Palacios (knee) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Durham on Tuesday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Palacios will play a few rehab games with Durham before returning from the 10-day injured list during the final week of the series if all goes well. The utility player has been sidelined since early August with a right knee sprain.

Morel (Achilles) will start in left field and bat fifth in Tuesday's game versus the Red Sox.

Morel missed each of the last two contests with right Achilles discomfort, but he's feeling well enough to give it a go as the Rays open a series against the Red Sox. Each of Morel's last three starts have been in left field after he had previously only played second base since joining Tampa Bay.

Altuve went 2-for-4 with a double, a stolen base and a run scored in Monday's 3-1 loss to the Padres.

Altuve was the only Astro with multiple hits in the contest, and it's the sixth time in nine games he's recorded multiple knocks. The speedy second baseman is up to 22 steals on 29 attempts this year, his most thefts in a season since 2017. He's added a steady .302/.357/.447 slash line with 19 home runs, 63 RBI and 89 runs scored over 145 contests out of the leadoff role.

Keith went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Monday's 7-6 win over the Royals.

Keith made his lone hit count, ripping a two-out home run in the fifth inning that brought the Tigers within a run as they mounted a comeback. Detroit is pushing Minnesota for the final playoff spot, and the rookie Keith has been a key reason why. Over his last 12 contests, the 23-year-old is batting .313 with five runs scored and six RBI.

Drury (hamstring) remains out of the lineup for Monday's contest versus the White Sox, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

It's the fourth straight start he's missed due to lingering left hamstring tightness. Charles Leblanc will play second base for the Angels while Drury continues to rest up.

Frazier will start at third base and bat seventh in Monday's game against the Tigers.

Frazier will remain in the lineup for a fifth consecutive game, with the versatile 32-year-old having picked up two starts at third base and right field and one at designated hitter during that stretch. He's mustered just two hits in 12 at-bats with one walk over the previous four contests, so Frazier's run as an everyday player could soon come to an end if he fails to get going at the dish.

Julien is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Guardians.

The lefty-hitting Julien will remain on the bench for a second straight game, this time against a lefty (Matthew Boyd) after he was out of the lineup against Reds righty Rhett Lowder on Sunday. Julien should still see the bulk of the starts at second base until Max Kepler (knee) returns from the injured list, at which point super-utility man Willi Castro may see fewer opportunities in the outfield and instead find a home at the keystone.

Torres went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional run scored Sunday against the Red Sox.

Torres recorded his fifth multi-hit game this month while clubbing his 14th blast of the season. He's collected at least one hit in 13 of 14 Sept. contests, batting 20-for-59 (.339) with two homers, nine RBI and 11 runs scored.

Polanco is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers.

Polanco will be joined on the bench by Josh Rojas, Luke Raley and Cal Raleigh as the Mariners give some regulars a breather in a day game after a night game. Dylan Moore will check in at second base in place of Polanco, who has gone just 5-for-40 (.125 average) at the plate thus far in September.

Stefanic (calf) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros.

Stefanic will be on the bench for a second straight game while he tends to a right calf injury. With Brandon Drury (hamstring) also day-to-day and not included in the lineup, the Angels will have spots available in the infield for Jack Lopez at second base and Eric Wagaman at third base.
