Mets' Amed Rosario: Three hits in win over Dodgers
Rosario went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and an RBI in Wednesday's 7-3 win over the Dodgers.
It's his seventh multi-hit performance in his last 10 games, and Rosario now boasts a .318/.346/.457 slash line in 30 games since the beginning of August with three homers, nine steals, 17 RBI and 23 runs. The 22-year-old appears to be developing into the offensive threat his minor-league numbers suggested he could be.

Marte went 2-for-3 with an RBI, a run scored and a stolen base in Tuesday's win over the Padres.
Marte plated a run in the second inning with a sacrifice fly, then later came around to score himself after reaching on a single in the seventh. The 24-year-old is 8-for-26 (.308) with a pair of extra-base hits over his last eight games, bringing his slash line on the season to .251/.322/.410.

Mets' Jeff McNeil: On bench Tuesday
McNeil is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Dodgers.
McNeil is hitting a solid .323/.390/.465 with two homers and four stolen bases across 39 games this season, but he'll head to the bench with left-hander Rich Hill starting for the Dodgers. Wilmer Flores will start at the keystone in his stead.

Marlins' Christopher Bostick: Back with big club
Bostick was recalled from Triple-A New Orleans on Tuesday, Andre Fernandez of the Miami Herald reports.
Bostick has appeared in just four big-league games this season, two with the Pirates and two with the Marlins, going 1-for-3 with a walk and a double. The 25-year-old hit a combined .295/.354/.414 across 97 games in the minors. He'll serve as a depth piece down the stretch.

Mets' Amed Rosario: Swipes 18th base
Rosario went 3-for-5 with a stolen base Monday against the Dodgers.

Adam Frazier 2B | LAA
Pirates' Adam Frazier: Collects four hits, homer in win
Frazier went 4-for-4 with a homer, a double, three RBI and an additional run scored in Monday's win over the Reds.
Frazier took Matt Harvey deep in the first inning to put the Pirates up 1-0, and he added a two-run single in the seventh to extend the lead to 5-0. He added another single and a double, notching his first four-hit game of the season while falling just a triple shy of the cycle. Frazier is now hitting an impressive .352 across 33 second-half games, raising his season average from .239 to .288 over that stretch. His recent form could keep him in the lineup on a more frequent basis down the stretch, especially with Josh Harrison seemingly still dealing with a balky hamstring.

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: On bench for series opener

Ozzie Albies 2B | ATL
Braves' Ozzie Albies: Swipes 13th base
Albies went 2-for-4 with an RBI and stolen base Sunday against the Pirates.
Albies delivered an RBI single in the eighth inning and stole his 13th base of the season later in the frame. The RBI marked his first since Aug. 13, and in 67 at-bats since, he has managed just 15 hits -- one for extra-bases -- with seven runs scored. Even with that downturn, the 21-year-old is pacing toward a 25-homer and 15-steal season.

Kelby Tomlinson 2B | SF
Giants' Kelby Tomlinson: Rejoins big club
The Giants recalled Tomlinson from Triple-A Sacramento ahead of Sunday's game against the Mets.
As has been the case in his previous stints with the big club this season, the 28-year-old will be in line for a utility role during the final month of the campaign. Tomlinson, who has slashed .226/.284/.290 across 134 plate appearances with the Giants this season, likely won't pick up more than one or two starts per week.

Nick Franklin 2B | PIT
Brewers' Nick Franklin: Activated and outrighted
The Brewers activated Franklin (quadriceps) from the 60-day disabled list Sunday and outrighted him to Triple-A Colorado Springs.
Franklin, who was in the midst of a rehab assignment at High-A Carolina, had been sidelined since early May with the right quad strain. The utility man appears to be fully healthy at this point, but the Brewers don't have much of a need for Franklin with Tyler Saladino and Hernan Perez capable of playing three infield spots and Jacob Nottingham on hand as the team's No. 3 catcher. Franklin will finish out the season in the Pacific Coast League before hitting free agency this winter, when he'll likely have to settle for a minor-league deal.
