Riley has a partially torn LCL and will get a second opinion from Dr. James Andrews on Monday, Gabe Burns of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Riley will be seen by team doctors in Miami, according to 680 The Fan Atlanta, but is feeling a lot better Thursday and is walking around without any issues. With a surgery decision looming, it is uncertain if the 22-year-old has played his last game of the season. The Braves currently believe Riley won't be forced to go under the knife, according to Burns, though more won't be known until after Monday's visit with Dr. Andrews. He is currently slashing .242/.294/.504 with 45 RBI and 38 runs scored in 255 plate appearances.

He was already placed on the injured list with a right knee ligament injury, to a different part of the knee than last year's injury, per Burns. Riley apparently suffered the injury while working out in the weight room earlier this week. A visit with Dr. Andrews typically means surgery is a likelihood, so Riley could have played his last game of the 2019 season.

Escobar went 0-for-3 with a walk, stolen base and RBI In Wednesday's 6-1 win over the Phillies.

Escobar collected his 93rd RBI on a sacrifice fly in the third inning, allowing him to inch ahead of the Braves' Freddie Freeman (92) for the major-league lead. The steal was also a welcome addition for fantasy managers, who likely didn't draft Escobar with the expectation that he would offer much in the category. He still only has five stolen bases on the campaign, but that actually matches his previous career-best total from 2017.

Anderson went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's loss to the Mets.

Over his last 15 games, Anderson has compiled a surprising 1.002 OPS, with 10 of his 16 hits (five doubles and five homers) going for extra bases. On the season, the 26-year-old is slashing .248/.328/.451 with 18 home runs and 55 RBI.

Manager Dave Martinez said Rendon was okay after exiting the game with a sore right big toe, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.

Rendon was hit by a pitch during the fourth inning and eventually left the contest, but there doesn't appear to be any real concern over the issue. The 29-year-old iced the injury after exiting and will have Thursday's scheduled off day to recover before the Nationals open a three-game series against the Mets on Friday.

Arenado went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 14-3 loss to the Astros.

Despite getting the rest of the afternoon off in a rout after being lifted in the seventh inning with the Rockies down 11-2, Arenado still went yard for the third time in the last three games and the 25th time this season. On the season, he's slashing .306/.367/.544, as the 28-year-old looks to top a .900 OPS for the fourth straight campaign.

Rendon was removed from Wednesday's game against the Giants with a sore toe, Mark Zuckerman of MASN Sports reports.

Rendon was hit by a pitch in the fourth inning, and while he was initially able to stay in the game, the third baseman was ultimately removed in the sixth frame. The severity of the issue likely won't be known until Rendon undergoes further testing following Wednesday's game. Brian Dozier entered the game in his place.

Donaldson went 1-for-3 with a double, two walks and a run Tuesday in the Braves' 12-7 win over the Twins.

Donaldson has reached base in 11 consecutive contests, slashing .326/.420/.628 with three home runs, four doubles and a 7:12 BB:K over that stretch. After an injury-ravaged 2018 campaign split between Toronto and Cleveland, Donaldson has proven to be an excellent buy-low investment for the Braves, with his improved health playing a key role in his 100-point recovery in OPS this season.

Davis went 2-for-3 with a double, walk and two runs Tuesday in the Mets' 5-0 win over the Marlins.

With 10 starts in the past 11 games and a .394/.488/.788 slash line over that stretch, Davis might have earned himself a full-time role the rest of the season even if injuries to Robinson Cano (hamstring) and Dominic Smith (foot) hadn't contributed to his spike in playing time. Davis will man left field and bat fifth Wednesday in what's already been a strong series versus Miami through the first three games.
