Lowe is out of the lineup for Tuesday's contest against the Angels, Kristie Ackert of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Southpaw Patrick Sandoval will be on the hill for the Halos, so the left-handed hitting Lowe will take a seat. Osleivis Basabe is getting a start at second base for the Rays.

Gimenez went 3-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Monday's 6-4 loss to the Royals.

Gimenez has multiple hits in five of his last eight games, and he's batting .350 (21-for-60) in September. The steal was his seventh of the month, giving him 29 thefts on 33 attempts this season. The second baseman's strong hitting has him up to a .248/.315/.388 slash line with 13 home runs, 57 RBI and 69 runs scored through 144 contests. While it's nowhere near his .297/.371/.466 slash line from 2022, Gimenez has shown off his skills late in the campaign.

Rodgers went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run scored in Monday's 11-9 loss to the Padres.

Rodgers has three multi-hit efforts in a row and a five-game hitting streak. He's struggled to generate runs lately, as he had just three RBI over his previous 22 contests before knocking in a pair of runs on RBI singles in the second and ninth innings Monday. Rodgers is slashing .252/.317/.315 with no home runs, 14 RBI, 16 runs scored, six doubles and a triple through 34 games this season.

Caballero went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, a stolen base and an additional run scored in Monday's 5-0 win over the Athletics.

Caballero was stuck in a brutal slump prior to Monday -- he'd gone 0-for-18 over his last 13 contests, which had effectively removed him from consistent playing time. The homer was just his fourth of the season and his first since June 28. The infielder is at a .225/.351/.329 slash line with 26 RBI, 36 runs scored and 26 steals through 271 plate appearances. Most of his at-bats for the remainder of the year will likely be against left-handed pitchers, though he can also provide speed off the bench.

Stefanic was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake on Monday.

Stefanic was optioned to Triple-A nearly two weeks ago, but he'll return to the Angels after Kyren Paris (thumb) was placed on the 60-day IL and Jordyn Adams was sent down. Stefanic is slashing .148/.303/.185 with three RBI and four runs scored through 14 games this year.

Rojas is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the A's.

Rojas still has not started against a southpaw since joining the Mariners, so it should come as no surprise that he is opening on the bench Monday with left-hander JP Sears on the bump for Oakland.

Kim "is still experiencing some abdominal discomfort," Annie Heilbrunn of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Kim was scratched from the lineup for Sunday's contest due to the soreness, and according to the report the team is still trying to identify what exactly is ailing him. One way or another, Kim will not start Monday for a second straight day.

Sosa is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Nationals, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Sosa is on the bench for the fifth time in seven games and appears to have lost his grip on the everyday role at second base, with veteran Elvis Andrus re-emerging as the top option at the position. Since the beginning of September, Sosa has mustered a lowly .446 OPS in nine games.

Andrus will start at second base and bat ninth in Monday's game in Washington, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Andrus had appeared to move into a utility role toward the end of August, but he'll pick up his fourth consecutive start Monday and seems to have supplanted Lenyn Sosa as the White Sox's preferred option at the keystone. The 34-year-old is on an expiring deal and thus doesn't look to be a part of the White Sox's long-term plan in a non-contending season, but he's made it tough for manager Pedro Grifol to remove him from the lineup in recent weeks. Dating back to Aug. 1, Andrus has arguably been Chicago's top hitter overall, slashing .353/.375/.543 with four home runs and six stolen bases across a stretch of 33 games.

Urias will start at second base and bat eighth Monday against the Rangers.

Urias will stick in the lineup for the sixth time in seven games and looks to have usurped Pablo Reyes as the Red Sox's preferred option at the keystone. The 26-year-old hasn't seemed to earn the extra playing time based on his performance, however; he's slashing just .185/.313/.259 with a 34.4 percent strikeout rate thus far in September.
