Brewers' Jake Bauers: Records fourth steal
Bauers went 1-for-2 with a walk, a hit-by-pitch, one RBI, one stolen base and one run scored in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Cardinals.

After losing playing time to Tyler Black earlier in the month, Bauers has gotten in the lineup for four straight games, going 4-for-10 with three walks, two steals, four RBI and three runs in that span. The 28-year-old is likely to remain in a strong-side platoon role with most of his playing time coming in the corner outfield. He's up to a .231/.318/.436 slash line through 88 plate appearances on the season.

Matt Olson 1B | ATL
Braves' Matt Olson: Finally snaps slump
Olson went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Friday's win over the Mets.
Olson hit Atlanta's third and final homer during the third inning and it proved to be the game-winning blast. It was his first long ball since April 7, snapping an uncharacteristic 26-game skid. During that extended drought, he posted a .508 OPS with 30 strikeouts. On the year, Olson is slashing .202/.311/.372 with 13 extra-base hits and 18 RBI through 35 contests.

Cardinals' Paul Goldschmidt: Back in lineup Friday
Goldschmidt is starting at first base and batting third in the lineup for Friday's game against the Brewers, John Denton of MLB.com reports.
Goldschmidt was absent from the starting lineup in the team's 7-1 loss to Milwaukee on Thursday. The veteran first baseman has not registered a hit over his last six appearances, and he is slashing .195/.287/.263 with a 31.3 percent strikeout rate this season. Brewers' Rhys Hoskins: Homers in second straight
Hoskins went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Thursday's win over the Cardinals.
Hoskins increased Milwaukee's lead to three runs in the bottom of the first inning with a two-run shot off Sonny Gray, giving the first baseman his eighth home run of the season. Paul Goldschmidt 1B | STL
Cardinals' Paul Goldschmidt: Not in lineup Thursday
Goldschmidt is not in the lineup for Thursday's game in Milwaukee.
Goldschmidt had been slated to sit out Wednesday versus the Mets before that game was rained out, and he is again absent from the lineup card a day later. The 36-year-old is hitless so far in six contests this month. Alec Burleson will fill in for Goldschmidt at first base Thursday.

Elehuris Montero 1B | COL
Rockies' Elehuris Montero: Sitting Wednesday
Montero is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Giants.
Montero will exit the starting nine for the first time since April 21, when he sat out the front end of a doubleheader with the Mariners. His move to the bench comes while he's fallen into a 3-for-23 slump at the dish over his last six games, though the Rockies haven't signaled that Montero's standing atop the depth chart at first base is in any jeopardy.

Joey Gallo 1B | WAS
Nationals' Joey Gallo: Moves rehab to Triple-A
Gallo (shoulder) went 0-for-4 with a walk, a run and an RBI on Tuesday in a rehab game for Triple-A Syracuse.
Gallo went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and three walks between a pair of rehab games for Single-A Fredericksburg over the weekend and received the green light to move his assignment to a higher-level affiliate. He served as Syracuse's designated hitter Tuesday but could see action at first base and in the corner outfield for the remainder of his rehab assignment. Gallo may have to settle for a part-time role once the Nationals bring him back from the 10-day injured list.
