Polanco went 1-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in Monday's 3-2 win over the Orioles in 10 innings.

After putting the Twins on the board in the third inning with a fielder's choice grounder that scored the game's first run, Polanco supplied some important insurance in extra innings. The Twins took a 2-1 lead when Rob Refsnyder scored on a wild pitch early in the inning, but Polanco's two-out solo shot held up as the difference after the Orioles came through with a run in the bottom half of the 10th. Polanco has now produced four extra-base hits (two home runs and two doubles) over his last six starts.

Wong will start at second base and bat second Monday against the Giants, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Wong will stick in the lineup for the third game in a row after he went 1-for-7 with a double while starting at second base in both of the previous two contests. He looks like he may have a clear path to regular reps in the middle infield while Jose Iglesias (hamstring) is on the shelf.

Andrus is out of the lineup for Monday's game in Seattle.

Andrus went hitless over four at-bats in the final two games of the Athletics' series with the Angels, but he started to catch fire at the plate prior to that, going 8-for-15 over a four-game stretch. The 32-year-old's standing atop the depth chart at shortstop appears secure for the time being, but Chad Pinder will spell him at the position Monday.

Lowe will shift up to the leadoff spot for Monday's game against the Yankees.

Randy Arozarena has been Tampa Bay's primary leadoff hitter thus far this season, with Lowe typically hitting immediately behind him against right-handers. The duo will swap spots for Monday's series opener in the Bronx, though it's unclear if manager Kevin Cash plans on instituting this change going forward.

Rosario went 1-for-3 with two RBI, a run, walk and strikeout in a 6-5 victory against Toronto in Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader.

Rosario came alive late along with the entire Cleveland offense with a sixth inning RBI single and run and a bases-loaded walk the next inning to tie the game. The single snapped an 0-for-10 skid for the shortstop who's slashing a mediocre .243/.313/.358.

Semien went 3-for-3 with two doubles and a walk in Sunday's win over Cleveland.

Semien extended his hitting streak to seven games, but the shortstop has been seeing the ball well for an extended period of time and has hit safely in all but three games in the entire month. He's hitting .369 with eight homers, 12 doubles, a triple, 21 RBI, 22 runs scored and 11 walks across 122 plate appearances in May.

Merrifield went 2-for-5 with an RBI single, a double, a stolen base and two runs scored in Sunday's 6-3 win over Minnesota.

The second baseman hit a leadoff double and scored on an Andrew Benintendi single in the first inning. Merrifield also hit and RBI single, stole second and scored on a Salvador Perez single in the fifth. Merrifield leads baseball with 15 stolen bases this year. He's added a .251/.317/.374 slash line with four home runs, 28 RBI and 32 runs scored across 221 plate appearances. While his power is down in 2021 after slugging .440 last year, the 32-year-old remains a threat with his legs on the basepaths.

Clement was recalled from Triple-A Columbus for Sunday's doubleheader against the Blue Jays, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

The 25-year-old is looking to make his big-league debut before likely returning to the minors after the doubleheader. Clement has a .353/.389/.618 slash line through 10 games at Triple-A this season.

Espinal is not in the lineup for Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader at Cleveland.

Espinal has been the primary starter at third base since Cavan Biggio (neck) landed on the injured list, but he's been unable to solidify his grip on the role and is 3-for-20 over the past seven games. Joe Panik will receive the start at the hot corner in Sunday's matinee.

Arraez (shoulder) is expected to spend a few weeks on the injured list, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

It's far from a precise timeline, but it doesn't look as though Arraez is in contention to return from his shoulder injury in the minimum 10 days. Jorge Polanco has been the primary second baseman in his absence and will likely remain in that role until Arraez returns.
