Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Gets breather Sunday
Moncada is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.
Moncada will get a breather for the first time since he returned to the lineup Tuesday following a stint on the 15-day injured list due to a hamstring strain. Josh Harrison will check in at third base in place of Moncada, who went 8-for-24 with two home runs, two walks, a double, five RBI and five runs in his first five games back in action.

Ryan Kreidler 3B | MIN
Tigers' Ryan Kreidler: Back in lineup Sunday
Kreidler is starting at third base and batting ninth in Sunday's game against the Royals.
Kreidler got Saturday's game off but will now be starting for the eighth time in the last nine contests. The Tigers are clearly wanting to take a look at the rookie, who is slashing .250/.321/.417 early in his career. Jeimer Candelario heads to the bench after starting at third Saturday.

Jeimer Candelario 3B | LAA
Tigers' Jeimer Candelario: Resting Sunday
Candelario is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals.
Candelario gets Sunday off after starting at the hot corner Saturday, with Ryan Kreidler taking over. The rookie Kreidler is seeing more playing time as the 54-85 Tigers look toward the future, so Candelario's fantasy value will likely take a hit down the stretch as he sees his playing time reduced.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Hopes to return for next homestand
LeMahieu (toe) hopes to return to action during the Yankees' homestand that begins Sept. 20, Brendan Kuty of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.
LeMahieu landed on the injured list Thursday, and it appears he will miss more than the minimum 10 days. However, he might not be out much beyond that. Gleyber Torres will likely remain the Yankees' primary second baseman until LeMahieu is ready to return.

Gunnar Henderson 3B | BAL
Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Gets day off
Henderson is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox, according to Nathan Ruiz of The Baltimore Sun.
Henderson tallied three hits over his last two games, but manager Brandon Hyde decided it was time for his first day off as a big-leaguer. Jesus Aguilar will join the lineup with Henderson opening the game on the bench.

Rafael Devers 3B | SF
Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Snaps HR drought
Devers went 3-for-5 with a home run and five RBI in Saturday's 17-4 win over Baltimore.
Devers ended a 21-game run without a home run early in the contest, connecting on a first-inning grand slam. His 425-foot no-doubter also lifted the third baseman from a 1-for-13 funk over the last four games, during which he left 12 men on base.

Eugenio Suarez 3B | CIN
Mariners' Eugenio Suarez: Slugs 28th homer
Suarez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 3-1 win over Atlanta.
Suarez hit one of two Seattle solo homers off Atlanta starter Max Fried in the contest, launching a 423-foot shot in the sixth inning. The long ball was his third over his past three games and pushed his season total to 28. Suarez went deep 31 times last season but finished below the Mendoza Line with a .198 batting average. He's maintained the power while improving his slash line to .233/.333/.456 in 2022.

Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE
Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Productive in Saturday's win
Ramirez went 3-for-4 with a walk, an RBI, a stolen base and two runs scored in Saturday's 6-4 win over the Twins.
Ramirez made some noise from the No. 3 spot in the order. He picked up his 15th steal of the season in the first inning, his first successful theft since July 26 after getting caught on his last three attempts. The third baseman's on pace to miss the 20-steal mark for the first time in a full season since 2017. He's added a .280/.351/.525 slash line with 26 home runs, 109 RBI and 77 runs scored through 133 contests.

Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL
Yankees' Josh Donaldson: Homers in return
Donaldson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two additional runs scored in Saturday's win over Tampa Bay.
Donaldson nearly had two long balls in his return from the paternity list -- his shot off the top of the right-field wall in the first inning ended up a long single after review. Regardless, it was a nice afternoon for Donaldson, who was in the cleanup spot for his first game back.

Tyler Freeman 3B | COL
Guardians' Tyler Freeman: Still not starting
Freeman isn't in the lineup Saturday against the Twins.
Freeman has hit safely in each of his last six games but will head to the bench for a third consecutive matchup. Amed Rosario is starting at shortstop and batting second. Freeman's time as a near-everyday player for Cleveland may have come to an end.
