Arenado isn't in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rays, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Arenado will get a day off after he went 2-for-16 with two runs, two RBI, two walks and a strikeout over the last four games. Brendan Donovan will start at third base while Lars Nootbaar takes over in right field.

Senzel went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs in Tuesday's 14-8 win over the Diamondbacks.

Senzel has served as the Reds' leadoff man in each of the team's first seven games of June and has produced a .323/.364/.355 slash line to go with two stolen bases. While the power production is lacking from the former top prospect, Senzel likely won't be in danger of sliding down in the order until Jonathan India (hamstring) is cleared to return from the 10-day injured list.

Farmer went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Tuesday's 14-8 win over the Diamondbacks.

Despite missing three consecutive games in late May while tending to general soreness, Farmer hasn't missed a beat at the plate. Over his last 15 games dating back to May 17, he's slashing an incredible .442/.500/.750 with four home runs, 17 RBI and 10 runs and two stolen bases. While the production he's turned in the past three weeks is obviously unsustainable -- he's turned in a .475 BABIP during that stretch -- Farmer may be swinging too hot of a bat to ignore in shallower leagues where he may still be available.

Pirates director of sports medicine Todd Tomczyk said Wednesday that Newman (groin) is pain-free with all baseball activities, Justice delos Santos of MLB.com reports.

Newman resumed running Sunday and continues to build up while participating in all baseball activities. The 28-year-old isn't eligible to return from the 60-day IL until June 26, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him begin a rehab assignment in the coming weeks prior to rejoining the major-league club.

Reynolds went 2-for-5 with a home run and four RBI during Tuesday's 14-8 win over the Diamondbacks.

The 31-year-old delivered a two-run homer during the third inning and brought home another two runs with a single in the eighth. Reynolds has appeared in 33 games for Cincinnati this year and has a .277/.349/.404 slash line with two long balls, 11 RBI and three stolen bases, and he should continue seeing regular time at second base until Jonathan India (hamstring) returns from the injured list.

Muncy (elbow), who is currently on a rehab assignment with Triple-A Oklahoma City, could be activated from the injured list for this weekend's series against the Giants, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Muncy has gone 2-for-10 through three rehab games, and he hit a walkoff two-run home run for OKC on Tuesday. The slugger went on the injured list May 28 and is eligible to return to the big-league club. It seems likely that he'll be back by the time the Dodgers take on the Giants in San Francisco starting Friday.

Peterson is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Phillies.

The veteran infielder started the past five games but will take a seat Tuesday with lefty Ranger Suarez pitching for Philadelphia. Peterson is unlikely to see consistent starting chances going forward since Willy Adames (ankle/quadriceps) is poised to be activated Wednesday, which will push Luis Urias from shortstop back to third base.

McMahon is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game at San Francisco, Patrick Lyons of TheDNVR.com reports.

The 27-year-old went 2-for-5 versus Atlanta on Sunday but still has a .578 OPS over his past 10 games, and he'll take a seat Tuesday for only the third time all season. It's possible McMahon receives more regular off days going forward following the promotion of prospect Elehuris Montero, who is starting at third base against the Giants.

Anderson (back) underwent an MRI on Tuesday and will visit with a spine specialist Wednesday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Anderson hasn't played since May 28 due to his back injury and doesn't yet have a timetable to rejoin the Marlins. However, a better idea of his status will likely come into focus after he visits with a specialist Wednesday. Joey Wendle (hamstring) is also on the injured list, so Jon Berti and Willians Astudillo have seen most of the playing time at third base recently.

The Giants optioned Vosler to Triple-A Sacramento on Monday.

Vosler's demotion could signal that the Giants expect to bring back Darin Ruf (personal) from the bereavement list ahead of Tuesday's series opener with the Rockies. After being called up from Triple-A last Wednesday, Vosler started at third base in each of the Giants' subsequent five games and went 5-for-16 with two home runs, one double, one walk, one stolen base, four runs and three RBI.
