Dolphins' Rene Konga: Lands on IR

The Dolphins placed Konga (undisclosed) on injured reserve Wednesday. Konga's move to injured reserve doesn't come as a surprise, as it was announced Tuesday that he would miss the entirety of the upcoming season. The 23-year-old signed with Miami as an undrafted free agent back in May and will now shift his focus to getting healthy for the 2027 campaign.

Dolphins' Rene Konga: Done for 2026

Dolphins head coach Jeff Hafley said Tuesday that Konga (undisclosed) will miss the entire 2026 season, Omar Kelly of the Miami Herald reports. The nature of Konga's injury has not been announced, but it's severe enough to sit out for all of 2026. Konga signed with the Dolphins in early May as an undrafted free agent.
