was a developmental selection when nabbing him in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL Draft, so he seems a likely candidate to resurface on the practice squad if he goes unclaimed on waivers. Across 15 regular-season appearances as a rookie, Bell totaled two catches for 20 yards on three targets, and his one game with double-digit offensive snaps came Week 18 against Buffalo.
