Muncy went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and an additional RBI in Sunday's 23-9 loss to the Rockies.

Muncy has started five of six games at third base since returning from a broken hand Monday. He has gone 4-for-18 (.222) with seven RBI in those contests. For the season, the infielder is batting .236 with a .707 OPS, three homers, 14 RBI, 18 runs scored, six doubles, two triples and two stolen bases over 31 games. With Muncy working his way back to regular status in the lineup, it appears Zack Gelof will primarily compete with Jeff McNeil for playing time at second base, though all but one of Muncy's starts since his return have come against southpaws.

Paredes is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals.

Raynel Delgado will make his first career MLB start while covering at third base in place of Paredes, who appears to be receiving a routine day off. Paredes had started 15 straight games, slashing .192/.333/.500 with four home runs, 13 RBI and nine runs during that stretch.

Wisdom is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

After making five consecutive starts and going 2-for-18 with two walks and a run, Wisdom has been relegated to the bench for the Mariners' subsequent four contests. Miles Mastrobuoni has been the main option at third base since coming off the 60-day injured list Wednesday, but he'll shift into a utility role once J.P. Crawford (hand) makes his return from the 10-day IL on Tuesday. When Crawford gets activated, Wisdom could be at risk of being pushed off the roster.

Mastrobuoni will start at third base and bat seventh in Sunday's game against the Nationals.

Since being reinstated from the 60-day injured list Wednesday, Mastrobuoni has gotten five straight starts (four at third base, one at second) while going 3-for-13 with a walk, a stolen base, two runs and an RBI. His run of regular playing time will likely come to an end Tuesday, however, with J.P. Crawford (hand) set to return from the 10-day IL and bump Mastrobuoni into a utility role.

Mayo is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.

Mayo will be on the bench for the third time in five games, with the Orioles having faced right-handed pitchers in each of those contests. He appears to have faded into a timeshare at the position with Blaze Alexander, who will receive the starting nod Sunday. Since the beginning of June, Mayo has slugged three home runs, but he's hitting just .184 and has struck out a 43.6 percent clip.

The Guardians placed Ramirez (hand) on the 10-day injured list Sunday, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.

The move was a foregone conclusion after the seven-time All-Star was diagnosed with a left hamate bone fracture following Saturday's game. Cleveland reinstated Gabriel Arias (wrist) from the 60-day IL in a corresponding move, and he and Daniel Schneemann are likely to be the primary options at third base while Ramirez is sidelined. The Guardians haven't provided an official target date for Ramirez's return, but recovery timelines for hamate bone fractures typically range from four to eight weeks.

Lewis went 2-for-4 with a double and a solo home run in Saturday's 9-6 loss to the Cardinals.

The 27-year-old continues to rake since returning to the majors in early June. After an 0-for-3 showing in his first game back, Lewis has hit safely in six straight contests, batting .435 (10-for-23) with two doubles, three homers, four runs and four RBI. Five of those seven starts have come at first base, and that appears to be Lewis' new defensive home while Brooks Lee remains at third base.

Gelof went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, a stolen base and a second run scored in Saturday's 7-5 win over the Rockies.

Gelof got the start in right field for this contest. He had been primarily playing second base or third base, but the recent returns of Max Muncy and Jacob Wilson have crowded the infield. Carlos Cortes has also slumped a bit lately, which could leave right field up for grabs. Gelof has been excellent at the plate, hitting safely in 17 straight games. He's gone 23-for-67 (.343) in that span while adding three homers, eight RBI and five doubles. Overall, he's batting .271 with a .791 OPS, nine homers, seven steals, 25 RBI, 30 runs scored, eight doubles and a triple over 54 contests this season.

Guzman went 2-for-4 with three RBI, a stolen base and one run scored in Saturday's 8-0 win over the Rays.

Guzman had a two-run single in the sixth inning and added another RBI single a frame later. The 22-year-old has been given a chance to compete for playing time at third base immediately after his call-up Monday, though the hot-hitting Nick Madrigal has made it a real challenge. Guzman has gone 4-for-18 with a double, four RBI, one run scored and one steal over four games so far. Guzman likely has the better long-term upside, though third base could remain a playing-time battle well into the second half of the season as the Angels await the return of Yoan Moncada (knee).

Walton went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Saturday's 8-0 win over the Rays.

Walton looked to be picking up more playing time early in June, but he's since slipped back into a bench role. The versatile defender has made his last two starts at designated hitter as Denzer Guzman and Nick Madrigal have been seeing more action at third base. Walton is batting .294 with a .706 OPS, no home runs, four doubles, three RBI, eight runs scored and no stolen bases over 55 plate appearances in the majors this season.
