  • Miguel Rojas SS | LAD

Dodgers' Miguel Rojas: Drives in three runs in loss

Rojas went 2-for-2 with a home run and three total RBI in a loss to the Astros on Saturday.

Rojas plated three of the Dodgers' four runs in the contest, knocking an RBI single in the second inning and adding a two-run homer in the fourth. He's been displaying more than his usual amount of power of late, homering three times in 21 at-bats over his past 11 games. Rojas had gone deep just once over his first 41 contests, and he's never hit more than 11 home runs in an MLB season, so fantasy managers shouldn't see him as a reliable source of power.

  • Padres' Jake Cronenworth: Goes deep in loss

Cronenworth went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, an additional run and a walk Saturday in a loss to the Rangers.

Cronenworth logged the Padres' only extra-base hit with a two-run blast in the second inning. He added a single in the fourth frame for his first multi-hit effort over his past 13 games. It's been a grind for Cronenworth of late, as he's batting just .184 (7-for-38) over his past 12 contests. He does have three home runs and eight RBI over that span, though.

  • Jazz Chisholm CF | NYY

Yankees' Jazz Chisholm: Belts 15th homer

Chisholm went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk against the Mets in a loss Saturday.

Chisholm put the Yankees on the board with a 387-foot solo shot in the first inning, The veteran third baseman has now gone deep five times over his past 10 games, compiling 10 RBI and scoring seven runs during that span. Chisholm has been quite productive when healthy this season, registering a .245/.341/.500 slash line, 15 home runs, 38 RBI, 34 runs and 10 stolen bases over just 59 contests.

  • Gleyber Torres 2B | DET

Tigers' Gleyber Torres: Removed as precaution

Torres (neck) suggested after Saturday's 1-0 win over the Guardians that he will be fine forward, and manager A.J. Hinch confirmed that Torres was taken out in the first inning as a precaution, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Torres took an elbow from Brayan Rocchio to the neck during a slide at second base and it unsettled him, but the infielder appears to have sustained only a minor injury. Torres is hitting .309 with four home runs, 18 runs, 15 RBI and zero steals over his last 25 games.

  • Edmundo Sosa 3B | PHI

Phillies' Edmundo Sosa: Keeps mashing left-handed pitching

Sosa went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Reds.

Sosa belted his third homer of the campaign, also drawing the start at second base in favor the lefty-hitting Bryson Stott versus southpaw Nick Lodolo. As long as Philadelphia's infield stays healthy, the righty-hitting Sosa should continue to be used sparingly in a weak-side platoon role at the keystone. The 29-year-old utility man has been very effective in that role, hitting .361 (12-for-61) with three homers, three doubles and 10 RBI against left-handed pitching this season.

  • Gleyber Torres 2B | DET

Tigers' Gleyber Torres: Suffers neck contusion

Torres exited Saturday's game against the Guardians with a neck contusion.

Brayan Rocchio's elbow made contact with Torres' head/neck area while Torres was sliding into second base Saturday. Trey Sweeney replaced Torres with Javier Baez sliding to second base. Torres should be considered day-to-day for now.

  • Gleyber Torres 2B | DET

Tigers' Gleyber Torres: Exits after taking elbow to face

Torres left Saturday's game against the Guardians after taking an elbow to the face while sliding into second base, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Evan Woodbery of MLive.com speculates that Torres was being evaluated for a concussion after being down in the dirt for a while after Brayan Rocchio caught him with an elbow while Torres was sliding short of second base. Trey Sweeney entered the game at shortstop while Javier Baez shifted to second base.

  • DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY

Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Sitting out Saturday

LeMahieu isn't in the starting lineup Saturday versus the Mets.

LeMahieu is sitting for the second time in New York's past three games while Oswald Peraza gets a start at the keystone. LeMahieu has posted a mediocre .659 OPS through 43 contests this season, but he's been better of late with four hits (all singles) and two walks over his last 11 plate appearances.

  • Ketel Marte 2B | ARI

    Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Idle Saturday

Marte isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Royals, Jose M. Romero of The Arizona Republic reports.

Ketel has gone 4-for-12 with two home runs over his last three games but will retreat to the dugout for Saturday's contest, Blaze Alexander will take over at the keystone and bat ninth.

  • Andres Gimenez 2B | TOR

Blue Jays' Andres Gimenez: Not in lineup after hurting ankle

Gimenez (ankle) isn't in Saturday's starting lineup against the Angels.

Gimenez initially hurt his ankle Wednesday against the Yankees and missed one game before returning to action Friday. However, he was removed from that contest after apparently tweaking the injury on the basepaths, and he's now being held out Saturday. Gimenez underwent an MRI following Friday's game, but results of the imaging haven't yet been shared. With Gimenez out of action Saturday, Davis Schneider is starting at second base.
