Bryce Harper 1B | PHI
Phillies' Bryce Harper: Won't start Wednesday
Harper (hand) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Dodgers.
In his return from the 10-day injured list for Tuesday's 10-1 win over the Dodgers, Harper experienced no renewed complications with the hamstring injury that had previously sidelined him, but he suffered a bruise to his glove hand when it was struck by a Freddie Freeman line drive. Harper was still able to take part in pregame activities Wednesday, so the Phillies could just be holding him out of the lineup as a matter of precaution. Alec Bohm will cover first base in Harper's stead.

Bryce Harper 1B | PHI
Phillies' Bryce Harper: Nursing bruised hand
Harper is questionable to play Wednesday versus the Dodgers after bruising his left hand during Tuesday's 10-1 win, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
A line drive hit by Freddie Freeman caught Harper in a bad spot on his glove hand, and Harper is apparently still dealing with some soreness Wednesday. He will test the hand out in the batting cage before the Phillies determine if he can start. Even if Harper is withheld from the lineup Wednesday, the injury wouldn't appear to be a long-term concern.

Michael Toglia 1B | COL
Rockies' Michael Toglia: Hitting for power
Toglia went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run Tuesday against the Reds.
Toglia continued his surge in power, as he's delivered seven home runs across his last 23 games. He's also tacked on 15 RBI and 13 runs scored in that span, though he's struck out at a 28.7-percent clip and is hitting just .207. Despite the mixed results, Toglia has started 31 straight games and is locked into playing time at first base.

Jake Cronenworth 1B | SD
Padres' Jake Cronenworth: Swats homer in loss
Cronenworth went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's loss to the Mariners.
Cronenworth took Logan Gilbert deep to right in the seventh inning for the Padres' first run of the game during a night in which the team managed just four hits total. It's his 13th homer of the season, as he's on pace to set a career high in that category after hitting 21 in 2021. Since June 20, Cronenworth is slashing a healthy .313/.371/.484 with three homers, nine RBI, 18 runs and a 5:9 BB:K in 70 plate appearances.

Michael Busch 1B | CHC
Cubs' Michael Busch: Stellar offensive display in win
Busch went 4-for-6 with a solo home run and an additional run in Tuesday's 9-2 win over the Orioles.
Busch got the scoring started Tuesday by taking Dean Kremer deep in the top of the first and kept it going by registering his first four-hit game of the season. Busch has homered in back-to-back games, with the two blasts matching the total he had in his previous 32 games combined. The 26-year-old has now left the yard on 12 occasions overall, tying him with Jackson Merrill and Colton Cowser for the most by a rookie this season.

Rowdy Tellez 1B | PIT
Pirates' Rowdy Tellez: Gets aboard three times
Tellez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 12-2 win over the Brewers.
Tellez is 11-for-29 (.379) with five homers and 10 RBI over his last nine contests. The first baseman has found another level to his game -- he had just three homers over his first 68 contests this year. Overall, he's slashing .249/.304/.394 with eight long balls, 30 RBI, 27 runs scored and one stolen base over 240 plate appearances. Tellez is likely to remain in a strong-side platoon role, but he's got upside with his power when he's seeing the ball as well as he has lately.

Michael Busch 1B | CHC
Cubs' Michael Busch: Big effort in win
Busch went 4-for-6 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 9-2 win over the Orioles.
It was Busch's first four-hit effort of the season as he raised his batting average from .264 to .273. The 26-year-old is enjoying a good first year in Chicago with the solid average along with 12 home runs and an .838 OPS across 85 games. After not really getting an opportunity to break in with the Dodgers, Busch has found an everyday role and has developed into a solid fantasy contributor.

Joey Gallo 1B | WAS
Nationals' Joey Gallo: Swinging, fielding grounders
Gallo (hamstring) participated in batting practice Tuesday, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.
Manager Dave Martinez noted that Gallo has also resumed fielding groundballs within the past week, though the 30-year-old still has yet to run the bases since beginning a running program June 24. Gallo will almost certainly need to embark on a rehab assignment before he can return to the Nationals, but he seems to still have some hurdles to clear before he can begin playing in minor-league games.

Wilmer Flores 1B | SF
Giants' Wilmer Flores: Back from injured list
The Giants reinstated Flores (knee) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
Flores landed on the injured list June 28 due to right knee tendinitis, and he's been given the green light to return to the active roster after slightly more than a minimum-length stay on the IL. The 32-year-old has slashed just .206/.282/.317 with 25 RBI in 227 plate appearances, though he'll presumably operate in the short side of a platoon at first base with LaMonte Wade.

Kody Clemens 1B | PHI
Phillies' Kody Clemens: Sent to Triple-A
The Phillies optioned Clemens to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Tuesday.
Clemens got some run at first base while Bryce Harper (hamstring) was on the injured list, but Clemens will head back to the minors after Harper was reinstated ahead of Tuesday's series opener versus the Dodgers. In 24 contests with the Phillies this season, Clemens has slashed .242/.277/.500 with three home runs.
