Josh Rojas 3B | SEA
Mariners' Josh Rojas: Out of lineup vs. southpaw
Rojas is absent from the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Mets.
Rojas will sit for the second time in three games as left-hander Jose Quintana takes the mound for the Mets on Friday. Dylan Moore will shift to third base while Leo Rivas starts at shortstop.

Jean Segura 3B | CLE
Orioles' Jean Segura: Inks minors deal with O's
Segura signed a minor-league contract with the Orioles on Friday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Segura hasn't played since he was cut by the Guardians last August, but he'll now get a chance with the Orioles as organizational depth at Triple-A Norfolk. The 34-year-old infielder slashed just .219/.277/.279 across 326 plate appearances last season, and at this stage of his career he's unlikely to make an impact if he gets brought up to the majors.

Lenyn Sosa 3B | CHW
White Sox's Lenyn Sosa: Getting night off
Sosa is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Cubs.
After making seven straight starts -- four at second base, two at third base and one at DH -- Sosa will take a seat for Friday's series opener. During that stretch, Sosa went 4-for-27 (.148) with one run and two RBI.

Charles Leblanc 3B | LAA
Angels' Charles Leblanc: Sent back down
The Angels optioned Leblanc to Triple-A Salt Lake on Friday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
Leblanc joined the Angels' active roster Saturday and went 1-for-6 across two games with the team. However, with Taylor Ward returning from the paternity list, Leblanc will be returned to Salt Lake.

Coby Mayo 3B | BAL
Orioles' Coby Mayo: Losing playing time to Urias
Mayo is absent from the lineup for Friday's contest in Tampa Bay, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.
It marks the third time in four games that Mayo has been out of the Orioles' starting lineup. The rookie is 0-for-13 with eight strikeouts to begin his major-league career, and it appears he could now be behind Ramon Urias in the pecking order at third base.

Brooks Lee SS | MIN
Twins' Brooks Lee: Lands on IL with biceps tendinitis
The Twins placed Lee on the 10-day injured list Friday with right biceps tendinitis, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.
Lee recently missed some time with what had been referred to as right shoulder soreness, but there's now a different diagnosis and it's an injury bad enough to sideline him at least for the next 10 days. The rookie had seen most of his playing time of late at shortstop while Carlos Correa (heel) was out, but that job now should go to Willi Castro, with Austin Martin and Kyle Farmer mixing in at second base.

Brooks Lee SS | MIN
Twins' Brooks Lee: Could be headed to injured list
Lee (undisclosed) has been scratched from the lineup for the first game of Friday's doubleheader versus the Guardians and could be headed to the 10-day injured list, Declan Goff of SKOR North reports.
It's unclear what injury Lee is dealing with, but he is no longer listed on the Twins' lineup card as a starter or reserve, so a stint on the IL looks imminent. The Twins should have more information on his status shortly.

Oswaldo Cabrera 3B | NYY
Yankees' Oswaldo Cabrera: Goes deep again Thursday
Cabrera hit a solo home run in his only at-bat in a loss to the Angels on Thursday.
Cabrera entered as a defensive replacement at shortstop in the eighth inning as a result of Anthony Volpe departing after fouling a ball off his foot earlier in the contest. Cabrera made the most of his lone plate appearance, swatting a solo shot to left field in the ninth frame. It was his second homer in as many games, and though X-rays on Volpe's foot came back clean, Cabrera could see an uptick in playing time if the former is forced to miss any contests.

Jazz Chisholm 3B | NYY
Yankees' Jazz Chisholm: Homers in loss Thursday
Chisholm went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Angels on Thursday.
Chisholm hit four homers over his first three games after joining New York at the trade deadline, but he came into Thursday in a bit of a rut with no long balls or RBI and a .174 batting average over six games since. He snapped the homer and RBI drought with a solo shot in the second inning, though he also struck out for the eighth time over his past four contests. Chisholm can be a bit streaky, but his overall numbers make for a strong fantasy asset, as he's slashing .250/.322/.430 with 18 homers, 59 RBI, 54 runs and 24 stolen bases over 109 games on the campaign.

Jason Vosler 3B | SEA
Mariners' Jason Vosler: Headed back to Tacoma
Vosler was optioned to Triple-A Tacoma on Thursday.
Vosler will head back to Tacoma after spending over two weeks with the major-league club, going 5-for-28 with a triple, a double, three RBI and two runs scored. In a corresponding move, Dominic Canzone (thigh) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list.
