Semien went 3-for-4 with three singles and a walk in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Rangers.

After an outstanding 2019 in which he hit .285/.369/.522 with 33 home runs, Semien has struggled a bit in the first half of the shortened 2020 campaign. He will hope that his three singles Monday can get him going on the right track after hitting just .219/.275/.352 through the first 30 games. Despite his struggles, Semien appears to still have a stranglehold on everyday leadoff duties atop the Oakland lineup.

Biggio went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored Monday against the Rays.

Biggio provided Toronto with an insurance run in the top of the ninth inning, coming through with an RBI double to right field. He's now reached base safely in 17 straight games, batting .350 with 11 extra-base hits and 11 RBI over that stretch.

The Yankees placed Torres (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list Monday.

Torres' move to the IL was a forgone conclusion after manager Aaron Boone told Bryan Hoch of MLB.com on Saturday that the shortstop would be sidelined for 2-to-3 weeks, but the Yankees waited a few days to make the transaction official after the team had its weekend series versus the Mets postponed. Boone said that Tyler Wade will serve as the Yankees' primary shortstop until Torres is deemed ready to return from the IL.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Sunday that Estrada will serve as the team's primary second baseman while DJ LeMahieu (thumb) is on the 10-day injured list, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.

The Yankees are breaking in two new starters in the middle infield, as Boone noted that Tyler Wade will step in as the main option at shortstop while Gleyber Torres (hamstring) is sidelined for 2-to-3 weeks. While the prospect of a full-time role increases Estrada's fantasy appeal, his lack of power and so-so hit tool render him a fairly low-upside option, making him best suited for AL-only or deeper mixed leagues.

Haggerty went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Rangers.

Haggerty provided the Mariners with a little insurance when he went deep for his first career major-league homer in the fifth inning. He's hit safely in all five games he's appeared in this year, batting .300 with a homer, three RBI, three runs scored and two steals across 21 plate appearances. As long as Haggerty hits well, he's likely to stay near the top of the batting order.

Arroyo cleared waivers and was outrighted to Boston's alternate camp in Pawtucket, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

Arroyo spent just one day on the 28-man roster prior to being designated for assignment by the Red Sox, but he'll head to the alternate training site after clearing waivers. The 25-year-old hit .229 with seven RBI and 18 strikeouts over 50 at-bats with the Rays last year.

Haggerty will start in left field and will bat second Sunday against the Rangers.

Haggerty will be making his fifth straight start in left field after going 5-for-17 with two doubles, two stolen bases, two runs and an RBI through his first four games with Seattle. With Dylan Moore (wrist) recently moving to the injured list and Dee Gordon sitting on a .352 OPS for the season, Haggerty should continue to get a look in a full-time role so long as he keeps churning out quality plate appearances.

Rengifo is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.

Rengifo had started in five of the Angels' last eight games, but his opportunities may be limited moving forward after Andrelton Simmons (ankle) was reinstated from the injured list Friday. With Simmons back as the team's everyday shortstop and the combination of David Fletcher and Tommy La Stella on hand to make starts at the keystone, the Angels no longer have regular room for Rengifo in the middle infield.

Torres (hamstring) said Sunday that he's hopeful to return from the 10-day injured list in two weeks, Marly Rivera of ESPN.com reports. "I'm hopeful that it will be two [weeks], but it's about finding that balance of not coming back too early so I can stay healthy the rest of the season," Torres said.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone estimated Saturday that Torres would be sidelined for 2-to-3 weeks with the strained left hamstring, so the player is seemingly optimistic that he'll be able to reach the short end of that recovery timeline. According to Erik Boland of Newsday, Torres was on the field Sunday for the Yankees' full-squad workout, but the shortstop estimated that he was only going through light activities at about "50 percent." Torres said he expects to advance to full activities -- including facing live pitching -- at some point during the upcoming week, but until he's ready to go, Boone suggested that Tyler Wade would serve as the Yankees' primary shortstop, per Boland.

Arraez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals.

Arraez started in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Royals and went 1-for-4 with a base hit after missing the previous three contests with a knee injury. The Twins haven't indicated Arraez suffered a setback in his return to action, so he's likely just getting some extra maintenance as the team concludes its series in Kansas City with an afternoon game.
