Wade went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and two walks in Sunday's 6-5 extra-inning win over the Reds.

Wade has gotten on base in his last 13 games, going 11-for-34 with a 13:10 BB:K in that span. While he's been an on-base machine this season, he's struggled to hit for power -- his homer Sunday was his second of the year, and he's added just five doubles over 40 contests. Wade is slashing .340/.480/.457 with 14 RBI, 14 runs scored and one stolen base over 123 plate appearances. He's just shy of being a qualified hitter due to beginning the year in a strong-side platoon role, but he's seen more opportunities versus southpaws since Jorge Soler (shoulder) went on the injured list Wednesday.

Torkelson went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 9-3 loss to the Astros.

Torkelson finally broke through for his first home run of the 2024 season, launching a two-run shot off of Houston reliever Seth Martinez with two outs in the bottom of the ninth. After producing 31 home runs over 159 games in 2023, it took the first baseman 38 contests to go deep in 2024. Torkelson is now batting .224 with a home run, 14 RBI and 15 runs scored over those 38 games.

Bell went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run, two walks and two runs scored in Sunday's 7-6 extra-win over the Phillies.

Bell was able to take Zack Wheeler deep for a three-run shot in the bottom of the third inning, giving the Marlins a 4-3 lead. The long ball was his fifth of the season and second of the month. The first baseman has produced a .270 average with two home runs, eight RBI and three runs scored over 37 at-bats in 11 games in May.

Santana went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Blue Jays.

Santana took Toronto's starter Alek Manoah deep for a three-run shot in the top of the seventh inning, breaking a 0-0 tie. The homer was his seventh of the season, and he has now gone deep in three consecutive contests. Since May 5, Santana has gone 9-for-23 with three home runs, eight RBI and five runs scored over eight games.

Soderstrom is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Mariners.

Since being recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas on Wednesday, Soderstrom has gone 4-for-12 with one home run and two RBI. He'll be available off the bench for Sunday's series finale while Tyler Nevin gets the start at first base.

Pasquantino is out of the starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Angels.

With the Angels sending southpaw Patrick Sandoval to the mound Sunday, the lefty-hitting Pasquantino will get the series finale off. Pasquantino has gone 13-for-36 with one home run and 11 RBI since May 1, and he is up to a .248/.329/.445 slash line over 161 plate appearances this season. Salvador Perez will start at first base Sunday in Pasquantino's stead.

Montero is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers.

Montero's grasp on the everyday role at first base seems to be slipping, as he finds himself on the bench for the second day in a row. Hunter Goodman -- who went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's 8-3 win -- will draw another start at first base at Montero's expense. Montero has gone 5-for-31 with one extra-base hit (a double) and a 31.3 percent strikeout rate over his last nine games.

Bauers is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Bauers is on the bench for the series finale, but after producing a .400/.571/.900 slash line with two stolen bases while starting in each of the past four games, he may have moved back into a near-everyday role. Jackson Chourio -- who had been benched for the past four games -- will rejoin the starting nine and replace Bauers in the corner outfield.

Busch is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.

The lefty-hitting Busch had started each of the Cubs' first 10 games of May and the Pirates are bringing a lefty (Bailey Falter) to the hill Sunday, so Cubs manager Craig Counsell likely viewed it as an optimal time to give the 26-year-old the day off. Patrick Wisdom will check in for Busch at first base and bat fifth.

Smith is out of the starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against Washington.

The lefty-hitting Smith will take a seat for the series finale Sunday with left-hander MacKenzie Gore on the hill for the Nationals. Garrett Cooper will start at first base, while Rob Refsnyder fills in at designated hitter. Since joining the Red Sox on May 1, Smith is 4-for-24 with three RBI.
