Summary
Christen Miller is a disruptive, violent interior presence who plays with great leverage and shows traits to impact both phases. He flashes heavy hands and strong explosiveness with upside as a pass rusher. Miller has logged nearly 1,100 snaps over the past three seasons at Georgia and brings a high ceiling to the next level because of his size and movement skills. There are plenty of traits to like, and with continued development, he could contribute early.
About
- 2025: First-team All-ACC
- 2025: Second in FBS in PFF run-defense grade (90.2)
Strengths
- Explosive athlete with good lateral movement and the ability to win in tight areas as a pass rusher with his hands.
- Excellent power at the point of attack and advanced block recognition in the run game; shows powerful hips and hands despite an unorthodox stance.
- Versatility to line up anywhere along the defensive front from 0-technique to 4i, though his best fit may be as a 2i.
Weaknesses
- Needs to expand his pass-rush toolbox and develop more consistent counters.
- Can get washed out against double teams in the run game more than expected.
- Lacks elite production over the past three seasons, though Georgia’s heavy defensive rotation played a role.
- Occasionally late off the ball.
