  • Brandon Lowe 2B | PIT

Rays' Brandon Lowe: Continues power surge

Lowe went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 5-0 win over the Twins.

Lowe opened the scoring in the fourth inning Wednesday, launching his 11th home run of the year. The 30-year-old has been as hot as any player in baseball of late -- he's recorded at least one hit in 11 straight games while batting .393 with six homers and a 1.219 OPS in his last 15 contests. Lowe is now slashing .249/.298/.446 through 208 plate appearances this season with 30 RBI, 27 runs scored and a pair of stolen bases.

  • Dylan Moore 2B | TEX

Mariners' Dylan Moore: Taking seat Wednesday

Moore isn't in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Nationals.

Moore will get a day to rest after going 3-for-4 with two doubles and a run scored during Tuesday's contest. His absence will allow Miles Mastrobuoni to start bat second base and at eighth.

  • Royals' Michael Massey: Battling left ankle soreness

Massey was scratched from the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Reds due to left ankle soreness.

Massey was removed from Wednesday's lineup after being listed as the team's starting left fielder. However, pain in his left ankle will prevent him from starting the contest. John Rave will enter the lineup in right field while Dairon Blanco slides to left. The Royals are off Thursday before starting a three-game series against the Tigers on Friday.

  • Royals' Michael Massey: Scratched Wednesday

Massey was scratched from Wednesday's lineup against the Reds.

Massey was initially slated to play left field and bat eighth Wednesday, but he's been removed from the lineup for undisclosed reasons. Dairon Blanco will slide to left field while John Rave patrols right field.

  • Red Sox's Kristian Campbell: Playing game at 1B over weekend

Manager Alex Cora said Wednesday that Campbell will play first base during one game of Boston's three-game series in Atlanta that starts Friday, Sean McAdam of MassLive.com reports.

The Red Sox have been searching for an answer at first base since Triston Casas (knee) suffered a season-ending injury in early May, and the search became even more dire a week later when Romy Gonzalez (quadriceps) hit the injured list. Campbell began taking first-base reps during pregame warmups shortly after Gonzalez's injury, and he'll get his first crack at in-game action this weekend. The 23-year-old rookie is slashing .225/.312/.354 in 202 plate appearances this season.

  • Mauricio Dubon 2B | ATL

    Astros' Mauricio Dubon: Getting breather

Dubon is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the A's.

Dubon will get the afternoon off Wednesday after making six consecutive starts. In his place, Brendan Rodgers will fill in at second base and bat ninth.

  • Red Sox's Kristian Campbell: On bench Wednesday

Campbell is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Brewers.

Campbell will get the day off Wednesday after making four consecutive starts. In his place, David Hamilton will bat seventh and play second base.

  • Willi Castro RF | CHC

Twins' Willi Castro: Getting breather Wednesday

Castro is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rays.

After making seven consecutive starts, Castro is on the bench for Wednesday's series finale. Brooks Lee will slot in at second base while Trevor Larnach, DaShawn Keirsey and Kody Clemens fill the outfield from left to right.

  • Guardians' Daniel Schneemann: Tees off in loss

Schneemann went 1-for-2 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday's 9-5 loss to the Dodgers.

Schneemann launched a three-run homer in the fourth inning after the Dodgers raced to an early 4-0 lead. Despite that early success, Cleveland manager Stephen Vogt pinch hit for Schneemann against a lefty in the seventh, limiting him to two plate appearances. He has just 16 at-bats against southpaws in 2025. Schneemann blipped on the fantasy radar in early May but had gone quiet prior to Tuesday's three-run homer. He entered the game batting .175 (7-for-40) with one extra-base hit, one RBI and three runs over 13 games.

  • Dylan Moore 2B | TEX

Mariners' Dylan Moore: Three-hit effort in Tuesday's win

Moore went 3-for-4 with two doubles and a run scored in Monday's 9-1 win over the Nationals.

Moore went 0-for-10 over his previous three games before breaking the short slump in a big way Tuesday. The utility player has posted three multi-hit efforts over 18 games in May. For the season, he's hitting .272 with an .827 OPS, eight home runs, eight stolen bases, 16 RBI, 21 runs scored and four doubles over 41 contests. He is seeing a majority of his playing time at second base but can fill in all around the diamond.
