Guerrero went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Sunday's extra-innings loss to the Guardians.

The 24-year-old slugger gave the Jays an early lead by taking Noah Syndergaard deep in the first inning on a changeup that stayed up in the zone, but Toronto eventually fell 10-7 in the 11th. Guerrero has hit safely in eight straight games and gone yard in two of the last three to get to 20 homers on the season, and the late August hot streak offers some hope he can regain his swagger in September -- his .784 OPS on the season is a long way from the 1.002 mark he delivered in 2021.

Calhoun went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI and three runs scored in Sunday's 10-7 win over the Blue Jays.

Calhoun's big day culminated with a two-run double in the 11th that proved to be the game-winning hit for the Guardians. The 35-year-old Calhoun hasn't hit above .235 since 2017 but has provided a spark for the Guardians since joining the club Aug. 5. He's currently hitting .288 with two homers, 11 RBI and 11 runs scored in 66 at-bats.

Casas went 2-for-4 with one double, a home run, two RBI and one run scored in Sunday's loss against the Dodgers.

Casas hit a two-run homer in the sixth off Gavin Stone to put the Red Sox on the board. It was his 21st home run of the season, with 12 of those coming since the All-Star break. Cases is now slashing .256/.356/.482 on the season.

O'Hearn went 1-for-1 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 4-3 loss against the Rockies.

O'Hearn came off the bench in the eighth with the Orioles down two and tied the game with a blast to right. The part-timer has been productive in his first season with the Orioles, slashing .298/.335/.506 with 11 homers and 42 RBI in 245 at-bats.

Kirilloff (shoulder) could be cleared to head out on a minor-league rehab assignment later this week, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Kirilloff is scheduled to take live at-bats Tuesday against rehabbing pitcher Jorge Alcala (forearm) in what will likely be a final test of Kirilloff's health before he's deemed ready for game action. The 25-year-old has been on the shelf since July 30 with a right shoulder strain but should reclaim a regular spot in the Minnesota lineup at first base once he completes his rehab assignment.

Beaty will start at first base and bat eighth in Sunday's game against the Mariners.

The lefty-hitting Beaty may continue to sit regularly versus left-handed pitching, but the Royals appear to be giving him a look in an everyday role at first base or designated hitter against righties. He'll start for the fourth game in a row after going 3-for-8 with a walk and two runs over the previous three contests.

Diaz (forearm) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees.

According to Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times, Diaz's left forearm is still feeling sore after being hit by a pitch in Friday's 6-2 loss, but he'll avoid a trip to the injured list after a CT scan cleared him of any major damage. Though Diaz is out of the lineup for the second straight game, he's expected to be available off the bench Sunday and should settle back into the starting nine when the Rays open their two-game set in Miami on Tuesday.

Abreu is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers.

Abreu will get a breather for the day game after he started in three of the Astros' first four games following his activation from the 10-day injured list Wednesday. Jon Singleton will get the starting nod at first base Sunday, but Abreu should serve as the primary option at the position now that he's ostensibly healthy again.

Arias is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Blue Jays.

Arias will get a much-needed breather after he started in each of Cleveland's last 13 games, seeing action at all the infield spots except second base during that stretch. Tyler Freeman will get the nod at shortstop Sunday, but Arias is expected to operate as the primary option at the position in the wake of Brayan Rocchio's recent demotion to Triple-A Columbus.

O'Hearn is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.

The lefty-hitting O'Hearn will take a seat in the series finale while the Orioles bring lefty Ty Blach to the hill. Ryan Mountcastle will man first base in place of O'Hearn.
