Wilmer Flores 1B | SF
Giants' Wilmer Flores: Placed on IL
The Giants placed Flores on the 10-day injured list Friday with right knee tendinitis, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
Flores has been slumping at the plate lately, going just 2-for-19 with three RBI in his last six games. He'll be sidelined for at least 10 days due to his knee, and starting first base duties will be given back to LaMonte Wade (hamstring), who was activated off the injured list in a corresponding move.

Wade (hamstring) is playing first base and batting second Friday against the Dodgers, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Bryce Harper DH | PHI
Phillies' Bryce Harper: Headed to IL with low-grade strain
The Phillies placed Harper on the 10-day injured list Friday with a left hamstring strain.
Harper suffered the injury on the final play of Thursday's loss to the Marlins while running out a grounder. The good news is it's considered a low-grade strain and Harper might return as soon as July 9, per Matt Gelb of The Athletic. The Phillies could also play things cautiously and hold him out until after the All-Star break. While Harper is sidelined, Philadelphia will likely shift Alec Bohm over to first base and put Edmundo Sosa at third.

LaMonte Wade 1B | CHW
Giants' LaMonte Wade: Poised to come off IL Friday
Wade (hamstring) is expected to be activated from the 10-day injured list Friday, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
Wade has been sidelined for the past month with a Grade 2 left hamstring strain but has been cleared to return after playing three rehab games with Triple-A Sacramento, going 1-for-7 with a 2:4 K:BB. The 30-year-old has slashed a robust .333/.470/.426 for the Giants this season and will go back to receiving regular starts at first base against right-handed pitching.

David Villar 1B | SF
Giants' David Villar: Sitting against lefty Thursday
Villar is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Cubs, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Wilmer Flores will man first base while the Cubs send southpaw Shota Imanaga to the mound, but even though he's a right-handed hitter like Flores, Villar looks as though he'll be the preferred option against right-handed pitching. Villar started both of the last two nights against righties, going 1-for-5 with a home run and two RBI. The 27-year-old's stay atop the depth chart may not last long, however, as top first baseman LaMonte Wade (hamstring) is in the midst of a rehab assignment and could be activated from the injured list as soon as this weekend.
