Matt Chapman 3B | SF
Blue Jays' Matt Chapman: Pops homer Monday
Chapman went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run scored in Monday's 6-3 extra-innings win over the Dodgers.
Chapman's eighth-inning blast briefly gave the Blue Jays a 3-2 lead. He snapped a 12-game homer drought, though he was modestly productive by batting .263 (10-for-38) with 10 walks over that span. The third baseman is slugging .462 this season, his highest mark since 2020, but it's coming from an uptick in doubles to offset a relative lack of over-the-fence power. He's at 13 long balls, 43 RBI, 54 runs scored, three stolen bases and 31 doubles through 98 contests overall.

Gunnar Henderson 3B | BAL
Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Clobbers two-run homer
Henderson went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer, a walk and two runs scored in Sunday's win over the Rays.
Henderson connected on a two-run blast in the second inning for his fifth homer in July and his 16th of the year. After a rough stretch to begin the year, Henderson is slashing .293/.352/.587 with 11 homers, 29 RBI and 25 runs in 40 games since June 2. He's making a case to be in the AL Rookie of the Year conversation and actually holds a higher WAR (2.6) than frontrunners Josh Jung (2.4) and Masataka Yoshida (2.4).

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Could be back Tuesday
White Sox manager Pedro Grifol said that Moncada (back) could return from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Moncada made his seventh rehab appearance for Triple-A Charlotte on Sunday and recorded a double and a pair of walks, bringing his on-base percentage up to .357 during the minor-league assignment. He looks ready to rejoin the big club, and though Moncada mustered a meager .649 OPS at the big-league level this season, Grifol said he still envisions the 28-year-old switch hitter returning to a near-everyday role at third base. Grifol said that Moncada's return won't necessarily bump Jake Burger out of the regular lineup; the skipper floated the possibility of Burger playing more frequently at second base, where he's made two appearances off the bench. Burger could also play at first base if Andrew Vaughn (foot) is moved to the 10-day IL.

Oswald Peraza 3B | LAA
Yankees' Oswald Peraza: Drops to eighth in order
Peraza will start at shortstop and bat eighth in Sunday's game against the Royals.
Before taking a seat for Saturday's 5-2 win, Peraza had started at either third or second base in each of the last four games while serving as the Yankees' leadoff man. He reached base five times in the first of those starts, but he went 0-for-11 with eight strikeouts in the subsequent three contests. Peraza will be back in the lineup Sunday while Anthony Volpe rests, but Peraza will drop to the bottom-third of the starting nine as the freshly activated Jake Bauers takes over as the leadoff hitter. Peraza looks like he could end up filling a utility role moving forward in light of his recent struggles at the plate.

Nick Maton DH | CHW
Tigers' Nick Maton: Sits versus righty
Maton is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.
After being called up from Triple-A Toledo coming out of the All-Star break, the lefty-hitting Maton had started in five of the Tigers' first six matchups with right-handed starting pitchers. He's gone just 2-for-14 at the dish since rejoining the big club, however, and Maton may no longer be guaranteed a strong-side platoon role in the infield. He'll take a seat against Padres right-hander Joe Musgrove on Sunday while Andy Ibanez gets the nod at the keystone.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Goes deep Saturday
LeMahieu went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 5-2 win against the Royals.
LeMahieu broke a 2-2 tie with a solo shot in the seventh inning. It was the veteran's first long ball since June 13, a span of 25 games. LeMahieu has come out of the All-Star break swinging the bat well, slashing .345/.387/.517 over eight games.

Alex Bregman 3B | CHC
Astros' Alex Bregman: Stays hot Saturday
Bregman went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Athletics.
Bregman provided the Astros' lone run when he took Paul Blackburn deep in the sixth inning. This was Bregman's third straight game with a homer, and he's gone deep four times since the All-Star break. The third baseman is up to a .252/.344/.423 slash line with 16 long balls, 63 RBI, 58 runs scored and three stolen bases through 98 contests. After a sluggish first half, he appears intent on finishing the season well.

Jace Peterson SS | ARI
Athletics' Jace Peterson: On base three times in win
Peterson went 2-for-3 with a walk, two RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Astros.
Peterson's playing time has been a bit sparse since the All-Star break, but he's gone 6-for-17 (.353) with four walks over eight contests in that span. He also picked up his 11th stolen base of the season in Saturday's win. The 33-year-old is at a .218/.310/.327 slash line with six home runs, 27 RBI, 28 runs scored, seven doubles and two triples through 307 plate appearances this season. Playing to mediocre numbers in Oakland won't get him on the fantasy radar, especially when he isn't even holding down a strong-side platoon role.

Zack Gelof 2B | ATH
Athletics' Zack Gelof: Hits first major-league homer
Gelof went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and two total runs scored in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Astros.
Gelof padded the Athletics' lead in the seventh inning with his first major-league homer, which came in his eighth game. He's done a lot of other things right so far, racking up three doubles, a triple and two stolen bases while working as the primary second baseman since his July 14 debut, though he's also added a 4:9 BB:K. Trimming the strikeout rate will likely be a key to his fantasy usefulness, though his speed is already showing up after he stole 20 bases in 69 games for Triple-A Las Vegas.
