Isaac Paredes 3B | HOU
Astros' Isaac Paredes: Showing patience at plate
Paredes went 1-for-2 with a triple, two walks, an RBI and two runs scored Tuesday against the Tigers.
Paredes has at least one hit in seven of his last eight games, going 9-for-29 in that span. More impressively, he's managed four walks while striking out only twice in that same sample. Paredes tallied his first triple of the season Tuesday, raising his ISO to .159 across 125 plate appearances for the season.

Oswald Peraza 3B | LAA
Yankees' Oswald Peraza: Contributes as substitute
Peraza went 2-for-5 with one run scored and two RBI in Tuesday's 15-3 win over the Orioles.
Peraza entered Tuesday's game in the first inning for Jazz Chisholm (oblique). Peraza took advantage of the opportunity, smacking a two-run single in the fourth frame and finishing with his second multi-hit game of the season. With DJ LeMahieu (calf/hip) on the 10-day IL, Peraza would be a candidate to see his playing time increase significantly if Chisholm is sidelined for an extended period of time.

Junior Caminero 3B | TB
Rays' Junior Caminero: Belts sixth homer
Caminero went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in Tuesday's loss to the Royals.
Caminero provided the Rays' lone run with his solo shot in the fourth inning. It was his sixth home run of the year and first since April 17. During his nine-game homerless drought, Caminero posted a .476 OPS. His season slash line is now .266/.302/.486 with 12 extra-base hits and 17 runs scored through 116 plate appearances.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Receives injection for hip
Manager Aaron Boone said Tuesday that LeMahieu (calf) received a "preemptive" cortisone injection in his right hip and is expected to resume his minor-league rehab assignment Thursday or Friday, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
LeMahieu has gone 6-for-10 with a homer and a double through four games during his rehab assignment with Double-A Somerset, but he received the injection after "feeling something come on" with his hip. The hip issue doesn't appear to be a serious concern, but it's a concerning development for a player that's recently been saddled by injuries. Assuming the veteran infielder can pick up his rehab assignment in a few days, he could be ready for his season debut with the Yankees after another week or two in the minors.

Ben Williamson 3B | TB
Mariners' Ben Williamson: Returns to lineup Tuesday
Williamson (back) is back in the lineup and batting eighth for Tuesday's game against the Angels.
Williamson was scratched from the lineup Sunday against the Marlins due to back spasms, and Seattle had an off day Monday. With Dylan Moore (hip) placed on the 10-day IL earlier Tuesday, Williamson should see continued regular playing time. The rookie third baseman is slashing .310/.356/.429 with one home run, seven RBI, 10 runs scored and a 3:8 BB:K across his first 45 big-league plate appearances.

Royce Lewis 3B | MIN
Twins' Royce Lewis: Likely to return May 6
Lewis (hamstring) is likely to be activated from the 10-day injured list when the Twins begin a homestand May 6, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.
Lewis will play 10 innings at designated hitter during Triple-A St. Paul's doubleheader Tuesday as he continues his rehab assignment. He'll then play a full game at third base Wednesday. While Lewis is "potentially an option" to be activated Friday in Boston, Hayes relays that it's "likelier" Lewis will remain on his rehab assignment through the weekend before making his season debut for the Twins on May 6. The infielder has been working his way back from a strained left hamstring.

Jonah Bride 3B | TEX
Twins' Jonah Bride: Laces three hits
Bride went 3-for-5 with one RBI and a run scored in Monday's 11-1 win against the Guardians.
The 29-year-old notched his best performance as a Twin, collecting his first three-hit game since Sept. 24, 2024 as a Marlin, coincidentally in Minnesota. Bride joined the Twins on April 16 and has hit .500 (7-for-14) in limited action. Given this effort, it is possible Bride garners more starts while Luke Keaschall (forearm) is on the injured list.

Jordan Westburg 2B | BAL
Orioles' Jordan Westburg: Lands on IL with strained hamstring
The Orioles placed Westburg on the 10-day injured list Monday with a left hamstring strain.
The team had initially pegged the infielder as day-to-day after he suffered the injury Saturday against the Tigers, but subsequent testing revealed a strain. Westburg will be eligible for activation May 7, but it's unclear whether he will be ready to go on that date. Ramon Urias will handle the bulk of the playing time at third base while Westburg is sidelined.
