Gorman went 2-for-5 with a pair of home runs and five RBI for Low-A Peoria in its 10-6 win over Wisconsin on Monday.

The Cardinals' top prospect struggled in his first exposure to the Midwest League late last season, but he's faced little resistance in his return to Peoria. Through five games, Gorman has recorded 10 hits in 21 at-bats, with six going for extra bases.

Altuve went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 4-3 win over the Yankees.

The homer was Altuve's second of the season and his third RBI since Houston returned home after a season-opening road trip. Altuve is 6-for-16 with three runs, a homer and three RBI in four games back at Minute Maid Park.

Merrifield went 2-for-4 with a run scored in Monday's 13-5 loss to Seattle.

Dating back the 2018 campaign, Merrifield has a hit in 29 consecutive games. Over the last four games, he's collected eight hits and five runs scored, raising his season average to a robust .342.

Urias will be recalled from Triple-A El Paso, Dennis Lin of The Athletic reports.

Franchy Cordero (elbow) is headed to the injured list, opening up a spot on the active roster for Urias. The 21-year-old was expected to open the season with the big club but was sent to the minors shortly before the season in a surprise move. Through four games with El Paso, Urias is slashing .333/.400/.556 with a homer and a stolen base (18 at-bats). He'll likely fill a reserve infield role during his time with the Padres, though Urias could push for playing time at the keystone if Ian Kinsler continues to struggle. Urias is starting at second base and hitting leadoff in his first game with the big club.

Lux went 4-for-4 with a home run, a triple a walk and three RBI on Sunday in Double-A Tulsa's 10-1 win over Springfield.

Lux closed out the 2018 season at Tulsa in impressive fashion and is off to a hot start in his return to the Texas League. The 21-year-old should get the call to Triple-A Oklahoma City at some point this summer, but the Dodgers would probably prefer to delay his service clock and push back a big-league promotion until 2020. Unless the Dodgers lose multiple key middle infielders to long-term injuries, the trio of Corey Seager, Enrique Hernandez and Chris Taylor should be enough to keep Lux on the farm this season.

Dubon went 5-for-7 with a double, four runs and three steals over his last two games with Triple-A San Antonio.

Dubon missed almost all of last season after tearing his ACL in May, but his recovery went as expected, and he was able to make it back for the start of this year's minor-league season. Dubon was on the verge of making his big-league debut last year at the time of his injury, so chances are that will occur at some point this season. Over 490 games and 1,881 at-bats in the minors, Dubon has been successful on 120 of his 162 stolen-base attempts -- good for a 74.1 percent success rate -- and is hitting an even .300 with a .349 OBP.

McNeil went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI in Sunday's loss to the Nationals.

The 27-year-old was held out of Saturday's starting nine due to some minor knee soreness, but he looked none the worse for wear in his return to the leadoff spot. McNeil is still looking for his first homer or steal, but his sizzling .409/.519/.591 slash line through eight games comes with five runs and four RBI. He's also on the cusp of adding significant position flex -- he entered the season qualifying at second base in most formats, but McNeil has already made four appearances each at third base and left field in 2019.

Arroyo was optioned to Triple-A Durham on Monday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Arroyo will leave the roster just one day after recording a multi-hit game. He could be up and down throughout the season whenever the Rays need a utility infielder. Reliever Hunter Wood takes his place on the roster.

Arroyo went 2-for-3 with a pair of base hits and an RBI in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Giants.

Manager Kevin Cash wanted to stock the lineup with more right-handed bats to counter Giants southpaw Drew Pomeranz, so Arroyo picked up his second start for the Rays since being promoted from Triple-A Durham earlier last week. Arroyo was able to capitalize on the opportunity, but it still doesn't appear he'll be in line for steady at-bats while he's up with the big club. Even with the Rays facing another lefty Monday in the White Sox's Carlos Rodon, Arroyo will find himself back on the bench.

Manager Chris Woodward said Forsythe will initially be the primary replacement for Ronald Guzman (hamstring) at first base, T.R. Sullivan of MLB.com reports.

The Rangers called up Patrick Wisdom, another infielder like Forsythe that has limited experience at first base. "If anything, at the beginning, I'm going to get Logan some more at-bats. Wisdom will play, no question. I'm not saying either one will be the everyday first baseman." It sounds like the situation is a fluid one, and if Wisdom becomes the more productive hitter, then he will get the greater share of at-bats at first base. If Guzman's injury lingers longer than the projected three-to-four week prognosis, then Woodward said the Rangers could revisit the decision to use Forsythe and Wisdom as the team's solution at first.
