Forsythe went 1-for-3 with a walk and two RBI in Thursday's 7-6 loss to the Red Sox.

Ronald Guzman took a seat against Boston left-hander David Price, so the right-handed hitting Forsythe took over at first base. The move by manager Chris Woodward was a prescient one, as Forsythe drilled a two-run single as part of the Rangers' four-run first inning. The single snapped a string of 17 at-bats without a hit for Forsythe, who has settled into a backup role since injured starters returned to action. He's appeared in eight of the last 15 games, with six of them starts.

Torres went 2-for-3 with with a walk and a run scored in the Yankees' 5-4 loss to the White Sox on Thursday.

Torres missed a couple games with a sore shoulder last week, but he's rattled off a multi-hit effort in back-to-back games, so he looks healthy and back on track at the dish. The 22-year-old infielder has done the majority of his damage against the Orioles this season, with 10 of his 14 long balls coming against the Yankees' divisional foes, but his overall numbers are still solid, as he's slashing .284/.336/.517 through 236 at-bats.

Miller went 2-for-4 with a double and a pair of runs for Double-A Amarillo on Thursday.

Miller continues to hit well in his first season in Double-A, as he's now slashing .296/.354/.424 with six homers and 34 RBI through 250 at-bats. Top prospect Luis Urias is expected to get called up to the Padres from Triple-A El Paso sometime this month, which could open up a spot for Miller to move up, as Urias has been getting a lot of time at shortstop for the Chihuahuas.

Edwards went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and three runs for Low-A Fort Wayne on Thursday.

Edwards has cooled a little bit since his blazing hot start to the season for the TinCaps that at one point saw him hitting .378, but not by much. This multi-hit effort brings the 19-year-old's slash line up to .349/.402/.410 through 229 at-bats as he continues to toy with Midwest League pitching. He has little left to prove in Low-A, although his youth and lack of power (he still has yet to homer at the professional level) could mean the Padres will wait at least a little while longer before bumping him up a level.

Biggio finished 2-for-4 with two solo home runs, a walk and three runs scored during Thursday's 12-3 win over the Orioles.

Biggio came in with one hit in his last 23 at-bats, but he ended that drought with a solo home run in the second inning. He later walked and scored before adding another solo shot in the seventh. Biggio hasn't yet enjoyed any sustained success at the MLB level and will hope to generate some momentum from this notable performance.

Lopez went 2-for-4 with a home run and another run scored in Thursday's 7-3 win over the Tigers.

Lopez got the ball rolling for the Royals offense with a solo home run off Matthew Boyd in the second inning, then singled and scored in the fourth. The long ball was Lopez's first in the big leagues, but his second at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha where the Royals and White Sox faced off to promote the upcoming College World Series. Lopez formerly played at Creighton University, just six blocks away from the stadium. The 24-year-old got off to a hot start following his promotion to the majors in May but has since slowed down. Through 25 games, he's hitting .216/.259/.314 along with 11 runs scored, five RBI and one stolen base.

Andrus went 3-for-5 with three RBI and a run scored in the Rangers' 7-6 defeat to the Red Sox on Thursday.

Andrus is locked in at the dish at the moment, as he's now hit safely in 11 of his last 12 games, posting six multi-hit efforts over that span. The hot streak brings the 30-year-old shortstop's slash line on the season to .313/.349/.469 to go along with six homers and 38 RBI through 243 at-bats.

Contrary to previous reports, Arroyo was not optioned to Triple-A Durham on Wednesday; he was placed on the 10-day injured list with an elbow injury, Josh Tolentino of The Athletic reports.

Arroyo apparently picked up the injury during Wednesday's loss to the Athletics, during which he started at third base and went 2-for-4 with a run scored. Specifics regarding the issue are not yet known, leaving his return date unclear. Hunter Wood was recalled from Triple-A in a corresponding roster move.

Albies went 2-for-5 with a walk, two doubles, an RBI and a stolen base in Wednesday's 8-7 extra-innings win over the Pirates.

The 22-year-old's second two-bagger of the night was the big one, as it brought Austin Riley home in the bottom of the 11th to win the game for Atlanta. Albies has quietly been on fire from the bottom of the order lately -- he's reached base safely in 18 of his last 19 games, slashing .313/.420/.537 with three homers, nine RBI, nine runs and a stellar 12:9 BB:K, but routinely hitting seventh or eighth hasn't done him any favors on the basepaths. Wednesday's steal was only his fifth of the year, and first since May 6.

Arroyo was optioned to Triple-A Durham following Wednesday's loss to the Athletics, Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Arroyo received the start at third base Wednesday and went 2-for-4 with a run scored, but he will nonetheless head back to Triple-A with Joey Wendle (wrist) returning from the injured list. Arroyo has struggled in the majors this season overall with a .220/.304/.380 slash line and 18 strikeouts in 57 plate appearances.
