Ronny Mauricio 2B | NYM
Mets' Ronny Mauricio: Out of Tuesday's lineup
Mauricio is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Brewers.
Mauricio has now started two of four games since Mark Vientos returned from the 10-day injured list, and he could continue to struggle to find consistent playing time. Brett Baty is at second base and batting ninth for the Mets in Tuesday's series opener.

Nicky Lopez 3B | ARI
Nicky Lopez: Opts out of minor-league contract
The Diamondbacks released Lopez on Tuesday, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.
Lopez had the ability to trigger an opt-out clause in his minor-league contract on July 1, and he's done just that. The utility infielder slashed .267/.303/.317 in 24 games with Triple-A Reno and has gone 1-for-24 at the plate during stints this season between the Angels and Cubs.

Royce Lewis 3B | MIN
Twins' Royce Lewis: Makes return from IL
The Twins reinstated Lewis (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday.
Lewis will rejoin Minnesota after he missed just over two weeks with a left hamstring strain, the latest in a long line of soft-tissue injuries for the 26-year-old in recent seasons. He was activated after going 0-for-8 with two strikeouts while making two starts at designated hitter and one at third base during a three-game rehab assignment at Triple-A St. Paul. Though the Twins haven't clarified their plans for Lewis upon his return from the IL, he'll presumably have his workload managed initially and may end up seeing a larger share of his starts at DH in an effort to keep him healthy. While Lewis has been productive when available in past seasons despite missing considerable time with injuries, he's struggled to get going offensively thus far in 2025, slashing just .202/.282/.303 with two home runs and nine RBI over 110 plate appearances.

Addison Barger SS | TOR
Blue Jays' Addison Barger: Getting Tuesday off
Barger is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Yankees.
After going 0-for-4 with two strikeouts while starting at third base in Monday's 5-4 win, the left-handed-hitting Barger will take a seat Tuesday as the Yankees send a second straight lefty starting pitcher (Max Fried) to the hill. Ernie Clement will cover third base and George Springer will occupy right field while Barger exits the starting nine.

Noelvi Marte 3B | CIN
Reds' Noelvi Marte: Rain delays rehab
Marte (oblique) appeared in both ends of a doubleheader Sunday and went a combined 3-for-6 with a walk, a triple and two RBI for Double-A Chattanooga.
Rain washed out potential rehab games Friday and Saturday before Marte returned to the field. He served as the designated hitter in Sunday's opener and played third base in the nightcap. The rehab plan was for Marte to play five consecutive games for the Lookouts before he was to be re-evaluated, but the rain limited him to four contests. Chattanooga was off Monday and will begin a road trip Tuesday. It is unclear if the Reds will send Marte on the road or conduct the re-evaluation.

Gino Groover 3B | ARI
Diamondbacks' LuJames Groover: Part of All-Star festivities
Groover was named to the All-Star Futures Game roster Monday, Connor Emery of Arizona Sports reports.
Groover, 23, returned to Double-A Amarillo to start the 2025 season and will likely take the next step to Triple-A Reno. He has a .301/.377/.471 line with 10 home runs and 36 RBI over 67 games for the Sod Poodles. There are questions about Groover's defense, but he's spent all season at third base. He could eventually swing to the cold corner where his defense and quickness won't get in the way of his bat.

Diamondbacks' Eugenio Suarez: Pops homer in win
Suarez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 4-2 win over the Giants.

He's added a .257/.324/.570 slash line with 69 RBI, 49 runs scored, 16 doubles and one stolen base over 82 contests.

Junior Caminero 3B | TB
Rays' Junior Caminero: Clubs homer in loss
Caminero went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run during Monday's 6-4 loss to the Athletics.
Caminero has been having a breakout campaign this season, and that continued with another home run Monday. He's now up to 21 home runs on the season, tied for ninth in MLB. At 21-years-old, he is the youngest member of the top-10. The young infielder is slashing .259/.303/.518 with 53 RBI this season.

Ke'Bryan Hayes 3B | CIN
Pirates' Ke'Bryan Hayes: Plates two runs in victory
Hayes went 1-for-4 with two RBI in Monday's 7-0 win against the Cardinals.
The 28-year-old stretched Pittsburgh's lead to 6-0 when he ripped a two-RBI single off St. Louis starter Erick Fedde in the fifth inning. The hit caps a solid June during which Hayes hit .301 (25-for-83) with a homer, three steals, 12 runs scored and 11 RBI in 23 games. Through 311 total plate appearances, the third baseman is slashing .246/.297/.304 with two homers, nine steals, 27 runs scored and 29 RBI.

Alec Bohm 3B | PHI
Phillies' Alec Bohm: Continues to hit for high average

Bohm wraps up a productive month of June on a modest four-game hitting streak. Through his last 27 outings, the corner infielder is batting .301 with two home runs, four doubles, 16 RBI and one stolen base covering 103 at-bats.
