Alonso went 3-for-5 with two home runs, a double, three RBI and two strikeouts in Sunday's win against the Phillies.

Alonso wasn't in the Mets' lineup Saturday, but the day off apparently served him well as he swatted three extra-base hits against the Phillies. The 25-year-old has largely struggled to begin the season, but he's now hit four home runs over his past four contests.

Cronenworth went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, one RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Athletics.

Cronenworth restored a one-run lead for the Padres with his RBI double in the fourth inning. He also doubled in the second inning and stole third with two outs, but he couldn't come around to score either time. The 26-year-old has four homers, three steals, 19 RBI and 21 runs scored through 36 games.

France, who went 2-for-3 with a bases-loaded walk and a run in a win over the Rangers on Saturday, is 3-for-6 with two RBI, two walks and two runs over his first two games with the Mariners.

France has quickly taken to his new Seattle digs after coming over from the Padres at the trade deadline. The 26-year-old slugger's bat carries no shortage of upside, and the Mariners appear set to afford him an everyday role at the keystone for what remains of the season to see what they have in their promising acquisition.

Gurriel is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

There has been nothing from the team's beat writers to suggest this is anything other than a routine day off after Gurriel played both ends of Saturday's doubleheader. It's just Gurriel's second absence from the lineup this season. Abraham Toro will start at first base and bat seventh.

Olson went 3-for-4 with a triple, two RBI and one strikeout in Saturday's win against the Padres.

Olson had been struggling prior to the Athletics' recent hiatus as he had gone 0-for-6 with five strikeouts heading into the layoff. However, he's been dominant in the two games since Oakland returned to play as he drew three walks Friday prior to tallying three hits Saturday.

Walker is not in Sunday's lineup against the Giants.

Walker will get a rare day off despite having a modest four-game hitting streak going. He will be replaced in the lineup by Jake Lamb, who is batting eighth and playing first base.

Abreu went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Royals.

Abreu's first-inning homer, his 13th, extended his hitting streak to 19 games and elevated him to the top of the RBI leaderboard with 40. During the 19-game stretch, Abreu is batting .397 with 10 home runs and 28 RBI -- the most RBI in a 19-game hitting streak since Mike Piazza had 32 RBI in the first 19 games of a 21-game hitting streak in 2000.

Cooper (quadriceps) is taking grounders and taking swings Sunday, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.

Cooper was absent from the lineup Saturday, but the team expects that he will be able to return to the field within the next few days. He's hit well in 37 plate appearances this season, logging a .278/.297/.556 line with two home runs, three runs scored and eight RBI.

Cooper is not in the team's starting lineup Sunday against the Rays, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.

Cooper will sit for the second time in the team's weekend series. Jesus Aguilar is starting at first base and batting third, while Lewin Diaz will get the nod as the designated hitter and bat sixth in his place.

Tellez went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and a walk in Saturday's 9-8 loss to the Red Sox.

In the fourth inning, Tellez singled and scored on a Travis Shaw double. Tellez drew a leadoff walk in the sixth and came around to score on Vladimir Guerrero's three-run blast. The 25-year-old Tellez has been on fire lately, going 10-for-22 (.455) with a homer, three RBI and five runs scored in his last eight games. He's slashing .283/.354/.535 with seven homers, 20 RBI and 17 runs scored through 32 contests overall.
