Lopez is not starting Tuesday against the Tigers.

Lopez has gone hitless in three straight games, immediately following a stretch in which he recorded a hit in 12 straight games. Humberto Arteaga starts at second base in his absence.

Hernandez is expected to make the majority of his starts at second base versus left-handed pitching moving forward after manager Dave Roberts confirmed Monday that rookie Gavin Lux is the team's primary option at the position, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.

The top prospect was called up ahead of Monday's 16-9 win over the Rockies and had a debut to remember, going 2-for-5 with three runs scored. Hernandez was bumped out of the starting nine as a result, though he still went on to record a hit in three at-bats while replacing a banged-up Joc Pederson (abdomen) in right field midway through the contest. Hernandez's ability to play all over the infield and outfield means that Lux's arrival won't be the death knell to the veteran's fantasy value, though it certainly isn't an ideal development. Finding playing time versus right-handed pitching will only become more difficult for Hernandez once Max Muncy (wrist) and Alex Verdugo (oblique) return from the 10-day injured list, perhaps as soon as Sept. 10.

Lux went 2-for-5 with a double and three runs scored in his big-league debut Monday against the Rockies.

Lux, who is the Dodgers' top prospect and a top-three prospect in the game, shined in his big-league debut. He laced a first-pitch single to center field in the second inning and then banged a double to the right-center wall later in the game. Lux did not walk or strike out. The Dodgers did the right thing by adding him to the 40-man roster for the final month. Now that he is up, he should play close to every day down the stretch.

Arraez went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored Monday against the Tigers.

Arraez registered his 13th double of the season in a 4-3 win, and he also reached base three times. The 22-year-old continues to see the ball well in his rookie season, slashing .340/.404/.440 with three homers and 22 RBI over 70 games.

Marte went 2-for-5 with a double, a home run and four RBI in Monday's 14-7 win over the Padres.

Marte launched homer number 29 on Monday to go along with his 30th double. Throw in his eight triples and the infielder/outfielder leads the Diamondbacks in slugging (.577). Since returning from a hamstring over the weekend, Marte's been relegated to second base only.

Rojas went 4-for-5 with a double, a solo home run, two RBI and three runs scored in Monday's 14-7 win over the Padres.

Rojas had hit a skid, going hitless over five games, but has responded with a five-game hitting streak. He's 8-for-19 with two doubles, two homers and five RBI during the streak.

McNeil went 1-for-4 with a walk and a two-run home run in Monday's 7-3 win over the Nationals.

The 27-year-old has been having a bit of poor BABIP luck since recovering from a hamstring strain in late August, going 5-for-27 (.185) over his last seven games, but he's still putting a jolt into the ball -- including Monday's performance, four of his last six hits have gone for extra bases (two doubles, two homers). On the year, McNeil's slashing .322/.389/.523 with 17 home runs and 59 RBI, and he remains in the race for the NL batting title.

Forsythe is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Yankees.

He'll head to the bench after starting four of the past five games, clearing the way for Ronald Guzman and Danny Santana to handle the two corner-infield spots. With Guzman back as a September callup and rookie Nick Solak also making a case for regular work in the Texas infield, Forsythe could see his role downsized during the season's final month.

Marte started at second base and went 1-for-5 with a run scored in Sunday's 4-3 extra-innings loss to the Dodgers.

Marte was back in action after missing two games with a right hamstring injury. It's the same injury that popped up at the beginning of last week. That he was able to score from second base on an infield hit is a good sign the hamstring has healed.

Lux was officially promoted to the Dodgers on Sunday.

Lux is MLB.com's ninth-ranked overall prospect and will be called up to the big leagues ahead of a six-game homestand for the Dodgers. Lux has made 18 starts at second base this season while playing with Triple-A Oklahoma City, and that is exactly where he will find himself Monday as he will pick up his first start against the Rockies at home.
