Gonzalez was optioned to Triple-A Charlotte on Tuesday.

Gonzalez was called up when rosters expanded at the start of September. He got into 10 games, hitting an unremarkable .250/.273/.344 in 33 trips to the plate. He'll return to the minors to make room for Adam Engel (shoulder), who was activated off the injured list.

Andrus went 2-for-2 with a run in a loss to the Mariners on Monday.

A one-game absence Friday due to a foot injury has done nothing to cool off Andrus' red-hot September bat, as he's gone 4-for-9 with a walk and a run in the three contests following his return. The veteran shortstop's season slash line currently sits at .245/.293/.324, with the first two figures at their highest point since a 1-for-3 effort way back on Opening Day.

Gimenez went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in the second game of Monday's doubleheader against the Royals.

After going 0-for-3 during the matinee, Gimenez got Cleveland on the board in the nightcap by taking Joel Payamps deep in the third inning. The 23-year-old only has four homers in 22 big-league games on the year, but two of them have come in the last four contests. Since being recalled in August, Gimenez is slashing a tepid .225/.307/.348 with six steals, eight RBI and 10 runs in 31 games.

Lopez went 4-for-8 with a double and three runs scored in Monday's doubleheader against Cleveland.

Getting the start at shortstop and hitting second in both games, Lopez did an exceptional job setting the table and helping the Royals to a sweep. The 26-year-old has hit safely in five straight games and 16 of the last 17, slashing .397/.429/.493 over that latter stretch with one homer, two steals, seven RBI and 17 runs.

Urias went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Monday's 5-2 loss to the Cardinals.

Urias went deep off Jon Lester in the second inning for his 21st home run of the year. Urias has been used in an everyday role over the last two weeks with Willy Adames on the injured list. However, with Adames now officially reinstated, Urias may be the odd man out on playing time in the infield with Kolten Wong manning second base, Adames at shortstop and Eduardo Escobar at the hot corner. The 24-year-old Urias will certainly be given opportunities to hit and is now slashing .249/.342/.445 with 21 homers, 70 RBI, 73 runs scored, five steals and 57:107 BB:K over 531 plate appearances.

Ibanez started at designated hitter and went 2-for-4 in Monday's 4-3 loss to the Yankees.

Ibanez was activated off the injured list last Friday and, after not playing that night, has been in the starting lineup three straight games. He's served as DH twice and played second base in the other. Ibanez has been one of the team's better bats since the All-Star break, slashing .307/.358/.489 over 148 plate appearances.

Semien went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 6-4 loss to the Rays.

Semien made the game interesting late after slugging a two-run shot off David Robertson in the ninth to make it a 6-4 ballgame. The 30-year-old has at least a hit in 17 of 19 games and is fourth in baseball with 41 homers. Currently playing on a one-year prove-it contract, all Semien has done this year is prove his worth, as he's slashing .270/.340/.544 with 81 extra-base hits, 97 RBI, 108 runs scored, 15 steals and 63:136 BB:K over 670 plate appearances.

Marte started at second base and went 3-for-4 with three doubles and an RBI in Monday's 11-4 loss to Atlanta.

Marte's three doubles give him 26 in 79 games this season and raised his slugging to a team-high .542. This was the third straight start at second base and fourth in the last five contests for Marte, who has been Arizona's primary center fielder this season when healthy. He may not be done as an outfielder, but the Diamondbacks have talked for a couple of seasons about splitting his duties more evenly between the outfield and infield as a way to sustain his long-term health. Daulton Varsho started in center field Monday.

Torres went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a walk in Monday's 4-3 win over Texas.

Torres knocked an RBI single as part of the Yankees' three-run third inning. He has hits in 10 of his last 11 games, going 13-for-41 (.317) during that span. The 224-year-old infielder is slashing .256/.328/.352 with 46 RBI and 26 extra-base hits through 471 plate appearances this season.

Kemp is not in the lineup Monday against the Mariners, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Kemp is 3-for-16 with seven walks in his past six games and will take a seat for the second time in the past three days. Josh Harrison will work at the keystone while Chad Pinder starts in the outfield Monday.
