Gunnar Henderson 3B | BAL
Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Sitting out with back issue
Henderson (back) is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's tilt in Philadelphia, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Henderson was forced to depart Tuesday's loss to the Phillies with lower back discomfort. He's feeling better, though, and expects to be ready to go Friday versus the Yankees following Thursday's off day. Jorge Mateo is at shortstop Wednesday.

Mike Moustakas 3B | CHW
Angels' Mike Moustakas: Drives in pair
Moustakas went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's win over Detroit.
Moustakas opened the scoring with a two-run double in the first inning, extending his hitting streak to four games -- he's gone 5-for-17 with two doubles and a home run over that span. Overall, the veteran infielder is slashing a respectable .258/.333/.447 with nine homers, 30 RBI and 31 runs scored across 216 plate appearances between Los Angeles and Colorado. Moustakas should continue to see regular playing time between first and third base while Brandon Drury (shoulder) and Anthony Rendon (shin) are sidelined.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Hitless in return
Moncada went 0-for-3 with an RBI against the Cubs on Tuesday.
Moncada returned from a six-week absence caused by a back issue to start at third base and hit fifth. He struck out twice but managed a sacrifice fly in the seventh inning. There was some concern about Moncada's potential for playing time given the power production of Jake Burger while Moncada was sidelined, though Burger slid to second base Tuesday. That could leave both Zach Remillard and Elvis Andrus as the biggest playing-time losers due to Moncada's return.

Zack Gelof 2B | ATH
Athletics' Zack Gelof: Picks up third steal
Gelof went 0-for-3 with a stolen base in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Giants.
Gelof's gone hitless in just three of his first 10 major-league games, with his 0-fer Tuesday ending a modest four-game streak. The second baseman was able to pick up his third steal and his first since he swiped two bags July 15. He's batting .250 with a home run, three RBI and six runs scored while often batting first or second in the Athletics' weak-hitting lineup.

Gunnar Henderson 3B | BAL
Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Exits with back injury
Henderson was removed from Tuesday's game against the Phillies due to lower back discomfort, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.
Henderson has dealt with back issues before this season -- he missed two games in early June with a similar injury. He should be considered day-to-day going forward.

Jake Burger 3B | TEX
White Sox's Jake Burger: Making first MLB start at 2B
Burger is making his first major-league start at second base in Tuesday's contest versus the Cubs, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Burger has made a few starts at second base in the minors and played a handful of innings there in the majors, but this will be the first time he's made a start at the keystone at the big-league level. It's a way to keep his bat in the lineup following the return of Yoan Moncada from the injured list, as Moncada is back at his customary third base Tuesday.

Ramon Urias 3B | STL
Orioles' Ramon Urias: Sitting out Tuesday
Urias is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game in Philadelphia, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Jordan Westburg will be getting the start at third base and Adam Frazier will man second base. Urias has collected just one hit over his last 14 at-bats.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Activated from injured list
Moncada (back) was activated from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, LaMond Pope of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Moncada has been limited to just 38 games this season due to a back injury that's led to a pair of IL stints. His most recent absence lasted six weeks, but he's ready to roll now following an eight-game rehab stint with Triple-A Charlotte. Moncada's return puts Jake Burger's playing time outlook in flux to a degree, although the White Sox have discussed the possibility of using him more at second base.

Josh Jung 3B | TEX
Rangers' Josh Jung: Belts 20th homer
Jung went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in a 10-9 loss to the Astros on Monday.
Jung helped Texas get off to a fast start, swatting a two-run shot to left field in the first inning. It was his 20th long ball of the campaign, most among AL rookies and second among all first-year players behind only Corbin Carroll. Jung's standout campaign also includes a .275/.326/.490 slash line, 61 RBI and 64 runs, though he also leads the majors with 122 strikeouts.

Maikel Garcia 3B | KC
Royals' Maikel Garcia: Lifts solo home run
Garcia went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 5-3 win over the Guardians.
The homer was Garcia's first since July 3. In the 15 games between long balls, the infielder hit .220 (13-for-59) with three doubles, seven RBI and three runs scored. He's been solid this season, slashing .279/.329/.386 with four homers, 29 RBI, 28 runs scored and 14 stolen bases through 278 plate appearances. He's been a near-everyday player since May, and he's been the Royals' preferred leadoff hitter for most of July.
