Altuve is out of the lineup Sunday against the Twins, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Altuve started the past 27 games and will receive the day off for Sunday's series finale. Aledmys Diaz will shift to the keystone while Jacob Wilson starts at third base for Houston.

Rosario is out of the lineup Sunday against the Tigers.

Rosario started the past 60 games for Cleveland and will receive his first day off since late May. He's hitting well in 21 games since the All-Star break with a .781 OPS. Andres Gimenez will start at shortstop Sunday in his absence.

Lowe went 2-for-5 with a grand slam, a double, a walk and an additional run and RBI in the Rays' 12-3 win over the Orioles on Saturday.

The offensive outburst put an end to a short-term skid at the plate for Lowe, who had slashed .143/.231/.314 over his previous nine contests. He served as the Rays' leadoff man Saturday, and he'll fill that role again Sunday while picking up another start at the keystone. Expect Lowe to stick atop the lineup regularly against right-handed pitching.

Albies will start at second base and bat leadoff Sunday against the Nationals.

Batting out of the table-setting spot for the seventh game in a row, Albies appears to have supplanted Joc Pederson as Atlanta's preferred leadoff option versus both right- and left-handed pitching. However, Albies may need to start delivering better results to ensure he sticks atop the order. Over his first six starts in August, Albies has gone 3-for-24 while reaching base at a .250 clip.

Chavis went 3-for-4 with a home run, two doubles, two RBI and four runs for Triple-A Indianapolis in its 13-1 win over Iowa on Saturday. He also reached base on a pair of hit-by-pitches.

After being acquired from the Red Sox prior to last week's trade deadline, Chavis was expected to immediately join the big club, but Pittsburgh instead optioned him to Indianapolis. Chavis has taken the assignment in stride, going 7-for-16 with six extra-base hits and a stolen base through his first four contests with Indianapolis. He'll likely be the Pirates' top option for a call-up if the team requires another infielder over the final two months of the season.

Arizona manager Torey Lovullo said Rojas (finger) could be reinstated off the 10-day injured list Tuesday, when the Diamondbacks play the Giants in San Francisco, Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic reports.

Rojas kicked off a rehab assignment at Triple-A Reno on Friday, playing seven innings at shortstop, then he played nine innings Saturday as the designated hitter. He's expected to start in the field Sunday.

Urias provided a two-run, pinch-hit home run in Saturday's loss to San Francisco.

Urias was summoned from the bench in the 10th inning and took Jarlin Garcia deep to center field to pull the Brewers to within 5-4. It was the 14th homer of the season for Urias, who's been converted to more of a utility role following the trade-deadline acquisition of Eduardo Escobar. Saturday's homer was Urias' first since July 16 and snapped a 4-for-35 (.114) skid that had spanned his previous 14 games.

Rodgers exited Saturday's game with a right hand contusion, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

The infielder is day-to-day with the injury, and it's unclear if he'll be able to play in Sunday's series finale against Miami.

Rodgers left Saturday's game against the Marlins after his right hand was hit by a pitch, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

It's unclear whether Rodgers' wrist or hand is the issue, and he should be considered day-to-day until the Rockies provide an update. Ryan McMahon entered the game to pinch run for Rodgers.

Espinal is not in the lineup for Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Red Sox.

Espinal went 0-for-2 with a strikeout in the afternoon contest and is now hitting .235 in 34 at-bats since the All-Star break. Breyvic Valera will start at third base and bat eighth Saturday night.
